Good job Ford with having V8 as standard for this trim …they understand
Actually, with the long bed you can order the v6 still.
But every one is a gay ass 2.7 Eco boost of a 3.5 eco boost lol 😂
They’re staying true to their roots these trucks scream America 🇺🇸
So cool to see modern tributes to the lightning. Used to own a 99 SVT, absolutely my favorite truck ever.
wait, what. No supercharger? I thought that would put the "bolt" into the lightning ;) They sell them with superchargers for that price
Nice! Add adaptive cruise control and it will be perfect!
Beautiful, tough price but at least you can move a fridge compared to a mustang or corvette.
Beautiful build 😍
Beautiful build!!! They would ask 70k for this here in California 😂😂
I like this XL package.
I live in the north country.
My truck needs ground clearance.
It needs full 4×4 lockers.
It would see deep snow & mud.
A lowered truck is now interest to me.
I love 5.0 power.
I like the regular cab pickup.
Short box works for me.
If i need more. I pull my trailer.
Great looking finish
Good looking truck. I want one. Hook up with Riser Ford in Hot Springs, Ar. so I can kick the tires and see it up close and personal.
This is really cool
I want the white one.
any audio upgrades?
engine power adders?
any sleeper models?
Nice
Cool
I've seen pics of singer Lady Gaga driving a red 1993 SVT Lightning. One of these in red would be a stunning show truck.
What performance upgrades you doing to that golf cart (in the background near the end)” 😄
Sweet looking trucks Tim. We bought our Maverick from Granger and I would say you are the only other dealer I would consider buying from. In a year or 2 we are thinking about getting a simple XL V8 4x4 that I could potentially add the blower to. I need a solid tow vehicle to replace our 96 Bronco.
What is the tow rating on a regular van XL V8?
If have to look that up, there are things that affect the tow capacity.
@@longmcarthur I ended up looking it up, looks like minimum would be 8500#. That's just about right to haul my tractor around and maybe a future circle track car.
The holes for the grease Zirk‘s on the lower control arm look like they should be on the bottom side not the top 😮
He was putting it up as example of what is done. We have professional certified installers that put on 100s of lowering and lift kits. It is done correctly. Thanks for looking out for us and the buyers.
Would need a supercharger with 4WD and bigger brake kit for the extra power.
That would be the best option. We can do 4x2 or 4x4. You can put a supercharger on the 4x2.
How does that passenger side rear plastic splash guard hold up to the heat from the side exit exhaust?
We angle it so it does contact it.
Hate seeing dealers taking these and overpricing them now.
If the truck needs warranty work does it need to be towed back to Salina?
Maybe any ford dealer can do work and they bill Salina dealer?
No
@@IamBlackMagic03 you got it, exactly right ✅️
is there a link to check out and keep updated on your inventory of these Lightning Bolts as they become available?

Are they RCSB or 8’ beds?
6.5'
What people wanted when ford introduced the current Lightning I don't want a f'n EV I want a regular or supercab with a supercharged V8 with a couple interior options. I would try adapting other current and past V8s in the truck 6.2L or 7.3L Godzilla with a supercharger?
What does the 3/36 cover? Heard someone say it only covers 9500. And the complete motor is 19k
Ford covers the vehicle from the factory with their warranty. We cover everything we add for 3 years/36k.
i see these all the time.. I am in Maryland tho. ebay says shipping 48 months. would have to look into that
We ship to 48 states.
@@longmcarthur I meant 48 states yes. seen a few of them on ebay. wasn't sure how that worked.
@@expiredwithnate6687 Our eBay listings include free shipping similar to my TH-cam special.
Very cool truck. Do you have a rear exit dual exhaust option? Not a fan of the side exit exhausts on any truck.
The difficulties with tear Exit is the fact that we would need to do a bumper replacement instead of just painting the bumper it comes with.
@@longmcarthur Ford already has the factory bumper for dual exhausts. They use them on the Tremor package and Raptor. I wouldn't think it would be that difficult.
@Mustgtcs07 correct, but not the easy we order these on the XL trim. So we need need to order the correct bumper and throw away the factory bumper. We could do it but it would cost extra.
@@longmcarthur OK, I got you.
How much ?? I got a 2024 5.0 regular cab 2 wheel drive . I want this my truck was 36k out the door . They would not give me a answer on the whipple and I hear I had to order . This is my 3rd Xl truck white I wish I could of gotten one with no touch screen and crank up windows . I wanted gutted lightweight
You can check out our website for current pricing, www.long-mcarthur.com/new-F-150-lightning-bolt/
Superchargers are not available yet. Whipple is telling us it will probably be 4th quarter before they have them.
Ok . See you soon
Are you guys going to offer a Roush supercharger or Whipple supercharger with the Lightning Bolts bumping up the horsepower
Yes, once available
When will the Whipple S/C for the 2024 be available?
I was told early summer for Whipple and late summer for Roush, well thts what my dealer said when I ordered mine last week.
@@Forever.Remain.Nameless thanks. Who os your dealer would like to explore options?
Whipple and Roush are working together because they are not able to figure out the programming in the 2024. They are hoping for this summer.
@@randyking1715 Ray Skillman in greenwood Indiana.....
How about doing for the Australian market
Tire size?
Doesn't the IHC have cracking issues?
So far we haven't seen any issues with IHC Lowering Kits. We have been using them for 3 years now. They retain alot of OEM parts on the trucks. We also stand behind them with 3/36 warranty to assure customers if there is any issues that they will be taken care of.
Put the whipple on it and I’ll take it. I’m goi g on a road trip I guess.
We can do that once they are available. Although 400hp on a regular cab with the 3.73 E-Lock with the 10 speed auto in Sport mode might surprise you.
Did I hear a Roush Maverick lol ?
Lowering a pickup truck is still something I just don’t understand.
If it doesn’t come with a whipple, I’m not interested.
Whipple does not have a supercharger available for the F-150 yet. They have one in partnership with Ford Performance for the Mustang.
No 4x4 on the website....
Most of them sold as soon as they were built. We have more on order. Please call us if you want one and we will take care of getting one for you.
Here I was hoping Ford Finally made a single cab Lightning BEV pickup...
big wheels and lowering kits so cliche' now. poor side of town dudes all do that
Looks good.. but man we, the people started this.. you're late to the game.
This is our 10th year putting together this build. We build 50+ a year. This year we are build at least 60.
@@longmcarthur Good luck with them... they do look good though.👍🏻
Whipple?
Whipple does not have a supercharger yet. Both Roush and Whipple are struggling and working together to get the coding correct. Ford has locked down the coding for 2024 model year.
