2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R 5 things I like and 5 things I dont like | Still the best off road truck?

- I have now had my 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R for almost a month and put over 1600 miles on it. It has already seen a Dune trip, Towed a trailer, and multiple drive reviews.

Love that truck, but I get where you are coming from. I agree with everything you said as far as pros and cons. I too would feel bad having to use that as a truck. Not so much with a standard Raptor. I’m in California and wouldn’t like to fill that up when gas prices fluctuate. Well looking forward to what’s coming next on the channel. I myself would be happy with a 24’ 37 package. Perfect package for me. No sunroof, avalanche gray, no graphics with the R wheels, and recaro seats of course
heck ya 24 37 package is I think the best liveable option thats maxed out for off road. the new suspension on R and 37 is legit!
I have the exact same truck moved up form a 22 Gen 3 35' truck. After a month of ownership and cant image driving anything else pulled the fender decal off and installed Method 702 Beed Grips with zero offset truck looks mean. She is my daily and don't plan to beat it up just drive it and enjoy it. Installed the GT500 air filter it sound better my co work has a final edition TRX and my R just look way better than a TRX.

All that money and it doesn’t come with fender liners? WTF?
100% agree on the shifter. My TRX has the console shifter too and I’d rather it be a column or dial. Prefer my center console space

one really weird thing I've noticed from driving the gen 3 vs gen 2 is that the gen 3 has this uncomfortable curve where the outside of your right knee would rest when driving. (see at like 2:06 in the vid) In my gen 2 it's flat there and I usually rest my knee there while driving. If you do that in the gen 3 it gets sore after a while because of the structure. Am I crazy and does no one else do this/notice? I also am 6'2 and have long legs but the driving position is deff more comfortable in gen 2.
I will take a look at this. I am not that tall, but I will now pay attention to this!
For me the gen 2 had the trailer controls jamming into my knee

Msrp for Msrp comparing TRX vs Raptor R is close HOWEVER good luck getting into a RAPTOR R at MSRP as Greedy dealers are not even considering 10k over MSRP!

I can totally understand that...can you tune a 24 TRX or just 21-23s?
RAM truck interiors are IMO hands down better fit and finish and better looking than Ford.

The GM trucks are not selling do to their DFM system. I will not buy a GM truck just for that reason. Just my option
