My band covers this song. It's harder than it looks. It's easy to lose the groove with the subtle changes in the dynamics Alan White used. He created the perfect drum part that doesn't get in the way of the guitar or vocals. You nailed the essence of this song Corey. Kudos to you from a fellow drummer.

Not really sure what's special about mine 🤷♂️ unfortunately TH-cam doesn't give you many options. You can appeal their decision but they make it very clear that if you do not own the rights or have a license then you have no case to be made 😞 I've appealed copyright claims before and its worked out but that's because the song they were claiming I used wasn't correct so I had a fair argument. In this case I'm hesitant because technically they are correct and I don't want my channel to be penalized. Weird thing is that they had already put a copyright claim on the video and had the right to put ads on it which would bring them revenue. I thought it was a fair trade - I can't profit from their song but I can use it as promo for my channel and they would get any money generated from ads. Seems like a win, win to me but hey! What do I know? Lol it's pretty discouraging but unfortunately I am subject to whatever rules they make up 😫 oh well, I'm going to keep at it! 🤘🤘

Hey Aaron, thx for reaching out! I'm sorry for the delay. I've had a couple setbacks in the last few months and it's put my production on a bit of a hiatus. My recording studio is now at home thanks to the covid19 pandemic and I have three dogs who will not allow me to play without going insane lol so I usually have to wait until they're out of the house which doesn't happen too often. The second thing is that TH-cam has started blocking my videos :( in fact this video (Don't look back in anger) is blocked in North America, my Wonderwall cover has been permanently blocked worldwide as well as a few others. This is very discouraging and I am hesitant to put a ton of effort into covers if they're just going to get blocked. I don't want to sound like I am making excuses but I hope this sheds some light on why I've been slacking. I didn't forget though and I still plan on making a cover of 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' as well as a tutorial video because those don't seem to get blocked. I'll keep you posted! Take care :)

And also have you contacted TH-cam and asked for an explanation on why your videos are getting blocked ? And also geez don’t let TH-cam and getting blocked put you off of what you like doing and your passion keep pushing and clawing your way forward and you get there mate. And I wish TH-cam will tell people why there videos are getting blocked and how to correct it. Take it easy mate 👍🏼
