People just wasting their time and energy on dumb useless stuff. As a female INTJ, that "conflict" wouldn't even be on the lists of things, I'm thinking about.
@@levigivens That's interesting. Do you have proof? I was under the impression that INFJ's were the most inflated/misdiagnosed type. I don't have proof of my beliefs, but I do find it interesting that the "rarest" type has the most online content pandering to it.
I will say this.. as an INTP, I love INTJs, like us INTPs, they're like cats, it takes a second to gain their Fi and undivided attention, but when you get it, it's satisfying and they're some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, not a harsh bone in their body.. INTJs are misunderstood a lot, my best friend is an INTJ and a lot of people tell me his personality gets under their skin, but what they're not seeing, I am, and I feel for his struggle. As someone with inferior Fe, I only half understand that pain, to have that as a blind spot must take a really bad toll on their relationship building skills, but in a way, that's a good thing, only the true friends remain, like a sifter. For me, I've chosen bad friends before and ended up regretting it, but I'll always be there for my INTJ, he means the world to me, and even if we don't always agree, we still love and respect each other regardless.
It's funny how this reddit thread resembles real life. INTJs are the most critical of themselves but somehow still have plenty of hidden enemies. Very weird.
Isn’t one of their features…is to troll? I don’t think the rivalry is serious. It has too much of a trolling nature, to humorously get under someone’s skin, to attempt, actually. It satisfies to achieve that in an impenetrable person- so it’s like a “win” if you can “hurt” an INTJs ego. Personally, I do not experience jealousy- not even with my siblings or competitors, or even love. If someone tries to damage my ego (when I don’t have an ego) it actually is a compliment if I’m judged as scary or a psychopath… throw as many stones in the ocean, the whirlpools swallow and digest them… when they think these stones fall in deep waters. Sorry- attack something that actually matters to us…
@@godKiller.369 man… it’s (Fi) that prevents us from turning one into microwave food and leaving no crumbs for anyone to put the pieces back together again 🙃
INTP here. I respect and admire INTJs a lot. I realized that many traits I want to develop in myself, the ability to have a vision for the future, productivity, a good sense of personal values and authenticity, are all traits that they have. Having INTJ friends and an INTJ partner inspires me to be better. From a distance they might seem cold and uncaring, but once you get to know them better, you see that they have deep emotions (I mean this in a positive way) and are very loyal and thoughtful towards the people they care about.
Appreciated! I have never met an INTP in life or online, so you’re the first I’ve interacted with. I appreciate your positivity. I never really knew my persona until I met an INFJ man who is married to my bestie. He compared me to Wednesday Adams, which I didn’t even know about. He “forced” me to watch at least ONE episode and… 💀 I was like wait a minute… 🙃 But yes, Fi development is key.
As an INTP, I’ve worked well with INTJs and ENTJs. I think the Ti-Ne balances the Ni-Te and Te-Ni. As Ti-Ne, we are always running “what-if” and “why” parallel scenarios all about background data and the path(s). Whereas, our Ni-Te cousins see the end state goal and the effectives steps to get there. We need both styles. An ENTJ client (for an architectural project) once told me “I know exactly what I want in the end, but I need your help to get me there without falling into any potholes or falling off any cliffs”. As an Ti-Ne-Si-Fe user helping a Te-Ni-Se-Fi users, we certainly made up for each others blind spots, since we brought different perspectives. Plus strongly believe that we can summon our fifth function for short periods when needed (Te for INTP, Ne for INTJ, Ti for ENTJ), so we “get” (understand) each other. In summary, I don’t see any rivalry. Or is that just my Fe talking. 😂 If anything, I see more of a discordance between INTP/ENTP and ISTJ/ESTJ in the ‘openness’ area.
Yeah there is no conflict.. as an INTJ I can look at the details with my INTP, get sht done with the ENTJ, explore the possibilities with ENTP, and realize everyone`s potential with INFJ.
To me this is not surprising at all. You'll see bitter and passive agressive behavior coming from INTP's generally more often then INTJ's. It seems to be Fe inferior, as with our inferior function we like to lash out at times. By this I mean they get upset by some opinion (for example someone said INTJ's are smarter) but they hold it in for a long time and it bothers them more and more, and they can't wait for an opportunity to criticize publicly this person or group that their Fe was "tolerating" for so long in their mind. Everyone does this to some extent, but I noticed this pattern stick out specifically with Ti doms. This "they disagree, hold it in, get more angry on the inside and finally lash out when they get a chance" thing. We higher Fe users do the same but in smaller doses on an ongoing basis, in the form of gossip. Weaker Fe doesn't let it out so often though, so they have this need to explode with criticism when they see an opening. This is what all Fe users do on some level. If they feel like someone is a threat to their status, or competition, they try to subtly bring down that persons reputation publicly if there is a chance (this is where adding the compliments too comes in, to make it look not so obvious). (The higher the Fe, the more masterfully someone can hide this criticism without it being obvious. Proficient Fe users can make you start hating someone throughout the weeks without you even noticing how that came about.) Edit: Oh, I see that you mention the Fe thing later.
This is such a fascinating comment. I don't think I'm present when a low Fe user unloads their critism (or don't remember it) so it's interesting to hear about it from the prespective of a high Fe user. Thanks for the data, I'm going to sit on it for a while to see where it fits and how I feel about it 😅
@@justcallmejon22 Thanks. Not being present with Fe tricks can make you immune to some of them in one sense, but on the other hand makes you really vulnerable to you being influenced without even knowing. When I was younger, I was pretty much controlling the opinions of my ENTJ best friend, and somewhat the whole friend circle drama, dictating who likes or dislikes who, without them even knowing it, with very subtle Fe reinforcement tactics. It was especially the xxTJ's that fell for this manipulation the easiest. That is due to the combo of weaker Fe, yet not high enough Fi-Ti self identity function like the P's. (By the same token, the xxFJ's will fall the easiest for Te tricks)(Not that I endorse such things, it was just classic friend group politics) While INTP's weak but valued Fe wants to do the same, but can't, so they are stuck in the middle, seeing all the social politics, but when they try to bring down someone else's status to raise up themselves, they do it in a clumsy way and openly criticize, and that is not a good look. Unlike doing it below the radar like high Fe.
I think the most important thing to remember here is that not everyone on the INTJ/INTP subreddits are actually the type they are, including the people they are talking about. Mistypes are so common, especially on r/intj
As an INTJ who never browses reddit and has had like 2 INTP friends that I really liked, this is wild to me lol I don't know why there's general hate for INTJ's in those comments, talking about "punching judgemental intj's" in the face, etc. Don't really have an opinion on it they're entitled to feel how they feel about INTJ's, I don't really spend time ever thinking about why people don't like me. If I like the way I am that's all that matters.
I've heard from different INTPs in my life that they believe there's a rivalry but I didn't clarify with them whether they meant something more than just the battle of wits. I'm curious to see if I'm the one missing something but it seems like most INTJs either don't see it or just don't care 😅
Female INTJ and I married a female INTP. We have been together for 12 years. I love the discussions we have and the fact that we both can hold a very in depth conversation (as long as the battery isn't drained.) Both of us are ND as well. We have unspoken communication that can easily be conveyed in a single look at one another. Like if a person were to say something off color that we both don't agree with, it's like our eyes seek eachothers out and share that unspoken, "wtf did I just hear and are you hearing it too". I've never felt the rivalry, I just figured I was talking to another intellectual that can provide different data to what I'm seeing. Or, they agree with my stance. I like the perspective that INTP has.
It's wild to be called boring from a type that is Se blind. It might just be because what INTJs think are fun or exciting lost in their functions ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
INTPs are just used to seeing the flaws(details) in humanity. INTPs don't get to express those facts often because they mask what they think to be accepted. These comments are just them letting it rip in a safe place. INTJs We probably resolve internally if we have beef (Fi)and come to final judgement that INTPs are good peers. Hence their no need to point out the specific flaws. It's counter productive for our internal harmony. What they say is true about unbalanced/undeveloped INTJs. I've been guilty of all of it. In our intuitions, we are so oblivious to (Se) facts. We can't mask our disdain for "flawed" ideas, Fe is tragically underdeveloped, and disrespected by us. I've often thought If I'm morally/ethically/logically sound I must tell this person, it my duty, regardless of emotional impact. If anyone had a valid criticism it would be INTPs. by the same token they are aware and real with themselves about their own flaws. I don't think INTJs need to clap back. Because their opinions probably don't hurt us, and their isn't bad intent. Just same Ti that they apply to themselves and to everyone.
I don't think any of us were planning to clap back at them. They answered the question whether we liked it or not. INTJs are kind of known for not caring, so I'd hope that at worse we'd just go off and do our own thing without them since they're clearly not interested.
That's a good point made about how our Fi processed emotions internally an arrived to a final judgement whereas INTPs Fe has to be externalized. I don't think anyone is going to do anything with this information but all the comments are making it more clear as to why the reddit threads are the way they are.
Female INTJ in her early 20s here! I think it's so sad how the mbti community frequently sets INTJs and INTPs against each other as some sort of "rivals". One of my best friends is an intp and I learn so much from him (because he has a new interest every week lol). It's so interesting to discuss things with someone in the analysts team my age as well. We are so alike yet complete opposites at the same time. And as we learn from each others differences we can also relate to a lot of stuff. If the intp-intj relationship got more encouraged instead of us being seen as "rivals", I think we could work alongside each other and be very powerful in whatever area we took on!
I grew up around an INTP so I understand the growth potential for simply being around one because of their view of the world. This rivalry BS for sure needs to end ✊
Idk, man. Without INTJs who would be INTP's rivals? ENTP's kinda, but those guys are kind of cranked. Life's more fun with competition. #RivalsNotEnemies.
I see INTPs as complimentary types rather than any kind of competitors. From the handful I know personally, two things really stick out. Firstly, I think they are smarter than me. The level of detail they can dive into is insane. Secondly, they lack confidence. They are overly self-aware and worried about how they come across to others. But they are great all rounders. Their presence has made my life better, and I would dearly miss them if they weren't in my life.
Trust me, the attention to details thing still surprise me from time to time as an INTP as well, mostly because having ADHD the Si criticality just comes out of nowhere when we really apply ourselves. But you see, we still need (may or may not be related) memory/experience to cross reference the database with first impressions due to an inherent ineptitude of Se. Sadly, I never came across an openly INTJ or another INTP as expected where social norms permeates here.
It's the internet people sometimes make drama for no reason just for fun and attention so instead of joining them just ignore them i promise you they will stop since no one cares -INTJ 8w9
I don't know man. The same discussion has been happening for over two years. I'm wondering if there's something that us INTJs are missing that other's are seeing.
@@justcallmejon22damn over 2 year's why are they so mad at us what did we do to them to hate a entire mbti type? maybe it's because INTJ'S are more popular than them or something (and can you make a video about enneagrams)
I'd love to see a content like this from INTPs too. I wonder what they think about this topic. This one is very biased, and kinda no different from the post written by INTP user on Redit. Honestly, on Redit and Quora, every user who posts about MBTI is either an INTJ or INFJ (Ni dom) (seems to be the same on TH-cam). And INTPs love to leave comments...As an INTP... At least that is what I observed while looking through MBTI posts. By the way I’m an ENTP and I like this rivalry between this two groups in online forums😈
Speaking for myself only, I've had mostly bad encounters with INTJ's (more than likely misstypes if not unhealthy) who played into the arrogant intellectual stereotype. It always grew worse when they discovered that I was an INTP. Every discussion became an argument/debate with the singular purpose of "besting the INTP" like it was a trophy to be won. That being said, you really have to be skeptical about most of the people who claim to be an INTP on reddit. A lot of genuinely lazy people who want an excuse to enable said laziness love to claim the typing, or even worse.
I think the last time I kept arguing/debating an INTP was because I didn't know what their stance was so I decided to take a different approach and just be annoying/pretend to be ignorant. I told him after the fact but he didnt enjoy it while it was happening 😂
The fact that INTPs are lashing out at us, it just shows they are the ones too emotional, and takes things too personal even though we do nothing but give them their space😂
Infj: It's not really a rivalry it's that you guys are so similar that it comes down to one difference, which is a line in the sand that could divide you in a social setting as 2 distinct groups because as 2 distinct groups, you're so similar... right up to the point of where that line is drawn That your differences finally become apparent. Psst nerds, You are both so busy being yourselves and enjoy it that you don't notice the differences, Which is admirable and enjoyable to observe as an INFJ
I agree with most of your comment but want to add that INTJs and INTPs don't share any top 4 cognitive functions. I think the similar begins and ends that we love and seek knowledge, the approach, application, and dissection of knowledge is where we are different but that's were appreciation is built. We help expand each other's understanding of the world but I guess from the outside it can look the same so disregard this comment if that's the impression it's providing 😅
There are several probable reasons. One would be the mistype issue on both ends - not everyone who is perceived as arrogant is actually an INTJ and not everyone labeled als INTP is one. The second one is maturity which plays a big role. In our youth, the functions are totally mirrored so there is little overlap. But with healthy maturing, both types will develop the other function of the Ni/Ne and Ti/Te pairs and as such they converge a lot. I recently read a statement made by an INTP in school and while my thoughts as an INTJ were completely different back then, they are much more applicable now in my 40s. And the last point might be a healthy personality. I never experienced an conversation more open then that between INTP and INTJ, because both parties know that the other will not judge them for something done with a logical reasoning at the time. While almost everyone else will project a virtual persona on the outside and lying and omission is the norm for social interacting, it is total honesty for that combination. But there are the psychopathic tendencies and these can get in the way - Narcissism for INTPs and Self-Interest for INTJs. Which are directly connected to the Fe / Fi issue mentioned.
Pretty great. I think it helps that he has a degree in counseling so he's very open minded and smart. He says he didn't know I was interested and I joked that I had to make sure he would fit into my 20 year plan.😂😂😂
INTJ here. Actually think the top INTP comments are fair hahaha. Fe and Se blind spots of the duo would create a lot of frustrations in each other. INTJs may quickly forget INTPs Se offenses once the Se acts passed, but INTPs would remember INTJ's Fe offenses maybe because it's literally a judging function. It... kept that judgment?
Agreed with the top comments being fair and been trying to figure out whether Se-related activities are seen as less fun than Ne-related activities for INTPs 😅
I'm still subbed to you, I won't take it away because I think you put good effort in your explanations and analyses. I've quit looking at MBTI as a whole due to the community and due to it's (to me) now more evident irrelevancy. The community is so pre-occupied with self identification and rejecting other's self identification that it's become a big mess of voices and letters which contribute to nothing but confusion and frustration. Aspects along the lines such as: "You said this, so you can't be this type"; "This type is [opinion] and should [action]"; Various arguments on what cognitive functions actually do, which either means the people saying this have no knowledge or the theory is flawed; Or various type of responses of slander or accusations without attempting to explain. Additionally, the lessons of life learned caused me to believe that every person in the world naturally leans to becoming a balanced individual. That means you don't stay the same person (and this type) forever, you don't have the same biases and you will continue to adapt to what life throws at you in various ways. You can view this as becoming well versed in all 8 cognitive functions, if you will. I don't believe MBTI is useful any longer. The deeper you go into the rabbit hole, the more you realise it's pointless. Life's been precious since the parasite was slowly removed from the mind. The sounds of disturbance from the community which treat the theory of MBTI as gospel are silenced. Out with the useless, in with the useful.
I appreciate you maintaining the subscription! I was at a similar point not too long ago where I thought that MBTI couldn't help me self-actualize any further and then my friend brought up a good point that even coachs, lawyers, and other experts go back to the basics. Every one gets something different MBTI and I use it as my own personal therapist where I can come and go as I please. I'm glad you're at a point where you've gotten what you need from it, I hope the same for every person that's into typology ✊
I think it was just an immature argument based on type stereotypes. We should strive to go and grow beyond the stereotypes. All the types can improve themselves and be better. ❤ -fellow infj
I agree that we should all improve but I'd like to address the root of the problem if possible. There's some hostility there so let's nip it in the bud 😁
@@justcallmejon22 No, no. I am not saying you addressing the issue was unnecessary. I am saying they don't have to argue like this. It's pointless and absurd. I hope your video make them think.
No but that top comment in the intp subreddit really captures the dynamics between us though... This is what makes intps so lovable: you're gonna get a bit offended coz they're blunt, but damn are they honest and accurate in their speech. An intp's expression of love is to dissect things, and they dissected us. What more expression of love are we looking for? XDD I'm an intj with an intp bestie who's my favourite person on earth, and our dms go exactly as the subreddits do: I dump my thoughts to her; she dissects it with questions; I try to explain; we have a debate over the whys and the hows of my thought patterns. By the end of it I tell her I love her because of how much she's willing to dig into this, and she tells me I'm weird and she doesn't get it.
I agree and that's ones of the reasons why I admire my INTP friends. The post in the subreddit is different though, they're very aggressive so I'm not sure if it falls into the same category of having a normal conversation with an INTP.
That last line felt like a throw of shade, which I *can* see an intp doing lovingly, but just oblivious to how much shade they're actually throwing. XD And yes, some of the other posts were outright hostile. That first one though, I feel like if it can make someone reply "is this a positive or negative view on the intj?" I'm more willing to interpret it as them trying to be honest and accurate with their dissection.
Ngl... my first initial thoughts on this "rivalry" were "Huh... that's cute. So anyway..." I personally have never had any beef with an INTP that I've encountered. In fact there have been a number of times where even if I didn't agree with their take, I still took what they offered as important data on the off chance that it did become a key piece to utilize and have been saved by that "back pocket" knowledge at unexpected times. As for why they have this seemingly one-sided rivalry going on, I can only imagine that maybe some have had a bad encounter with an INTJ, and then are echoing some sentiments of others opinions on INTJs, and due to us having trickster Fe, while they have inferior Fe, maybe mistake the fact that we generally don't look to everyone else to gauge how we should feel about something as arrogance. Or it could be some small point of envy that we aren't as beholden to the crowd due to Fe's position in our function stack and it's being misinterpreted in some way. Honestly just shooting shots in the dark as again, never knew this was a "beef" to begin with. *shrug*
The funny part is I know nothing makes them more mad than us not even acknowledging the rivalry 😂 sorry that we are living rent free in your heads INTPs, maybe stop caring so much what other people think and just relax and get in touch with your emotions :)
Your guesses are as good as mine. It really does makes me sad that we're seen in such a negative light though but we can't help how someone feels about us 😭
Brilliant video and I agree with everything. I love INTPs!! (So long as I don’t have to live with them - as mentioned by someone else earlier, my INTP ex was also happy to not work a job, not do any housework, and not watch the kids while I worked so he could read linux forums or pursue other interesting topics. He was fun and funny and we had great interesting conversations, but I could only work miracles to make ends meet for 6 years and then I just couldn’t afford him anymore.) ENTJs are definitely my rivals - they take credit for group work (as they “orchestrated” everything), whereas I’m absolutely giving credit to everyone on my team. And I am not about to let them take credit for my work. And noting that INTJs don’t really get jealous - I’d been wondering for YEARS just why other people get jealous. I’m so glad that others have good things and if I want them then I’ll develop a plan to earn them. But I just never understood jealousy, and I now understand why. Thanks for the video!!
The irony is the INTPs claim we INTJs are more emotional but they are the ones letting pride control their actions. I used to be an INTP in high school and over time I changed and now consistently test as INTJ. I think the biggest difference from back then is I thought I was a nihilist, I thought I had no emotions, but I realized nope they were still there I was just uncomfortable so I ignored them. Emotions are cringe and didn't help portray the perfect badass cold emo image I wanted in high school. That DGAF attitude. As I got older I discovered that under the surface things like pride, hypocrisy, love, sadness, all existed and would just find a way to manifest and cause problems. Ironically it was only once I embraced my emotions that I achieved the true IDGAF attitude, because all along what I needed to do was accept myself and not care so much about other people's opinions. The moral of the story is we are all insecure and that includes INTPs, and guess what? If you accept yourself and actually be authentic we will respect you MORE not less. It may feel to you like you are on a different level of intellect and coolness, but from our perspective you seem just just as uncool for not being able to relax and accept your true self. Isn't it ironic that type with the greatest pride in their intellect, the one flaw in that intellect is the pride itself.
My opinion on intps: When they have abstract conversations with people, they sound really cool and smart when they say stuff. I think it’s that Ti Ne combo. You can see that happen in a TH-cam channel called skimmerlit, an intp content creator who just talks and talks. Yea I also think they are less boring than intjs. Their Ne always get so excited and talks a lot of interesting stuff when they are interested.
Skimm introduced me to MBTI. Love him for it. Though I think a lot he did on this topic is too simplistic but fluffed up by poetic language and metaphors, but extremely entertaining and creative.
I watched a few videos from skimmerlit and I've learned a lot about INTPs from him. I think they're more exciting in an Ne lense but INTJs are more exciting in an Se lense. I found that people are usually shocked when they find out all the things INTJs have done because we don't seem like it's in our nature but there's baby Se that needs to come out of the cage ever so often 😂
@@justcallmejon22 - when young, words can hurt a lot. But as we come into our own, we are more able to absorb the darts with less damage. We are also able to find a response that strikes a tender spot.😏 As an example, when I and my new husband went to a (casual) company function of his, one of his buddies commented, concerning me, ‘I always thought C. was a tit man (meaning that my own mammary protuberances were of modest dimensions [which I knew]). I responded, ‘why. Yes, he was. But then he found someone who was a woman all over’. And patted his cheek in a ‘bless your heart’ way. We were fast friends ever after.☺️
Those comments were hurtful. Good that you brought up the issue, it's a good reminder to stay civil online. As for how this happened, I'd go with immature use of inferior Fe. The MBTI community on Reddit is very young. What came out offensive, might have been friendly banter in the user's mind. It's not an excuse to be so insensitive, but it's an explanation. There was a comment from an INTP replying to an INTJ saying "I hate you too
Thank you for speaking up for INTPs. I was hoping to have more INTP representation in the comment section of this video but I guess it makes sense that it's mostly from INTJs since this is an INTJ channel 😭
To be fair, INTJs aren't the only one being called narrow minded. We, INFJs get that too. It's just that every time somebody tells us that, I personally analyze my reasoning again and my whys. I don't lash it out on them, because I wanted to make sure where is their statement coming from (sarcasm, concern, ridicule, shallow or lack of knowledge) to be more accurate about judgement. Gonna be honest, Ne is hard to grasp. For other people it might be liberating, but for me it's paralyzing to have endless options. Not that it's a bad function, it's just that not my best hand. So when they say we are narrow minded, I'll take it as badge and say it works for me. I see the end of the tunnel and know everything I do for that ultimate goal matters. Not that yours don't, we just have different strategies, each works for the other. I have a group with an INTJ and INTP before, and they did clash too. I see this as a pattern, misinterpreting what the other said. One making a strong remark with just a few or subjective information or personal information from one source. One taking things word for word. I bet there would be another scenario where two mature intjs and intps would work hand in hand. Not all intjs are the same and not all intps are the same, so any experience they have, may be valid or not, it's all subjective. I often find myself trying to deescalate and interpret what has been said, but sometimes the solution is just leave things be.
I'm hoping that an INTP content creator reaches out to me to represent the INTP community. I'm still at a lost for words on this conflict and would like some clarity 😭
I used to date an intp but I would not hold her flaws over every intp, everyone has flaws. I think there used to be an intj superiority culture back in the day but that faded out and there is now an intp superiority culture probably led by a lot of mistypes and fictional characters. I kind of left being active in mbti communities as I grew above the average age and kinda feel out of place in communities of mostly minors when I am in my early 20s (tho if anyone knows a more young adult community lmk). Long story short, I need more intuitives in my life to keep my mind active, I don’t got time to hate.
Sad to hear that your relationship with the INTP ended. You mind sharing what you wish you've done in the relationship for those INTJs out there currently dating an INTP?!
One other thing is that there's possibly no rivalry, some just want to create narratives to make things chaotic. Some just want to know who will take the bait. 😅
I wonder if the rivalry is just the battle of wits gone wrong. I don’t know if INTPs care about competing in other ways. I think NTPs like friendly debates, but I can imagine an immature/unhealthy INTP getting upset if it goes too far and then being resentful about it.
I watched a video on TH-cam from one of the INTP users. In all the videos where the topic of the personality of the INTJ was touched upon, this person openly said that he did not like this type. Even while listing the advantages, he managed to bring out the negative. It is very sad to hear such statements. The funny thing is that recently I had a very strong quarrel with my INTP friend, completely disappointed in him. Over the years, I turned a blind eye to many flaws in our relationship, but in the end I finally decided to break up with him. To be honest, I blamed myself for what happened for a very long time, I thought that I was so cruel and did not do enough to change everything, maybe I was too demanding or misunderstood something. But as it turned out, I did everything right. We had a lot of things to talk about, we had a great time until we started living together in the same house and until our goals in life became completely opposite. I was ready to support all his initiatives, but there were none at all, he did not strive for anything, which turned out to be unacceptable for me. I don't know why I wrote this (this is probably stupid because this video was posted a month ago and the fact that my story doesn't really relate to the topic of the video). Sometimes it seems to me that I am not an INTJ at all, because I see so many comments where people are happy with INTP. We've known each other for about 9 years and this breakup makes me feel very strange. P.S. Sorry for the bad English in some points. I don't speak English and used a translator.
You explained it well and I appreciate the comment! I'm sadden to hear about your experience with your INTP friend, I'm still trying to accept that people you care about deeply won't always be there with you as your mature. You know you made the correct decision if you chose internal peace because you have to take care of yourself before you can care for anyone else. Chin up, my INTJ friend, you two will reconnect if the friendship was strong enough ✊
@@justcallmejon22 Thank you so much for your support, it's very valuable to me now. I think I can figure it out and get over it. And also thank you for the content that you create, it is very useful for self-development. Keep up the good work!❤️
As an INTJ with an INTP friend who once thought of me as a bestfriend, I think the rivalry possibility is very real. The reason? I notice that we're actually very different even though on the surface, we're similar. And their Ti-Fe, when unhealthy, likes to compare and criticize. In the beginning, this was very confusing to me because as you've said, we rarely become envious of anything. Our friendship, in its budding phase, was a very beautiful one based on knowledge sharing and care. Though I notice that as time passed, their Ti self-criticism become very pronounced and it became really prevalent in our interactions. I'm still trying to understand them 😅 On the other hand, I notice that their being patient with me with things that I do that they don't like. On what things, I'm still trying to process that. I don't want to ask yet. I have other priorities atm. But one day, I'll have the emotional capacity to just ask the things I do that bothers them. This is based on my experience. Anybody can have different experiences.
just recently i chatted with someone and they told me they're intps - & my first reaction was " oh i love intps! " (based on those i know). but yes, i do came across some intp youtubers who seemed to seethe negativity towards intjs and that made me soo confused. and sad
I've reached out to 3 different INTP content creators, some of which are still active on youtube, and haven't gotten a response to collaborate. It's so sad because I want to promote this dynamic duo 😭
I think that an unexplored (or at least less acknowledged) aspect of this is that this is just how Reddit is. Reddit isn't a particularly friendly place on the best of days, it's filled with angsty teens who think they alone should get to dictate how things should work (not really MBTI related). It's the highschool lunchroom cliques of the internet social spaces. If it can be accurately said that the INTP reddit response was bad and the INTJ response was good, I would say the INTJ response is the exception, not the rule. I do think it's worth pointing out though that even in the comment section of this video, some people feel perfectly comfortable making blanket incendiary comments about INTPs in response to this reddit thread. I'm not sure that the data is as clear as either this video (whose interpretation cannot be quantitatively accounted for) or the reddit threads themselves would indicate and negative sentiment about INTPs, in general, isn't all that difficult to find if you're looking for it, even from INTJs. This 'one-sided rivalry' might extend beyond reddit in some regard but I also think that a large part of this is just due to the way that the MBTI community at large feels so comfortable typecasting people on the basis of their type. I think that the way conversations about type often happen unavoidably creates segregationist/supremacist/retaliatory mentalities, especially in young or and/or unhealthy people. Even in light-hearted, well-meaning channels here on TH-cam, you'll still find videos titled "why XXXX types are the best!", without any real thought given to how those kinds of messages are internalized by a young, impressionable, probably emotionally-vulnerable audience of people who probably aren't even typing correctly. Recipe for disaster, all-around.
I agree 💯. I think it's important that we address discourse when it happens instead of sweeping it under the rug and I feel like the comment section of this video handled it correctly. We have INTJs and INTPs both express our admiration towards each other and even insights as to why the reddit responses are the way they are. I also refuse to ignore accountability. The INTP subreddit might be younger unhealthy INTPs but where are the healthy INTPs regulating?
@@justcallmejon22 I'm not sure what, exactly, you mean by 'regulating' in this context but assuming you meant something closer to 'congregating', it's hard to say. I don't necessarily speak for all INTPs but I think that we tend not to like to commit to specific communities, they tend to come with rules that are somewhat arbitrary and tend to become echo chambers over time as the culture and rules further define each other. So I'm not sure I could point to any one place as being the 'INTP' place, where you'd find healthier, more mature INTPs, specifically, as we tend not to like rules or power dynamics or rigid thought or being 'one thing' at a time. In my mind, a 'healthy' INTP is probably just wandering from place to place, experiencing things (probably also just online less, in general), so less likely to group up other than to, perhaps, do a bit of memeing. I'd like to think that most of the popular MBTI channels attract a disproportionate amount of INTPs to the comments (owing perhaps to our fascination with systems and psychology), and I do think that most of the comments I find from INTPs on those channels are better representatives of the type than any subreddit would be but, as I said in somewhat different words before, I think MBTI channels also tend to attract (and often even encourage) some troubling mindsets surrounding type, so of course you'll still find those kinds of people in the comments too. I suspect that INTPs probably exhibit a strong out-group preference, so would be less likely to want to only be around people that are very similar to them. Perhaps this is less-so in less healthy INTPs (or people who simply want to be seen as INTPs; there does seem to be somewhat of a fetishization of the type online). Just some thoughts though, no definitive answers to be found, imo.
I am an INTP... While i don't use reddit but i pass judgmental comments to my INTJ friends a lot! But just for fun and to trigger them and I'm pretty sure most of them did the same. I can see most of them are pretty chill about INTJs and don't mean what they are saying but I agree, few INTPs are showing stubborn enemosity towards INTJs.
INTJs usually appreciate the blunt honesty if there's no malicious intent and if we can learn from it so it sounds like you're doing something right with your INTJs 🙂
As an INTP I think both types think they are right INTP'S are just as black and white thinking and just as cold since we have Fe on the bottom I think deep down we as INTP'S can't live without INTJ'S both have good things to offer intellectually I would have to say that the comments that the INTP'S made the negative ones obviously don't represent healthy INTP'S . As an INTP I hate drama and I think I speak on behalf of healthy INTP'S we are not that way we don't like stirring the pot .
Thank you for commenting for INTPs! What are you thoughts on some of the comments below saying that the responses in the INTP subreddit could be INTPs trolling? What are you thoughts? Does it sound like INTPs trolling because some of the comments seems a bit malicious so maybe I just don't understand the joke.
Probably because our Fi child comes out as a bully or immature to their Fi demon. Also their Ti bluntness triggers our Ti critic on logic, and when asking Te questions for data, triggers their Te nemesis (which is there to protect the Hero Ti ), making them think we doubt their logic and sense of self. Yea, I am Fed up of tip toeing around them. The only way we can work together is turn to our subconscious, ESFP and ESFJ respectively. Where the Hero function of each of our subconscious types takes care of the other's child, and the parent function takes care of the other's inferior function. But we don't live in an ideal world, do we? So that's a struggle. Reddit is a place where you get the shadow focused INTPs who act like unhealthy ENTJs our nightmare. I hope this makes sense. It should hahaha
I can see your angle and I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole debacle. I still think it's fascinating that we're hated so much by a type that we admire 🙃
@@justcallmejon22 I get you! It can be very infuriating. The only way to know if they like you, is when they info dump, cause apparently sharing information about everything is their love language.
my dad is an intp, we rarely talk but when we do its hard to stop lol ive always admire his curiosity for everything and that he always has answers to all my questions. but sadly enough we never connect emotionally especially as father daughter. but i still respect him as my father
I've heard a few times that INTP fathers tend not to open up emotionally to their children. It sounds like a great relationship still in the intellectual realm so I'm happy for you 🙂
This Reddit post is sort of consistent with the 2 intps in my friend circle. First of all, they probably won’t think of it as being judgemental. After all, it is the truth. and you asked for it. Now, my assessment of why the rivalry (in case it) exists. Intps are very smart but they don’t have the list of achievements compared to an intj. From an external pov, intxs look similar, and possibly are compared with each other. If you are equally / more intelligent than another, yet they seem to be greater achievers, a bit of negativity does creep in. Though I have noticed most intps are pretty calm and collected about their apparent lack of trophies. I wouldn't be able to keep my calm in the face of the general amount of criticism they can withstand. [ 🤩🤩 ++PUPPY EYES].
I have a feeling KimYongYul is not an INTP but maybe more ENTP or others. The way it is written it seems to be on the perspective of an INTP/INTJ outsider who has a bias towards INTP. If he is an INTP, he is probably an immature one and also kinda of narcisstic. A matured INTP would not make such comment.
Classic for intj to be clueless. As intj, I had no idea there was a beef. 😂 of course it’s so true the saying “ I don’t think about you” is classic for intj. but also, i don't think this type competes at all. i compete with myself and my issues. other people's issues are the least of my concerns.
Damn. I'm a redditor but somehow missed this drama. As an INTP, I can be very judgmental and stubborn about my beliefs or theories, way more than my INTJ roommate. The stereotypes that Ti-Ne is always open-minded and Ni-Te is arrogant are not quite accurate. Given enough facts and data, INTJs will change their opinions in favor of the supporting evidence, while my stubborn Ti dom will disregard it. INTJs and INTPs usually make great friends or coworkers, given that both are introverted intuitive thinkers. Of course, all people are different, but judging one person based on their MBTI or a whole type group based on singular encounter is an incorrect mindset to anything. I'd add that most redditors there are mistyped or young and immature. I'd argue that that comment on the INTP subreddit was meant to be joking, but the comments underneath it became toxic. The first comment does capture some stereotypes in INTP and INTJ dynamics. So, I see that the problem might be with the brutal phrasing? I once made a joking post that offend people (my ENTP bros), yet I had no intention of hurting their feelings. Some ENTPs took my joke with laughter, but I did panic and apologized for my oversight. The rivalry is a myth. It's just interpersonal conflicts, as I see most redditors judging a group of types based on a single personal experience. Personally, I value my INTJs because they can understand me like no one else, while I crave to understand their Ni. Ni Dom people have something fascinating and mysterious that most of the time can't be explained by tangible words. We just click. The more I try to dissect their Ni, the harder the puzzle becomes.
INTJ - I only use Reddit for 🌽 so this is strange news. About as strange as what I just said. My mother is INTP and I admire her a great deal and we have a great relationship and we show each other respect by not talking to each other for months 😂. Whatever the issue is with these indeviduals, it seems to be a them problem.
I think those negative comments are coming from those who are trolling so unhealthy INTP'S and yes those comments are malicious but INTJ'S have thick skin and are immune to this drama .
@@justcallmejon22 Yeah your not a robot you do have feelings people seem to think INTJ'S are cold robots which is not true it takes patience to get through the armorer.
Im pretty sure this can be summed up as people being terminally online in a group getting caught up in a mob mentality. I mean. They're all redditors (no offense)
Well.. I met some INTJs with supriority issues. Where the INTP keeps an open-mind. But this is abit unfair to just focus on it because INTJ have advantages the INTP doesn't. They both are imperfect but they can make perfect together. P.S. I some tests say I am an INTJ, some say I am an INTP. I think the later is more accurate. But it just proves how the difference can be loose and the personality system isn't perfect. No sense to make "them vs us"
Observations of 1 singular INTJ/P are not representative of the entire population of those with that personality. Larger data sets would be more representative. It is also important to note that people can have different degrees of INTJ/P-ness; however, the MBTI label does not reflect that.
@@ceilingfun2182 yep, that's why I'm askin what are you? I wanna know who sees us as someone that "have everything they want". It feels good to be loved so👾👾 I don't use phone or the youtube app for this, so I have no idea what your latest comment is.
Watched the whole video aaaand... well I kind of agree with all of their critisms, but I dont get why do they have to focus some much on the negatives. Nobody's perfect and it's not like INTPs dont have flaws too, but I personally just dont care. I dont care about the "rivalry", I dont care about the INTP flaws most of the time and I dont care about them criticising INTJs. Hell yea I'm flawed, I try to be better but I'm never going to be perfect (and I know exactly how it looks like). At this point I just wanna know if there's something about INTJs specifically that triggers them or do they react that way to other types too? :D
That last sentence is what I'm hoping a wild INTP will help answer. Is there something specific that us INTJs are missing that specifically triggers the INTPs? There's the side of me who doesn't really care but there's the other side of me that's genuinely curious whether INTJs are messing up in our friendship some how.
INTJ Female dating an INTP Male. We are pretty compatible. But I'm more practical and he's more nerdy (dnd, 3d printers, gaming, movies, all of it). I think we balance each other out. He's fascinating to me. I see that he adores me but I don't know if he sees my intellect since I'm more strategic, love philosophy and theory vs him just knowing random facts lol. Wel also talked about if I were a cashier instead of an IT professional would that matter and he said he's more drawn to the connection and loyalty rather than the status or $ contribution. But we're 38 so we're in a different phase from when people are in their early 20s or mid 20s.
in all the honesty, I was called "the most boring f%^ker I've ever met" by someone whose ego I destroyed completely with facts and logic. I don't mind being a bit boring but having my s%&t together than being non boring and going with the flow that won't do any good. They just see the external me, they don't know about a rich world of imagination that I've built up over the years (yes you heard that right, over the years) that keeps me content and thus I don't feel the need to watch movies or shows which tbh are quite exhausting. Not to mention all this stimulation is very unnatural and drops our dopamine levels to a considerable extent. I'd rather have a boring (but productive) life than have all the fun from something external.
The rivalry could be explained by Elon Musk (INTP) and Mark Zuckerberg (INTJ) almost going at it in an MMA fight. That'd be a funny match to watch, with Mark easily coming out victorious. Elon has no Se, and doesn't train. Anyway, this could explain it a bit.
Honestly I have no idea about Elon’s type but- in his interview with Don Lemon, I saw INTJ laser scanning calculating, the Te eyes, the Fi millisecond expression… I saw everything he saw wrong in Don Lemon “the victim”
INTP here- somebody is playing mind games. INTPs are very chill, lazy or even disinterested at times. Apathy is something we have to battle against. So how can INtPs care enough about this “conflict” to be real. Even if it was started by an unhealthy or upset person, I see little nuance, and little “it depends,” “sort of,” “whatever” type of language used to indicate an actual “conflict” taking place. OP- someone is getting trolled here! lol.
@@justcallmejon22 data might not lie, but if it’s incomplete it gives bad results. Input determines output. The output you are seeing is because of the input you are seeing. Seems fishy. Good luck.
I'll try to use my Fe/Ti here. Fi is INTPs Demon function. It's most likely that they have the hardest time understanding their emotions which is a major key function to understanding themselves better. We recognize the good and the bad in others conciously/subconsciously and project onto others what our ego cannot handle. I believe what you're seeing is a bunch of highly Turbulant INTPs who hasn't developed their Fi therefore seeing the infiority/superiority complex. The statement that is made that, "INTP is better then INTJ" is as silly & subjective as, "French food is better then Italian Food". Bunch of nonsense
We have the same problem: we both speak our mind. But they are the only ones who care of what other think of them (because of Fe) and so the only one who could get offended by the other type. Maybe it's simply rancor. Why should it be envy? They're much better than us, their mind is a monument to intelligence.
I guess what would the ranchor be and where does it stem from? I feel like INTJs treat INTPs really well (generally) so I'm just confused about the hostility towards us.
@@justcallmejon22 First of all, I really love your content-thank you for it! It really makes me feel less alone. About the issue: I think that when we speak our mind, we sometimes share personal critiques. I speak for myself, but maybe also for a lot of INTJs: personal critiques are valuable to me. They sting, obviously, but if done correctly, they help me grow and give me a new perspective on myself. Now, imagine yourself as an INTP. What gets you really frustrated isn't the weird whiteness of a LED light or an incredibly high-pitched whistle that makes your mind explode. As an INTJ, Se in the fourth position can be challenging, but for an INTP, it's Fe. So, everything that makes you feel unaccepted is simply unbearable. And what's worse than critiques? So the point is: I absolutely hate awful lights and weird whistles. Why shouldn't INTPs hate critiques and those who make them? I'm sure that when INTJs try to help INTPs, they are not aware of the discomfort they create for INTPs. However, it may be difficult for an INTP to understand that: Ni is too low, and Fe is a trigger-function. I worry they don't have the skills to fully understand a different point of view... INTPs will hate me so much for having written this 😅😓
My brother and my cousin(she) are pretty cool. I don't engage with them a lot but i love when I do. They make me feel appreciated and less weird. I find them smart but undisciplined (annoying cause it's a waste😑). @@justcallmejon22 Because of the difference between immature FI and FE. Immature FI tends to struggle with empathy and emotional intelligence, while immature FE tends to blame the external world for their emotional state. Immature FIs are "cold" or "robotic", they ignore the emotions of others and themselves. However, immature FEs feel like their emotions are an external force being placed on them and will overattribute emotional content. Basically, FI won't realize that FE is having an emotional reaction, and FE will blame FI for their emotional reaction. FI doesn't perceive a conflict, while FE perceives it everywhere. As they mature, this fades away. However, in both instances their emotional intelligence lags behind cognitive intelligence, meaning they won't become emotionally mature until they're in their 30s. I'm an INTJ whose scores put me at the farther end of the spectrum, sometimes I'm a walking stereotype. lol. The problems with immature FI caused me a lot of issues in my young adult life, though this has drastically improved throughout my early and mid-30s.

He compared me to Wednesday Adams, which I didn’t even know about. He “forced” me to watch at least ONE episode and… 💀 I was like wait a minute… 🙃
But yes, Fi development is key.
You explained it really well and I agree, there is no rivalry. We have no qualms with INTPs only love and respect ✊
Proficient Fe users can make you start hating someone throughout the weeks without you even noticing how that came about.)
Edit: Oh, I see that you mention the Fe thing later.
(By the same token, the xxFJ's will fall the easiest for Te tricks)(Not that I endorse such things, it was just classic friend group politics)
While INTP's weak but valued Fe wants to do the same, but can't, so they are stuck in the middle, seeing all the social politics, but when they try to bring down someone else's status to raise up themselves, they do it in a clumsy way and openly criticize, and that is not a good look. Unlike doing it below the radar like high Fe.
I think the most important thing to remember here is that not everyone on the INTJ/INTP subreddits are actually the type they are, including the people they are talking about. Mistypes are so common, especially on r/intj
Agreed ✊
I agree.
I love the discussions we have and the fact that we both can hold a very in depth conversation (as long as the battery isn't drained.)
Both of us are ND as well.
Marrying an INTP sounds like it'll be a great and healthy relationship. I hope you two the best ❤
Someone "goofy" calling me "boring" - shrugs 🤷🏾♀️
I agree that they make our lives better 💯
I like INTPs. They're a whole different perspective of being a nerd, and different pespective is always something I've appreciated a lot.
I don't see the similarity between this video or the comment section of this video and the comments left in the INTP subreddit.
INTP & INTJ, complete each other professionaly
The fact that INTPs are lashing out at us, it just shows they are the ones too emotional, and takes things too personal even though we do nothing but give them their space😂
It's so sad 😭
As an INTP I am more emotional than an INTJ. But I could care less
Infj: It's not really a rivalry
it's that you guys are so similar that it comes down to one difference, which is a line in the sand that could divide you in a social setting as 2 distinct groups because as 2 distinct groups, you're so similar... right up to the point of where that line is drawn That your differences finally become apparent.
I agree with everything you said. I'm hoping that most of the negative comments were from younger INTPs or us INTJs have some reflecting to do 😅
Having a second date with an INTP today. Just about every INTP I've met has been awesome
How did the date go?
Pretty great. I think it helps that he has a degree in counseling so he's very open minded and smart. He says he didn't know I was interested and I joked that I had to make sure he would fit into my 20 year plan.😂😂😂
Appreciate you so much Jon!
Thank you 🙏
@adrianh5925
True, except the nerve to call us boring.
Aspects along the lines such as:
"You said this, so you can't be this type";
"This type is [opinion] and should [action]";
Various arguments on what cognitive functions actually do, which either means the people saying this have no knowledge or the theory is flawed;
Or various type of responses of slander or accusations without attempting to explain.
-fellow infj
XDD
I'm an intj with an intp bestie who's my favourite person on earth, and our dms go exactly as the subreddits do: I dump my thoughts to her; she dissects it with questions; I try to explain; we have a debate over the whys and the hows of my thought patterns.
So anyway..."
I personally have never had any beef with an INTP that I've encountered.
@@QMS9224 lol, facts
6 years is a long time to take care of someone financially. You're a rockstar for that ✊
Me, an INTJ -“who??”
Bro is back!
💃
6:33 🤯
Yeah they always act on their emotion very hard
My opinion on intps:
When they have abstract conversations with people, they sound really cool and smart when they say stuff.
Back to childhood; sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. Be happy
Names hurt when it feels more like a betrayal 😭😭
@@justcallmejon22 - when young, words can hurt a lot. But as we come into our own, we are more able to absorb the darts with less damage. We are also able to find a response that strikes a tender spot.😏
As an example, when I and my new husband went to a (casual) company function of his, one of his buddies commented, concerning me, ‘I always thought C. was a tit man (meaning that my own mammary protuberances were of modest dimensions [which I knew]).
@@justcallmejon22 you actually reply to all your comments, that's determination. Hope you'll get more reactions from INTPs :)

Sounds like I fell for the trap 😭
I agree with this too much😂
I wonder if the rivalry is just the battle of wits gone wrong. I don’t know if INTPs care about competing in other ways. I think NTPs like friendly debates, but I can imagine an immature/unhealthy INTP getting upset if it goes too far and then being resentful about it.
I agree that INTJ’s rarely feel envy. I had never thought about it but that’s never an emotion I experience
It's always odd when I say it out loud because it makes us sound even more edgelord 😭

I'm still trying to understand them 😅
On the other hand, I notice that their being patient with me with things that I do that they don't like. On what things, I'm still trying to process that. I don't want to ask yet. I have other priorities atm. But one day, I'll have the emotional capacity to just ask the things I do that bothers them.
This is based on my experience. Anybody can have different experiences.
If you ever decide to ask, you should let us know so that we don't fall into the same trap 🙏
just recently i chatted with someone and they told me they're intps - & my first reaction was " oh i love intps!
@@justcallmejon22 oh they must be shy 🌝
@@justcallmejon22 Good to hear that! I'm sure my friends wouldn't agree with you but who cares 🌝🌝
Criticism on our achievements are fighting words for an INTJ 🙃
I have a feeling KimYongYul is not an INTP but maybe more ENTP or others. The way it is written it seems to be on the perspective of an INTP/INTJ outsider who has a bias towards INTP. If he is an INTP, he is probably an immature one and also kinda of narcisstic. A matured INTP would not make such comment.
I don't know man, a lot of the comments were along the same vein. Us INTJs might be missing something 😭
Classic for intj to be clueless. As intj, I had no idea there was a beef. 😂 of course it’s so true the saying “ I don’t think about you” is classic for intj. but also, i don't think this type competes at all. i compete with myself and my issues. other people's issues are the least of my concerns.
Don't tell that to an INTP, it seems to be a source of trigger for some of them 😂
How you feel about Ni is how I feel about Ti ❤
INTJ - I only use Reddit for 🌽 so this is strange news. About as strange as what I just said. My mother is INTP and I admire her a great deal and we have a great relationship and we show each other respect by not talking to each other for months 😂. Whatever the issue is with these indeviduals, it seems to be a them problem.
I've noticed a trend of INTJs with INTP parents 😅
I love you both…( INFJ) ❤️
Same ❤
I think those negative comments are coming from those who are trolling so unhealthy INTP'S and yes those comments are malicious but INTJ'S have thick skin and are immune to this drama .
It still stings because it feels like betrayal from a partner 😭
@@justcallmejon22 Yeah your not a robot you do have feelings people seem to think INTJ'S are cold robots which is not true it takes patience to get through the armorer.
Im pretty sure this can be summed up as people being terminally online in a group getting caught up in a mob mentality. I mean. They're all redditors (no offense)
Maybe, but I don't want to dismiss it completely because there might be a truth that we're missing 🙃
No sense to make "them vs us"
That's the point of this video! There is no us vs them because we don't care 😂
I’m know an INTP who is argumentative as hell.
I do as well but I think that's more of a personal thing than a type thing because I know argumentative people of each type😅
define "argumentative"? Asking questions to better learn and understand and not simply do what you tell them? or just go against anything?
Observations of 1 singular INTJ/P are not representative of the entire population of those with that personality. Larger data sets would be more representative. It is also important to note that people can have different degrees of INTJ/P-ness; however, the MBTI label does not reflect that.
Yup, but this data set is just as valid unless proven otherwise 😥
I love Intj you guys have everything I want
😁

@@hidum5779 This will be your homework.
I am an intp who just got rejected by an intj...
You probably didnt fit into their 50 year old plan because you know, their Ni told them so
INTJ Female dating an INTP Male.
Congrats on the relationship! The mental connection is top-tier for sure so I'm hoping the best for you two ❤
@@justcallmejon22 thank you! Hope you find the same!
in all the honesty, I was called "the most boring f%^ker I've ever met" by someone whose ego I destroyed completely with facts and logic.
Keep living the life that brings the most joy ✊
OP- someone is getting trolled here! lol.
I want to believe that but look at the amount of response that aligns with the hatred. The data doesn't lie 😥
There's a huge difference between a healthy and unhealthy person of a type. It's so interesting to hear both sides so I appreciate the comment!
INTPs will hate me so much for having written this 😅😓
If we would care about what others think about us, we wouldn't be Diogenes.
@@AimeeVignes Could you explain how Fe works for you?

No saves but it seems like the comment section is still there to be read. The opening question is the same as the one on the INTJ subreddit 😁
My brother and my cousin(she) are pretty cool. I don't engage with them a lot but i love when I do. They make me feel appreciated and less weird.
I find them smart but undisciplined (annoying cause it's a waste😑). They are more social, outgoing and less introverted than me.

INTPs are cute, good colleagues and good friends in nerddom. I listened to some INTP`s rant video about us INTJs some time ago (wth are "cum demons"?) and I have not laughed so much in weeks. As for us not having jealousy that is interesting as I used to have a little bit, but decided it was useless so I meditated it away over 20 years ago ;)
INTPs are funny! I'm not sure what happened in this subreddit but it seemed more like a personal attack than a troll which is why I'm pretty sad about it 😭
@@justcallmejon22 INTPs try their hand at hurtful attacks or manipulation now and then I have noticed, more to observe the effect than for any goal it seems, which is why there is no real reason to get upset about it 😉 I think Frank James even commented on it in his "spilling the tea on the 16" video - trying to be "bad" but hurting themselves more lol. Maybe that is a reason why we like them, they seldom if ever cause any REAL drama🐶. I think the only time an INTP pissed me off is when he held up a project when delaying a decision.. kept exploring possibilities and all that.💢
Can u pls make a video about how can an INTJ strengthen thier inferior function SE??

Ps. But i personally think... cough* cough* HAVING A "J" IS A LOT BETTER THAN HAVING A "P"

@@chellymarie03 ah the brain with multiple tangents yes
Immature FI versus immature FE, there isn't an issue. It's people who haven't learned to manage their tertiary functions.
But why is it so one sided?!
