Malgax seemed like such a sick idea. He would have been a fantastic final villain for Ben 10. Having two of Ben most terrifying villains as one soul is crazy powerful.
@@ElectricDog10If season 9 did happen he would've returned. I mean space roadtrip malware stuck in space? Maybe malware would turn into more of a tech like symbiote. He could fuse with people and regain a proper conscious.
To Verdona's credit, Anodites live for ungodly lengths of time, measuring 80 years as only a brief training session. To her, showing up once a year is extremely frequent.
Indeed. That road trip for arc nine, and in my headcanon, Vilgax taking over the earth with the original Negative 10 while Ben was away for number 10. Would've been awesome.
I remember that ending bright as day. I honestly thought it was a cute call back to the beginning. Was it ever confirmed it was actually a teaser? Also why didn't we get the road trip.
To be honest, I can imagine Gwen turning down Ben's offer of Road Trip and hanging up the call. Throughout Omniverse we always see her angry with a frown every time Ben gets into her university.
The GhostFreak plotline Does get followed up on in Omniverse. Ben was very hesitant to use him, fearing Zskayr will take him over again, but when he transforms Ghostfreak is in chains, implying either Azmuth or the Omnitrix itself fixed the problem
@@christianvondruska8244 that confused me ben was obviously hesitant to use him in OV but he used him in UA seemingly without hesitation and it made me wonder does the evil ghostfreak exist in the ultimatrix? Why did ben go him given his scary experience with him in classic? And did he feel himself or did he feel the evil one's presence?
Bens pink eyes might've been them hinting at Ben getting anodite powers which is something they've hinted at a couple times (with Ben 10k) but probably dropped to prevent Gwen from being seen as less useful or redundant
I mean, Gwen could still teach Ben how to use his powers, and I'm sure Gwen would still be more proficient with them anyways since she doesn't have the Omnitrix to rely on, although I wonder if Ben could still use his anodite powers while transformed, would be sick
For me, It seems as the idea of the Ultimatrix doing something to Ben himself do to being a creation of Albedo. Like, pushing his own evolution every time he goes Ultimate.
I think another dropped plotline would be in Omniverse at the end of An American Benwolf in London where we see Joseph Chadwick taking the Red Knight and escaping from the Thames River. We never see the Forever Knights ever again
I'd like to thing that they just gone in canon and live their lives, considering that Chadwick and Red Knight basically only remains of Forever Knights, they don't seem a threat a now, almost all of them died during Dagon arc But yeah technically it's also a dropped plotline
The DNAlien thing is actually foreshadowed earlier on. At the VERY BEGINNING of Alien Force, like the first scene of the Highbreed talking to a DNAlien, you can tell that the DNAlien has Max’s voice. I think the implication is that Max went undercover as a DNAlien. But that was never fully explored.
I like to think that the Highbreed sent a DNAlien disguised as Max to attempt to keep Ben out of the fight. (saying he has the Omnitrix, not to worry, and the stilted, almost artificial voice.)
I like to think the Limax never returned cause the writers had trouble figuring out how they would pose any kind of threat considering that ben has access to waterhazard now.
That would have been a really funny UA episode starter. -the episode opens with an army of Limax making their way across the screen, when all of a sudden a jet of water wipes them all out. -the scene cuts to a very bored looking water hazard spraying them down like he's watering a field, casually conversing with Gwen about how they used to be a threat.
They’re kinda generic as well. The series has at least 2 other episodes that are basically the same alien kidnaps people puts them in a pod and replaces them
When I was a kid I thought the UA episode with the Alien Plant that Clones Ben, Gwen, and Kevin was about the return of the Limax. And looking back, it probably should've been.
Oh dang, that’s actually a pretty good idea and would’ve been a lot better since they get to call back to an OG villain Plus they already gave them a weakness to peanuts (I like to imagine it’s the salt and not the nuts since that makes a lot more sense), they could’ve just replaced that with water or other liquids
@@toyohimeyeswatatsuki6917 That too! Could be seeking revenge after what happened And I think I also suggested in another comment that they also might’ve found a way to protect themselves from water, which would make sense given that they’ve had several years to plan at this point In fact, they could’ve also used this time to study Ben and his team, but they probably didn’t look into Jimmy or see him as a threat (until he started investigating anyways), which would’ve lead to their undoing
There's also the entire bit about the Ultimates being their own people after leaving the watch, that never ended up happening, and we never saw them again
The closest we got was Ultimare Humongasaur’s helmet being on Khyber’s ship, but I think the creator’s said it’s just a normal Vaxxasaurian helmet However I still wonder what became of them When I first saw the episode I thought they were taken to their respective species’ homeworlds, which would’ve been pretty interesting (like imagine if instead of Mizaru we had Ultimate Spider Monkey), but especially considering Cannonbolt’s homeworld was destroyed which made me wonder where his ultimate would/could go
I woudlve LOVED to see the universal roadtrip, seems like the perfect way to explore alien planets, expand Ben's trasnformations and just sounds really fun in general. It would've also made the show come full circle. Started with a roadtrip, ended with a roadtrip
I was going to say that ben already has all the transformations in the milky way galaxy (and 5 on andromeda) but then I realized they were going to the universe that ben created
@@rottenrevival1370 I'm pretty sure the universe that Ben helped save in the season 8 was the one that was destroyed in season 1, so they're going on a trip around their own universe if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, maybe they could've gone to andromeda
Two options come to mind for the canon reasons why so many of these plots and villains don't return: 1 - Ben dealt with them offscreen, as we've often seen the gang have adventures between episodes. 2 - The villains saw how powerful Ben and his team became and immediately went "Nope, I'm out" and went to live a peaceful life
I imagine the last one happened to a few villains. It would've been hilarious to see Elena return in OV, and see how strong Ben was now and go "... Maybe I hate being defeated more than I hate Ben." And left
The latter could’ve been what happened to Sssserpent Ben said he was probably miles away and we never saw him again, so presumably he could’ve to go somewhere he wouldn’t have to deal with Ben
The Ben getting scared of his Ultimates "The Ultimate Sacrifice" was an awesome episode but a whole arc about it would be great especially with the Dagon war having many filler episodes which could have been avoided
While we don't actually know their ultimate fate, Vilgax is never stated to have killed Ultimos or the Galactic Enforcers, only defeated them in accordance with the Conqueror's Challenge and siphoned away Ultimos's powers for himself. And if memory serves, Ultimos survived into the original Ben 10,000 timeline, so it's very possible that he survived his encounter with Vilgax in Alien Force or was brought back following one of the universal resets.
Hay quienes dicen que el episodio no canon de regreso a casa ocurre en el mismo universo que el de ben 10000 original y que en ese encuentro vilgax murió para siempre
@@fennekin1750 Yes, but there was no dramatic irony at the time; up until Max was shown still alive in the Null Void, he was dead for all intents and purposes and could have remained so if he hadn't been written back into the story.
One of the worst dropped plotlines was Lieutenant Steel's. He was such a cool character that was begging to show up again, but never did, at least not truly as himself.
@@chinuaalibatya7345 His cameo was fine, thats not the problem, the problem is the lack of care for the character. He should've appeared in more episodes in OV, and/or even UAF with a more substantial role, not just a _singular_ cameo. I'm not saying he should've been a major character, just have a more substantial role besides one cameo.
Another drop plotline is when kuro promised us that other members will be making videos and that the breakdowns will stop taking over the challenge like a year ago, I'm happy we can pick the dropped line now
Calling the Galactic enforcers in a potential revised Ben10 vs Negative 10 episode would be PRIME TIME. That would make for an incredible finale similarly to war of worlds in alien force. Also love that the rest of the crew are hosting videos now its a new inktank flavor that I love👽

I think Ben being afraid of his Ultimate alien forms is due to them becoming sentient and attacking Ben. So, it was not dropped but maybe changed a bit from how they initially wanted to execute it.
Yeah the comments Dwayne made on site his site back in the days seemed to teased the idea basically doing their own version of the black symbiote arc from Spider-Man.
@@JohnWilliams-wl9px Why would they drop that idea? It's cooler if by being ultimate he has to face consequences, if not it doesn't make sense he didn't go ultimate everytime.
@@PPrexor-qk9vq starting in AF season 3 onwards a lot of ideas that the writers had were dropped, because the network didn’t like them. Kevin turning evil was actually a plan for for season 3 of AF when he got mutanted, but they reused the idea proper in UA

@@PPrexor-qk9vq who knows maybe the original idea for the arc that Ben ‘turns evil’ after beating Agregor. Thus Kevin using his powers to become Kevin 11 again to fight Ben, but Kevin is still sane. Effectively turning the Ben vs Kevin dynamic on its head. Kevin wants Ben to come back to earth, and ‘evil Ben’ wants to kill Kevin. If that was the case I can see why it got change because the network wouldn’t like to see a multi-episode arc of their top selling hero be a villain.
When Zs'Skayr was resampled by the Omnitrix, there should have been a follow-up episode where Ben was afraid to go hero because it could risk Zs'Skayr getting loose.
I would've loved the universe roadtrip plot line to be real. Ben, Rook, Kevin, and Gwen already work so well together, so just imagine an entire season with them all together.

@@mayotango1317 No, I'd imagine Gwendolyn would be open abt it. The only potential problem would be her schoolwork. It only depends on what time of the year the Roadtrip would be. @@fennekin1750 Frankly, I think Gwen only went to college to get away from the weirdness magnet that is Ben (No wonder OV Ben is almost a social pariah because of that) and to have some normality in her life and some intimacy with Kevin. It makes sense if you watch her episodes in Omniverse.
@@mayotango1317 I did say that she was alot calmer outside of school, so I think she would at the very least consider it. & yes, I think she did go to college for more normality in her life, as well as the bigger reason, y'know, education. Hearing that the Negative 10 would have returned but as evil versions of some of Ben’s aliens sounds like something I wish we saw since I wonder which aliens we could have seen. It could have even tied back into that Malware returning tease with him as one.
The plumbers helpers training was finished in “above and beyond” that was their final exercise and then they were able to go to plumbers academy because of it
It’s been like so many years, since, there’s ever been a new Ben 10, what’s even taking so long for Duncan and the Man of Action crew to come with an idea for a new series, I feel like you guys should do another interview with him, to talk about it.
It’s not about getting ideas, I’m sure they have them. It can take years to pitch, get greenlit, develop, write and animate a series, especially a toy-driven one like Ben 10. Not helping matters is Warner Bros destroying itself from the inside rn. You gotta give it time.
Ideas aint the problem. Its networks and budgets. Young justice is/was a popular show and has been dropped twice by the network because of poor toy sales
Atomix is probably the most mysterious alien, we never knew anything about him, although I saw a video by Kirigiri_Kirin, which explains what Atomix really is, rather than a Prypiatosian-A, I love to think that maybe the Omni-Trix symbol on his chest is supposed to show that he’s a Machine God of the Galvans.
I think a lot of these happen, because the writers want to leave the door open IN CASE they want to bring Verdona back or in case they get a new season and want to bring Malware back. Or even in case a new series gets made, so they have an excuse to bring a villain back. They're meant to be non-committal. Also, having a scene at the end of a movie or an episode, where it's shown that the horror villain survived, isn't always a set-up for a sequel, but simply this little cute touch, to make sure the audience gets a good scare at the end, or are left with this "the villain could be still out there, right outside my window" feeling. I think that was the case with the lymax.
Verdona probably got dropped because they undid the retcon. Verdona was meant to explain that Gwen's magical powers weren't really magic, but inherited alien powers. But then magic got retconned again back into being its own thing unrelated to aliens, so Verdona became an unnecessary character.
The Time War using previous episodes as settings would fit the concept of exploring past series continuity as well as having a Trials and Tribbleations vibe where OV Ben needs to work with or avoid his previous self and allies while keeping his own history on course. Retroactively giving some of these loose ends closure through the set up too.
Ultimos and his team have so much Potential and maybe help ben in AF and UA in case of backup It's heartbreaking they just died like that against Vilgax
I wanted more Verdona, see the dragon world, Ben tapping into his Anodite self, more Plumbers kids action screentime, have another Ben Rex team up with maybe Zak added too, GOD SO MUCH LOST POTENTIAL!
I feel like they should have followed up with Malware's remains being still alive, since Malware's first death was so Impactful that if he came back things would feel super intense
I remember reading a theory a while ago that Maltruant was actually a normal Chronosapian that was possessed by Malware and he's the true cause for the Time War. What better way to end a show by having Ben once again defeat the first villain seen in the show?
Yeah, Generator Rex had a follow-up in comics for Heroes United where Rex was in Ben's world, but would've been better to see that possibility in animation somehow, considering how Ben has nanites in him that also aren't brought up ever and also how the crossover affects stuff in Rex's world like the Bug Jar moving forward. Would've been cooler than Rex's take on the Negative 10, that's for sure.
Like Kuro said they could’ve done a plot like the nanites are effecting people in ben’s world while Ben is also being effected with his aliens taking on more alien and mutated forms and they would bring Rex to help save their world and ben
Got to admit, a follow-up to Heroes United in Omniverse similar to TGIS would have been a great idea, especially as Generator Rex had an open ending and no sequel series. Also, the fact Alpha and Malware were so similar in concept(absorbing technology and destroying it) may have led to something, maybe Malware somehow ends in the Null Void and absorbs Alpha, becoming a mix of Galvanic Mecomorph and EVO.
The omniverse road trip being the final arc could have been the best way to end Ben 10 series. Just like how it's started with the start of a random summer vacation let it finish with the end of a new summer vacation road trip.
I've been waiting for a video like this for a while. This has been something that's been going through my mind for a literal decades. All the story potential in these dropped story lines
It sucks that some of these dont come back. It makes sense for some OS plotlines to never come back as they ARE on a roadtrip (rip the old people with the limax)
5:00 Elena does make a TINY cameo in OV's "The Most Dangerous Gameshow", and according to DJW she's been fully separated from the Nanochip Hive (offscreen) and isn't evil anymore. The OV comic "Parallel Paradox"- which actually does follow up on the UA episode- shows Elena in Plumber jail and still having powers, but also gets into some complicated time travel nonsense, so it's probably an alternate timeline or non-canon or something.
With the Limax, I think it might have been a case of the writers couldn't think of a reason for them not to raid the retirement village again after Ben, Gwen, and Max leave, and couldn't think of a way to have them show up without implying a bunch of eaten old people.
I think the Generator Rex crossover and Ssserpent were later revisited in comic form. Ssserpent was even the main antagonist of a miniseries taking place during Omniverse, but that was noncanon.
The negative 10 coming back as evil versions of the original 10 would be amazing as there's already some that fit the role. Kolar for four arms. Zs'Skayr as he is ghost freak. Melware for upgrade. Psyphon with his heatblast transformation. Albedo for gray matter and could give the fire back to Psyphon. That's 5 already introduced the first part of the season can be then getting the rest from super max prison.
I feel like Rath, Lodestar (obviously), Nanomech, Water Hazard, Terraspin, NRG, Ampfibian, and Armodrillo were part of that new Playlist. I counted the Andromeda five because of the close production period of the ending of AF and the beginning of UA. They probably weren't made to be from the Andromeda galaxy at first, too. The question is, who would be the last 2 aliens? My headcanon could be Rocks and Squidstrictor from the Power of the Omnitrix play because they were exclusively Alien Force aliens in that play, had art made for them in the show's artstyle and got toys made of them as well.
In my opinion, this state of the series is due to a simple reason. Most episodes of the Ben 10 series were written on an ad hoc basis and there was simply no thought about the series in terms of any strict plot. Individual stories were written and sometimes returned to.
I would have liked the Dragon plotline to be revived..... because Dragons. Also, it would give for an excuse for Ben to gain a Dragon transformation... which would be awesome by virtue of Dragons.
As much as I would have loved to see all of these, the Omniverse Roadtrip was needed the most in my eyes, as it would have been the much needed extra time to flesh out some final aspects for Omniverse. If I had to pick something else, whatever was up with the Ultimates would have been cool too. Get the Ultimatrix some much needed love.
I think the Time War happened sometime in the distant future, beyond the point when Maltruant made his Annihilarrg. If I remember correctly, restarting the Time War was his top priority after getting his key back
The Chronosapien Time War.What I imagined it is that the leader of the planet is the strongest member of his species, because the celestialsapiens wouldn't the chronosapiens to interrupt the balance of the universe. This is where Maltruant comes in.He starts a revolution against the strongest chronosapien,so he could get that power. This is the best I could think for the Time War.
I will always be think that ben 10's biggest mistake was to stay on the network rather than going to adult swim as the series matured because the network sometimes feels like a bigger villain than vilgax or eon
seems like these plot lines will NEVER be followed up on since the last series of the Classic continuity ended back in 2014. Maybe in the future one day we’ll get a sequel that follows from Omniverse.. who knows?
I really wanted the Grandpa Max DnAlien thing to come back, I had a theory at the time that they had taken over as Max to keep eye on Plumber movement. It would have been cool if it evolved into Max sending the team on dubious missions where they think they’re doing the right thing but they’re actually the bad guys and Ben and the team have to go against Max’s orders and it tears Ben up inside cause he feels like he’s betrayed Grandpa Max.
Out of all these dropped plot points, I think I wanna see them all be used tbh cus honestly I hate how unsatisfyingly abrubt these loose ends got dropped
4:23 there is an episode about the ultimate aliens that they have their own consciousness but it didn't effect him in any other way after before that episode-
Not a dropped plot line so much as a missed opportunity, but was I the only one who wanted to see Ben fight at least one more _Secret Saturdays_ villain? Even just a flashback battle with Piecemeal (because we all know that dude would've tried to chow down on some Omnitrix aliens), just acknowledge that those characters still exist. Heck, I'd've loved a mention of the UFOlogist character. Just have the two Galvan dudes talk about pranking him back before the world found out that aliens actually do exist.
The "King Viktor" plotline also got dropped, but nobody really cared about that one, plus Omniverse put in the effort of showing Zs'Skayr removing the king's soul from Dr. Viktor's body.
Bro imo, the reason for him being scared of the ultimates and for why he felt weird using them was explained in the episode where the ultimates were revealed to be alive.
The other questions that have not been, are what are the species origins of all of Ben's aliens, like Echo Echo, Armodrillo, Clockwork, Eatle, Gravattack, and many others, I really wish, we knew them better, a series like "Alien Home worlds" and "And Beyond", would have been a great new OFFICIAL Ben 10 series.
I would love a video discussing what potential episodes or plotlines could've come from these, especially the pink eyes thing since thats confirmed to have originally been something
I always hoped that Ben used new aliens when he had Master Control so they stay unlocked aside from Lodestar being unlocked at the end. Also, I theorised Toepick or Gravattack was one of the aliens Ben unlocked after the Highbreed War.
I wanted to see the Dragon arc and the Omniverse road trip realized. The dragons seemed like an interesting bunch of folks and would've given the Knights something to do other than be bodies for Ben to punch. The road trip would've been a nice way for the series to go full circle, starting and ending with a big road trip, with one on Earth as Ben was just learning aliens were real and one in space with Ben now a full Plumber and having a better understanding of aliens in general. A bonus with the latter could've been that Ben would've gotten to learn far more about his alien catalog and perhaps even gained a few fresh faces, like Spitter or Snakepit or something. Would've been a nice way to lean Ben closer to becoming Ben 10K.
I honestly really wanted Malgax to get a proper follow up and I sort of imagined him after losing his body he became like a Symbiote from Marvel. He could possess new hosts and continue to absorb tech and spread his corruption throughout the universe. You could also have Vilgaxia get renamed to Malgaxia and have him be a Ben 10K villain.
I remember reading a theory a while ago that Maltruant was actually a normal Chronosapian that was possessed by Malware and he's the true cause for the Time War. What better way to end a show by having Ben once again defeat the first villain seen in the show?
I thought the purple eyes plot was hastily wrapped up in an amazing episode. I believe it was called Sacrifice. The one where Ben gets sucked into the Ultamatrix
Another one thats worth mentioning is that weird scene on one of the firsts alien force episodes in which Ben gets hurt as Humungosaur and then continues to have that injury even in human form That seemed like a bigger deal but was never brought back
Something they could’ve done was combine the 2 red and black technopaths malware and alpha into one being and then had another crossover with Rex but this time in Ben’s dimension
There are other characters that I can think of as well, but the two “groups” of people that I remember from the series were ‘the vengers’ and ‘the road crew’. With the road crew we never see them again after the original series and we never see the vengers again after Billy’s second appearance in omniverse.
Maybe the glowing pink eyes were Ben’s spark starting to bloom, since he’s a quarter Anodite just like Gwen maybe he’s just a late bloomer. Maybe it’s sort of like puberty where female humans go through it sooner than males do and so the female Anodites will get their mana-manipulating abilities sooner than male Anodites.
Tbh, it kinda sucks that it was dropped, presumably due to wanting to keep the charactera destinct in their function. "The Ultimatrix's bugginess must have erroneously triggered your baseform's latent abilities" is a good hook for an episode or two. We also know that Ben is infact capable of learning magic because the one prior version of Ben 10000 was taught by Gwen iirc.
Ok, WHY exactly couldn't they have done a Forever Knights Dragon Planet episode in Season 3? They's already established a "once-a-season" structure to this arc which they could have easily stuck to.
Ben being afraid to go ultimate was relevant later on though, in the ultimate sacrifice. At the end of the show, it shows Ultimates are sentient and alive in the watch, which is why it changed Ben when he transforms
Every time I hear the English voice of Max Tennyson, I hear Eldred from Sacrifice. Now that one episode where Kevin appears for the first time allows for a cool mental image of an ancient Wizard telling Ben how the latter will have to work to regain the former's trust.
Elena and Ssserpent did return in the comic and both were captured but because Wyatt stated it's not canon, it makes Elena's cameo confusing as her design is based on her comic appearance. But i agreed, all these plotlines should've been explored instead of immediately giving it up. Given the flashback sequence in Omniverse, I'm shocked they didn't used it to use the dropped plotlines like the Limax, Z'Skyare and others. Not even a flashback between Alien Force and Ultimate Aliens.

The Dwayne McDuffie site's released scripts, which includes Fame, explicity confirm that the pink eyes were meant to be colored red, meaning that it was likely meant to foreshadow the Sentinet Ultimates or even perhaps something to do with Albedo, since the Ultimates were his creation, but alas, this wasn't the case. They might've changed plans and intended to do something with the pink eyes instead, since that seems so oddly specific to only be a coloring error, but whatever that was never came to be either.

It's something about the ultimates for sure
I think another dropped plotline would be in Omniverse at the end of An American Benwolf in London where we see Joseph Chadwick taking the Red Knight and escaping from the Thames River. We never see the Forever Knights ever again
You mean that pulling the sword out of pedestal episode?
@@DeepakKumar-fi4os
Exactly.
True I just thought of that!
I'd like to thing that they just gone in canon and live their lives, considering that Chadwick and Red Knight basically only remains of Forever Knights, they don't seem a threat a now, almost all of them died during Dagon arc
But yeah technically it's also a dropped plotline
You said they're mostly neutralized at that point@@aktivniigomes1989
The DNAlien thing is actually foreshadowed earlier on. At the VERY BEGINNING of Alien Force, like the first scene of the Highbreed talking to a DNAlien, you can tell that the DNAlien has Max’s voice.
I think the implication is that Max went undercover as a DNAlien. But that was never fully explored.
That might be what happened
That or that Max had been replaced by a DNAlien, which sounds more interesting imo
And that they live on elderly
The writers cooked too much?
They’re kinda generic as well. The series has at least 2 other episodes that are basically the same alien kidnaps people puts them in a pod and replaces them
I mean, just have something with the watch go wrong. Even tech can interfere. Worked for plenty of OS episodes.
When I was a kid I thought the UA episode with the Alien Plant that Clones Ben, Gwen, and Kevin was about the return of the Limax. And looking back, it probably should've been.
Oh dang, that’s actually a pretty good idea and would’ve been a lot better since they get to call back to an OG villain
Plus they already gave them a weakness to peanuts (I like to imagine it’s the salt and not the nuts since that makes a lot more sense), they could’ve just replaced that with water or other liquids
@@garg4531that would make sense too like Limax learn from their mistakes and goes for their biggest threats first
@@toyohimeyeswatatsuki6917 That too! Could be seeking revenge after what happened
And I think I also suggested in another comment that they also might’ve found a way to protect themselves from water, which would make sense given that they’ve had several years to plan at this point
In fact, they could’ve also used this time to study Ben and his team, but they probably didn’t look into Jimmy or see him as a threat (until he started investigating anyways), which would’ve lead to their undoing
There's also the entire bit about the Ultimates being their own people after leaving the watch, that never ended up happening, and we never saw them again
We saw Ultimate Humungousaur's helmet on Khyber's ship
The closest we got was Ultimare Humongasaur’s helmet being on Khyber’s ship, but I think the creator’s said it’s just a normal Vaxxasaurian helmet
However I still wonder what became of them
When I first saw the episode I thought they were taken to their respective species’ homeworlds, which would’ve been pretty interesting (like imagine if instead of Mizaru we had Ultimate Spider Monkey), but especially considering Cannonbolt’s homeworld was destroyed which made me wonder where his ultimate would/could go
Didn't they all go to that Omnitrix planet azmuth kept?

I was going to say that ben already has all the transformations in the milky way galaxy (and 5 on andromeda) but then I realized they were going to the universe that ben created
@@rottenrevival1370 I'm pretty sure the universe that Ben helped save in the season 8 was the one that was destroyed in season 1, so they're going on a trip around their own universe if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, maybe they could've gone to andromeda

@@rottenrevival1370 it really is! I love it
Two options come to mind for the canon reasons why so many of these plots and villains don't return:
1 - Ben dealt with them offscreen, as we've often seen the gang have adventures between episodes.
2nd option is what happen with Ssserpent for sure
Thats a cool theory but still is unsatisfying
The 2nd one is definitely what happened to the limax especially because of waterhazard lol.
The latter could’ve been what happened to Sssserpent
Ben said he was probably miles away and we never saw him again, so presumably he could’ve to go somewhere he wouldn’t have to deal with Ben
The only reason it’s not stated is because they probably couldn’t

@@Brutalyte616 Max doesn't count. He was never dead, just thought to be dead.
He did return in OV, but very briefly & he didn't do much in that episode. Which is unfortunate.
He was pretty much a waste of a cameo
@@chinuaalibatya7345 His cameo was fine, thats not the problem, the problem is the lack of care for the character. He should've appeared in more episodes in OV, and/or even UAF with a more substantial role, not just a _singular_ cameo. I'm not saying he should've been a major character, just have a more substantial role besides one cameo.
@fennekin1750 he could have replaced Colonel Rozum. They're kinda similar to each other.
Another drop plotline is when kuro promised us that other members will be making videos and that the breakdowns will stop taking over the challenge like a year ago, I'm happy we can pick the dropped line now
We’re getting there!
Ngl that would be SICK, but one plot line that i would love to be continue is the come back of malware since he is my fav character.
Idk why in the video he said the Galactic Enforcers are dead. I'm pretty sure they're still alive. Ulitmos was just severely injured.
In Alien Force Ben defeats Vilgax upon his return and wins ownership of the ten conquered planets, but this plot is never turning back.
This was pointed out in the af breakdown but Ben himself getting the injury he takes when he goes alien - when Humungousaur scrap his knee or Swampfire black eye -
Very true!
I think that was dropped because it really put a limit on the kinds of damage the writers could have Ben take in fights.
@@theking8347 of course but could of been like part of the recalibrated process, making ben HAVE to be more smart/caution in his fights, hence why he actually never test his aliens off screen like he did in the classic

No really. To be honest, I can imagine Gwen turning down Ben's offer of Road Trip and hanging up the call. Throughout Omniverse we always see her angry with a frown every time Ben gets into her university.
@@mayotango1317 No, I'd imagine Gwendolyn would be open abt it. The only potential problem would be her schoolwork. It only depends on what time of the year the Roadtrip would be. She was only like that cuz Ben was at her University, & she knew how much Ben could be obnoxious & annoying at times & she didn't want him to A: ruin the school in any way or B: she didn't want to be embarrassed. Or anything else that Ben could directly or indirectly do while there that would annoy her. She just wanted to focus on her studies, etc. When she wasn't at school, she was alot calmer. So, I think she would at the very least consider it.
The ghost freak plot was my favorite sideline. Because Ben was fighting a villain from his inside
That also happens if you go to Taco Bell
The road trip would be good way to explore these plotlines, just saying. Would be a great prequel comic for 5yl.
Bro
You're f*cking right
Hearing that the Negative 10 would have returned but as evil versions of some of Ben’s aliens sounds like something I wish we saw since I wonder which aliens we could have seen. It could have even tied back into that Malware returning tease with him as one.
Ben’s fear of his ultimate aliens was paid off when they became sentient and tried to sacrifice him for their freedom
Would've been funny to see a cold open in Omniverse with the Limax returning and Ben just wipes them out with Water Hazard
The plumbers helpers training was finished in “above and beyond” that was their final exercise and then they were able to go to plumbers academy because of it
There was also the time the Forever Knights tried to replace the president with a robot
The dragons plotline being dropped hurts me to this day.
@@gntyhnot poor, but sales to an unforeseen audience. The original cancellation was for the sales being higher for female audience members
To simply put it Warner Brother and CN make the decisions and they don't want to
So, I fully understanding, it’s toys that has been keeping a Ben 10 series from coming.
For verdona, those energy beings live for like, thousands of years, so she probably will check in a good 100 or so years later
Verdona probably got dropped because they undid the retcon.
Verdona was meant to explain that Gwen's magical powers weren't really magic, but inherited alien powers. But then magic got retconned again back into being its own thing unrelated to aliens, so Verdona became an unnecessary character.
the series ending one definitely, damn toy funding dependant practices and suits getting in the way of good shows
The Time War using previous episodes as settings would fit the concept of exploring past series continuity as well as having a Trials and Tribbleations vibe where OV Ben needs to work with or avoid his previous self and allies while keeping his own history on course. Retroactively giving some of these loose ends closure through the set up too.
Ultimos and his team have so much Potential and maybe help ben in AF and UA in case of backup
It's heartbreaking they just died like that against Vilgax
I love how other members of the Ink Tank are getting to do their own videos. It makes it feel much more diverse, and I love hearing these guys talk.
@@SecretMagician that... would have been the best thing ever
Also it would put greater force into the whole "Malware defeated for good" quote
They could've tried a Heroes United part 2 in Omniverse.
You know where i can read that, i never find it ?
I'm not sure, but there's sites online for reading comics digitally, I think
All 16 plotlines will easily became future plots, like fit in with one or two seasons more in Omniverse or so.
I really wish we could've seen the original concept of AF Season 3, I really wanted to meet the new set of aliens
I really wanted the Dragon plot get followed up on because Ben could have turned into a dragon since he could have unlocked that DNA
I would have liked the Dragon plotline to be revived..... because Dragons.
Also, it would give for an excuse for Ben to gain a Dragon transformation... which would be awesome by virtue of Dragons.
That's what I was thinking. Being able to turn into a dragon would've been sick.
My dream.
Big true
seems like these plot lines will NEVER be followed up on since the last series of the Classic continuity ended back in 2014. Maybe in the future one day we’ll get a sequel that follows from Omniverse.. who knows?
6:00 Malgax would’ve been so cool to see again
The 9th season of omniverse could've explored all that tbh.
Verdona and Max training the plumbers absolutely, love Manny and the others and Verdona is just a fun concept

I would love a video discussing what potential episodes or plotlines could've come from these, especially the pink eyes thing since thats confirmed to have originally been something
4:18 maybe it is a prelude to the ultimate sacrifice
6:53 I interpret it as a great cliffhanger
I always hoped that Ben used new aliens when he had Master Control so they stay unlocked aside from Lodestar being unlocked at the end.
Also, I theorised Toepick or Gravattack was one of the aliens Ben unlocked after the Highbreed War.
You could say ben being scared of the ultimates kind of had a pay of in the ultimate sacrifice.
I feel like most of the one off villains have been so underrated in this show
I wanted to see the Dragon arc and the Omniverse road trip realized.
Another one thats worth mentioning is that weird scene on one of the firsts alien force episodes in which Ben gets hurt as Humungosaur and then continues to have that injury even in human form
That seemed like a bigger deal but was never brought back

Actually the Generator Rex crossover was continued, the only problem is that was in a comic, so that's why it's relatively unkown
Elena was also in the Game Show episode where every woman Ben ever met competed for a date with him

Hey Ink tank, I was watching you video and i wanted you to know that what you guys do with 5YL acually insired me to right my own Ben 10 story. Heck you inspired me to create my own aliens.
Also don't worry I will make sure to include those drop plotlines, Lee just discussed.
To be fair Rex did crossover with Ben again, but it was in the reboot
yup, thats sad that they just left and always thought what happened to ghost freak and what were the set of aliens?
also why he also learn how to use his alien powers like gween does and why her gradma didnt suggested to train ben as well but she was only fixated to train gween and it was like ben is not even blood related to her or something!
The reason Ben was scared of the ultimates was because he felt different turning into them as if they were partially alive which was later revealed they were sentient in the omnitrix in the episode the ultimate sacrifice
0:59 I would’ve liked that to be a subplot in the second half of season one, if they ever plan to adapt it
I wish Vilgax hadn't been so underutilized in Omniverse
The Gen Rex crossover. Easily one of my favourites of all time and its a shame they never truly followed up on it beyond a comics series. I absolutely loved Gen Rex and rn pretty much my only hope of another Heroes United is if Multiversus drops this year with both Ben and Rex lol
I remember subbing when this channel had 60k subs. Damn time flies
Not a dropped plotline but it always annoyed me that they made a whole arc in the original series around Ben getting 3 new aliens: Frankenstrike, Blitzwolfer, and Snare-oh just for them to never be seen again in the original series. They were only used ONCE EACH and never again
Honestly love to see all these plot lines done, maybe in comic form or something would be cool to see and make the Road Trip a movie with a budget
