Wassup guys, Today me and my brother in law went to Redwing to check out the hot whitebass action. We got them white bass on the Wolf Rig(3-way swivel) with a fly.
What ounce weight are you guys using? Dont look like its a drop shot rig. Do you guys just tie main line to weight and have a leader attach to the fly from the weight?
1/2 ounce weight. Use a 3 way swivel. Your leader to the sinker should be about 12 inches or less and your leader to the fly being 2ft. Just make sure your leader with your fly is significantly longer than your leader with the weight
That land is owned by Redwing Wildlife Leauge. They are for protecting shores and wildlife from going bad or extinct. They are about protecting wildlife, so I don’t think they mind unless people trash the area. I know the island to his right is actually owned by someone.

It's at lock and dam 3 near the casino. So many people fish there. the land is public, not private. Map it and you should be able to guess where they fished.

Once you catch on fly it’s hard to go back and fish plastics or minnow. Good stuff boys!
