I had the LXR SE for my first bike before passing my test it was a perfect bike to learn on. The size gives you a big bike feel and gives you the confidence. Had it for a year and no problems with it. Definitely glad I had it
@@KyranGreen-qo7jqTo be honest mate if you want something fast right now the fastest you can get brand new is the YZF R 125 but obviously it is much more expensive to get brand new. The LXR isn’t bad in terms of speed but given that they’re all 125s they’re all in a similar range but the YZF comes out at the top of the speed range
I learnt on a chinese bike (Sinnis Terrain) I did actually want a Lexmoto, New ones were out of my price level for the time, but the second hand Lexmotos were cheaper but were not in very good order - the issue with a lot of 125 cc owners is that they don't really either know how to maintain their bikes, or fail to want to as they see it as a gateway to the next bike or bigger bike after their test. This is a nioce bike though Mark and If I had the money at the time would have bought one....the only negative I can see with this very smart sleek looking bike is that it looks a lot like a Suzuki GSXR - which possibly could make drivers think you are on a faster bike and creep up your backside...just my opinion. Good review mate..as always
People still moan about the “Chinese Bike” thing, but I think they are a great bike for the money. I have had my Lexmoto for 4 years and had no issues with it, and now done 12k miles. Have always liked the LXR, but do like the exhaust on the LXS a bit better. Great review Mark. Cheers.
Reminds me of a baby blade, love the colour although the black white and blue 💙 is nice too.. not that I'm a track person but I'd like a go on this around the track 😅. Great alternative to the usual sit up 125.. great review Mark ❣️ thanks xx
G'day Mark on first impressions it looks like a much bigger engined bike, 125 is two small for Australia road conditions except City use, great reviews as always, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
ive been looking to get one of these for my first bike but i heard the 2019-2020 models have electical problems so i was curious if they fixed them on the 2024 or is it still the same ?
shame it isnt as powerful as the yamaha yzr125r. which will outperform this easily. but this does look really nice and i prefer the higher handlebars than the much more sitting forward yzr
Great review Mark. I’m a new rider 53 years old love the look of this bike. Would you recommend it for someone? Has never rode a bike before? I’m doing my CBT with my 16 year old son in a couple of weeks what would you recommend? I’m 6 foot two keep up the great videos.
Hi yes these are great bikes for the money ....quite tall so would suit you at 6,2 ...also look at the naked style rss ? Etc they are easier to control for a complete beginner rather than a sports position Best wishes Mark
Hi mate amazing video as always wanted to ask a question im a new rider looking for a 125 bike i cant choose between the new sinnis smr supermoto 125 or the lexmoto lxr se just wanted to hear your thoughts and what you would personally have cheers ..
Hi many thanks:) I've actually just bought a lxr125se for myself !!! As a cheap run about I was that impressed with it ....the sinnis is nice but I'm not into the bolt upright position with no fairing plus it's very tall .....both are great...but I much prefer the riding of the lxr Good luck with your biking career Best wishes mark
I'm getting my first bike soon and love how large this bike looks as it doesn't seem like a 125, but unfortunately i'm 5'3. Do you have any other suggestions?
Hi both are the same apart from the LCD dash ,alloy swingarm and USD forks on the Lxs ...they are both the same loudness....you can get a lextek exhaust......I'd definitely go for the LXS Cheers mark
Hi the tnt is great fun but limited performance about 55 mph flat out ....the lxr is a full size bike .... good performance and looks I prefer the lxr Cheers
A little late to the party here. My wife has an LXR (probably bought around the time of this review) she is also 5'7. We lowered the bike using dog bones (I think that's the correct name) and my wife can almost flat foot the bike. She has done 1400ish miles and has had no issues with the handling. There is however, no room for any adjustments on the front forks and the rear was left as is.
@@markpulling12 I said this on different video so having both bikes would you recommend someone going for a new lxs/lxr or a second hand Yamaha the one you got or the mt125
@@its_batess hi most 125 s are in reality about 65 mph ....ish ...the speedo will read ,alot more lol 😂 A good used yzf125 r or mt125 would give you the max speed I'd say for your 14 hp Cheers mark
Fr, my 2019 model keeps having people pulling over to the side to let me pass on A roads where I don't have the power to overtake comfortably lol. Even after riding it for 2 years I enjoy the bike. Shame that an A2 licence is pointless waste of money for me when I'm 24 in a year.
As an American this bike confuses me. I understand that its appeal is for the UK and other countries but still, the bike has 600cc height ninja 400 weight but grom power?😂 whats the point?
Haha 😆 yes I get your point ....it's so that 17:year old learner riders in the UK can think they are Rossi lol This is all the power that is allowed at 17 in the UK Best wishes mark
For something that looks like a full sized bike its a shame they didn't try and give the full HP. I can understand why they chose not too its a shame nonetheless.
Good video bro❤. Just a question. Ive seen many people saying that lexmoto are very unreliable and their bikes shouod be avoided, im planning on buying one. Im just wondering if lexmoto are good to buy from.
Hi they are generally fine as long as you take care of them and get them well serviced ... Problems usually only occur when they are abused Cheers mark

Is the lxr se faster than the lxr
@@KyranGreen-qo7jq hi no they both share the same engine and speed is the same:)

I'm seriously thinking of getting an lxr for a first 125cc. But I want something that goes fairly fast. Would this be the right bike for me?

Great review, as always. If i heard correctly , for an extra £300 you get upside downs and tft screen, that has to be a bargin for those extras.
Yes £400 extra gives you TFT ...USD forks and alloy swingarm
I'd go for that one cheers mark

nice sport bike look without the sport bike power.
Can imagine this would be great for younger/newer riders who wanna look cool without the deathwish.

A nice looking 125. great video 👍

Can you get this in Norway?
If these came with ABS they'd be awesome, my LXS crashed cause of front wheel lock but it was either that or having a shit driver smash into me
