Thanks to your assistance I have used the Open Port 2.0 for more than 3 years in the w164 ML. I have now switched to a w166 ML and I can read the fault codes and erase but for some reason I cannot access the CDI module, it says communication unavailable. Have you got the Open Port 2.0 to fully work on a w166?

@@rbrood267 everything is pretty smooth. Nothing to worry about honestly. I’ve been using my openport setup for quite a while now. Only thing I’d advise is to keep the car on a battery maintainer so that the voltage doesn’t dip into a low voltage. This is important, ESPECIALLY when you get to the part where you want to send the changes you’ve made back to the cars ecus. Not doing this might lead to bricking the module you’re coding. Besides that, everything is pretty straight forward. Good luck
@@ooooooo6038 im installing xentry right now. didnt know its asking for so much space however. ill keep in mind the voltge drop or i run the car. i do have a brand spanking new battery though but bricking isnt something you want to experience.

Если устанавливаю драйвер для кабеля minivci на Windows 10 не проходит ему нужна виндовс 7 или хр.
И с другой стороны когда пытаюсь установит xentry на старый виндовс она не ставится выдает ошибку что .net ,нужно обновлять а такое обновление уже идёт только с Виндоус 10.благодарю за ответ

Would I. theory, I seen the sl230 slk230 r170 on the list when you searched for your car. would I be able to disable and enable permanently a bypass valve ? and or supercharger clutch pulley. remove error codes?
I can't say for sure, I haven't tried it on slk230

My OpenPort doesnt work with G500 W463... it can see the VIN, battery voltage but cannot communicate with the modules... why?

I have tried to use the Openport 2.0 clone you have shown. When I open DAS it begins to connect and before it finishes the software beeps and reads 0volts then disconnects. Voltage is fine (12.4v) before this happens. I have also tried while car is running with the same result. Is the Openport adapter faulty? I have installed latest drivers.

hi, do these work with computers that were connected on internet before? some seller descriptions say (before attaching this device to computer) if the computer had been connected on internet ever before, it wont work. is this true?
