That is a good place to fish for blues and bass last 2 weeks of may there at the inlet.
Nice vid
Thanks for watching!
nice! i have the same setup
It’s a great setup and a ton of fun for these tog!
just curious bc I am learning BUT if u got to town at 10am why not hit the bait shop on the way in?
15:08 😮😢 I felt that bro.
Nice video where is that spot
if you use a half crab you will hook more there at barnegat light.
U just tie a yukatan leader knot?
What length and power is that tsunami trophy slow pitch rod
7’6” medium heavy I believe. All gear is linked in description
Do a short video in how you catch Asian crabs...
Probably in the summer, all buried now pretty much
How are you tying your leader?
A wack ass surgeons loop to surgeons loop knot
Ha, thanks for response, just subscribed, good luck brother
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it
Location? lol
You should use 50 pound mono instead. That's what I use on all of my tog rigs
I use 60 on my rigs, but this spot isn’t too deep and not too much current either. So I like to go as light as possible, allows you to fish lighter jigs and catch more fish.
@@dillonfishing I felt your pain as that big one slid away 😂. That happens all the time 😅
what rod is the black spinning one?
Tsunami slow pitch 7’
@@dillonfishing looks light im a look into it
I linked it in the descry
Description*
Imagine loosing a keeper like that
Only me
Back before you were born when the limit was 4 all I need was 1 dozen crabs and a slack tide and I would have limit. Lose the jig harky-malarky and go back to rig
Believe it or not this was actually my slowest day of the year. My best day I had 12 keepers in 3 hours with plenty of shorts
your better off with 50 lb mono
So much less fun tho
@@dillonfishing i guess , but if there is a big tog down there 30lb doesn't stand a chance. i use 30 lb seagaur if the water is crystal clear only
