I quit going to the doctor about the health issues I have with slow gut motility and constipation and general gut issues. Every doctor I saw just wanted to put me on medication and all if them told me there was no such thing as slow gut motility. I know that isn't true. But no one would listen to me so I just gave up. I am grateful for this information.

Unresolved traumas can cause this chronic, low-level sympathetic response, too. I find that yoga helps not only physically, by moving and twisting the body, but also by releasing stagnant emotional energy trapped in 'tight' or 'knotted' areas of the body. If I go for a long period without doing yoga and then do a nice, long session, I always have the craziest nightmares that night. I believe they're illustrating the repressed emotions and traumas being released.

I just want to say thank you both so much for this information & all that you do with your podcasts! I rely on it so much! It really has helped me better understand my body and what I can do to help myself. As a patient when you don’t know what’s going on (your conventional dr has no clue either) & you’re scared of your symptoms it really makes a difference when there are people like you both out there who provide so much help & knowledge! Conventional docs never take time to sit with you or explain anything. So thank you!!

I have been suffering for 2-1/2 years of suffering with ibs-c and not one doctor where I live in the Bahamas has helped me. There are no functional doctors where I live. I have followed all these TH-cam videos through diet, excercuse, more water, low carb, higher fiber, higher fat, to low or no fiber NOTHING works. Do vit B, magnesium, vit C, probiotics, digestive enzymes, Metamucil etc etc, tracked my food for over a year. No change. Can’t go without senna. Issue is motility moving through. Ate Wendy’s and McDonald’s for 5 days and went every day on my own. Eat healthy back to not going. I am so tired. Don’t know where to turn. I’m 53 on the cusp of menopause, huge hormonal changes. And no GI doctor or Gyny here suggests anything helpful and follow through.

I'm so overwhelmed I want to cry. I can't take in much info, I just need a list in point form of what I need to buy and take but instead it's information overload and I never learn what I need to do.
I was officially diagnosed with Lazy Bowel and Stomache at 19. Specialist said I don't have the wave motion to push everything through. I'm 54 and been deathly ill for 20yrs, can't work, so can't afford therapies or medicines and can't get well. I've tried to end my life 3 times bcos there is no hope for me. I can't even afford to see a gastroenterologist to help me, I've been on a waitlist for a yr now to attend a clinic.. yet every day I'm so sick.
I only have a sml bm 2 times a MONTH!!!! AND IM ALWAYS SO HUNGRY.
Please please can someone help me PLEASE. 😭😭😭😭

You can try chia seeds. Grind them in a coffee grinder first. Cook them in oatmeal at first, then add them raw later. Be judicious, as you will have BM after BM all day if you take too much. I took 2 teaspoons raw on my porridge and boy did I go! Eat fermented foods, as much as you can
Yogurt, sauerkraut, pickles. Stay away from sugar and bread. They put plastic in cheese now so no Cheese. Please, get some help, there is lots out there. You are worth it.

5/29/24 - I'm not exaggerating when I say that guys like this are heroes for guys like me who suffer these ailments. It's one thing to hear terms like IBS, Gastritis, Helicobacter Pylori, SIBO, Candida Overgrowth, Crohn's, etc but it's another ballgame all together to suffer one or more of them. They can be brutal to the point of "those" thoughts - you know the ones. I am now making my own reuteri, gasseri, coagulan, etc yogurts. I eat more fermented foods, sauerkraut and so on. It's a slow-going process but a necessary one. I look forward to being healthy again. Thank you, men.

I've found cascara sagrada every so often can be pretty helpful for sluggish motility. I notice whenever I up my meat intake things slow down quiet a lot, even taking ACV or HCl/bile supps. The ox bile is somewhat easy to overdo, and you'll know when you do because you'll have the runs.

exactly what the Written Word of God teaching us
Our Creators (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) told us what to eat through history and environment changes =
    1) Adam and Even until the time of Noah = Genesis 1:29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is [i]life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.
    2) Noah until the time of Moses = Genesis 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. 3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. 4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. 5 Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man. 6 “Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.
    3) Moses until Jesus Christ Word God in flesh = Leviticus 11:1-47
    4) Jesus Christ, New Testament =
1Corinthians 10:25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake; 26 for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.”
1Corinthians 5:13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
Matthew 4:4, 14:17-21, Mark 2:16, 16:18, 7:18-23, Luke11:11-13, ROMANS 14:1-23 1Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is [b]sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
    5) Jesus Christ, humans and Angels and all Planet Earth's creations ... 1000 years Paradise upon Restored Planet Earth = Revelation 20
    6) (Father, Son Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit) Angels, humans, other creations for ever and ever in Paradise = Revelation 21 & 22
