I actually like "Upsey Downsey".
I can imagine the cute side shouting "Upsey" in a high, cute voice. ("Upsey" also indicating that it has an UPlifted personality)
And the derpy/sad side goes "downseeeeey" all the time in a deeper, slow voice("Downsey" in turn indicating a 'down' personality, a bit slow, boring and sad)
But the design is awesome, really something that would fit perfectly into the pokemon world imo.

That's a very impressive design. I can kind of imagine it turning into a stronger evolution, being elongated into a dragon-like thing, and maybe an ultimate version where both faces are always awake.

This has nothing to do with the fantastic artwork you've made, but I think that's exactly how the people at Game Freak are designing new Pokemon nowadays. Just randomize everything and adjust it's abilities afterwards, depending on the design. For example: "We have something that looks like a tree but it also has some sort of wings...let's make it a grass-flying type...let's say it has the ability "Roots" so it regenerates health points after every turn." Yeah I know...my imagination is worthless after 9 PM.

I personally liked the one with the atena and ears, and then the one with the angry face for the bottom, but still cute!
The Pokémon has a permanent power where you can flip it and both sides have different sets of health and attacks and when one side dies the other comes out and goes until or if it dies. The permanent flip doesn’t take one of your four attacks. Also both sides can be used for candies but each side is separate you can flip the sides anytime. It is also very rare because it’s a legendary.

i have an idea for an ability for Swichiru and that's that when they fall asleep, they switch to their other version because in each version, the other face is sleeping. they can also have a signature move in which the type changes depending on which version of Swichiru is out, and after the move, it puts Swichiru to sleep and changes the Swichiru's form. the cute Swichiru can be fairy/flying because they are so happy and the derpy form can be ghost/flying because they look sad, and the cute version's move would be fairy and the derpy version's move would be ghost

I would've used this peachy light skin like colour for the face/pouch and lime green for the tail/antenna. Then blue or green for the mouth

Switchiru:
Switchiru flips itself up or down based on it's emotion. Even if Switchiru is happy, it can only fight in it's sad form, thus only allowing status booster moves to be used while it is happy. Because Switchiru only has two emotions, it is fairly easy to tell it's emotion, but if left uncared for in its sad form, it will die.

This design is more creative than most of the pokemon that actually exist, and that's coming from someone who likes most of the generations.
Personally, I think 'Bellybean' would have been the better name. Because I can picture in my head the derpy face saying 'BELLY!' in a really deep, croaky voice and the cute face saying 'Bean!' in a much more cutsie, lovable tone.
I love his videos! They're always really fun and interactive and he's so friendly and nice! I'll definitely check out that app. Hope to catch one of the twitch sessions soon.

I don't know if anybody else thinks this, but the cute face just looks like a face the designers of Pokémon wouldn't use. The only Pokémon I can think of with a face like that is Chikorita, and it looks really uncanny.
the energetic side is working the day shift while the grumpy side works the night shift
because the grumpy side is like a zombie aka me when I'm sleep deprived and the energetic side is cheerful like me during the day lol
