People like Evan are the millionaires I look up to. Incredibly wealthy, able to afford almost anything but still humble, down to earth, wearing normal clothes and not being arrogant.
Even though I don't have the drive or commitment to opening a business like him, he is what my ideal life is for the future (with or without the wealth) and he deserves it. A very happy life that I'm sure he'll be satisfied with until the end
You mean with human values and common sense!?
@@Guipvideotek Yes, which is often forgotten once greed and the mentality of financial superiority sets in.
I mean its not completely surprising considering there ARE a lot of fucking dimwits out to get everything they couldnt possibly work for themselves (laziness, victim mentality, you name it) but... some just take that paranoid mindset too far.
I'm gonna be honest, I've met a lot of rich people, the only ones I've ever seen who are not normal are TV rich people. Normal ones you probably won't even notice. Went to church with my Grandmother for years, didn't know one of the families there were worth like 50m until I was like 18 and they wanted to do a party for me and my buddy graduating. Got to their "house" and their garage was the size of a midsized home. Saw like 8 cars, and they had a hey ride that they let people get on that went all the way around the property. For the southerners that know what I'm talking about by hey rides, you had a great childhood. By the way the hey ride was a couple miles long.

I actually respect people like Evan so much. He was wise in meeting them in public beforehand, to gauge them and the situation a bit better before having them over. It's that kind of smart-thinking, coupled with an excellent personality, and obvious ambition that got him this far. Amazing example of how we can accomplish a lot, but still remain humble and in touch with the human experience. I'm positive this is just his starter-mansion, with much more soon to come for him. Never thought some random Americans would be that kind with some strangers. Some people are incredibly kind
Why did i cry when Evan met you guys and started talking with so much enthusiasm, Best Evan ever
Imagine living in your fortress, armed, and still miserable and afraid of the world. I understand the adversities that Texas faces, but my God… I love the man and his family that opened their home to the guys for cooking. We need to strive to be more like this in our communities.
i mean, it angered me a bit at first too. but you don't know what people have been through.

@@TheBontekraaiI mean she just could have said that she wasn't interested like the other neighbors
the reason why they are still miserable and afraid of the world is because they have their fortress, guns, and security to hide behind of... it would be more surprising if they weren't sceptical of every little thing. Normally the most secure and protected are the most fearful and insecure.
i hope the neighbor who used fear ends up seeing this video and regrets that oppurtinity they missed.
The difference between the lady who threatened them and Evan is night and day. He’s such a warm personality.
Are we gonna talk about criminals (even in rich neighborhoods) impersonating themselves as delivery drivers or whatever, waiting for you to “welcome” them the same way into your house only to get robbed and prolly killed? Quit with this “hospitability” bs, sure if you know a guy or you’re just so desperate to let a stranger into your house, go ahead. Just don’t expect or worse blame others just because they’re more cautious than you are.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that women are likely to be raped.
She has every reason to be that cautious. She’s an old lady, the threatening was her leverage. No need to blame her for being wary.
I don't think @traetrae11 was blaming the lady at all. Simply pointing out a dramatic difference from someone who said she had guns and dogs and to get off her property to someone that reached out to them and said he wanted to cook them dinner. It wasn't a comment hating on the lady, just pointing out a dramatic juxtaposition.
@@ronnietrek6376 The women clearly has the right to threaten them, and deny them and I 100% agree what she did, its also apart of our constitution. However, I also believe she is a asshole and should be more respectful when people are being respectful to you back, its the basic fundamentals of respect.
The pitch: "We want to show that the world isn't a scary place."
The response: "I have 3 guard dogs and guns. Don't come back."
Thankfully, there are folks like Evan who not only agrees, but wants to do his own part too. Not only did he invite them to his home to meet his family, including his 1 year old, he himself cooked for them, and even took them out on his boat. It's great how the arrived when the sun was up, and stayed till it was no longer in the sky, playing games and connecting.
You don't have to see the world and other people in a negative light be default. As they said, most people are good people. You just have to be open to that.
Those people had all the right to refuse and be wiery especially as multibillioners. Evan looked them up before making his decision, he didn't agree on the spot.
@@valvihk3649 They could have just said no instead of pointing out to their ability to hurt or even kill them with dogs and guns. That's paranoia.
They even talked about this during their meal with Evan; not everyone is out to get you. Plenty of others in the video politely declined; there was no need for what she did.
@@rollin340 It was a he. They pointed out that they are armed and if someone is trying to break in or do something illegal then they can protect themselves. They made their statement that they felt really unsafe. These guys could be a couple of criminals lurking around and wanting to see inside the house to steal something with so called good intentions. Calling it paranoia is prejudice, as I stated, they are multibillionaires. Lots of rich people walk with bodyguards for a living. Being rich is not a jam. There are high chances of them already experienced dangerous situations.
@@valvihk3649 "These guys could be a couple of criminals lurking around and wanting to see inside the house to steal something with so called good intentions."
That's precisely my point. Their go-to mentality is distrust and fear. Again, we saw lots of others also say no, but not with such display of "I have force and will use it."
Then you have Evan and his family, who instead choose to see the inherent good in people before judging.
If you still don't understand the comparison, then let's just leave it at that.
@@rollin340 Have you tried to read MY point? No.
Evan and his family have probably not been fucked over or at least harshly. If they did, Evan would not have invited them whether he looked them up (which he did) or not. Taking into account that he went around through several footages of the neighbors to make sure they looked safe says a lot in comparison to people who encountered their request and had to give an answer right in the moment whether their answer was polite or not. Evan was being careful before he chose to expose strange men in front of his family.
You never know what those people went through especially as multi billionaires. I am tired of repeating myself, your point is invalidating a life that can be very lonely because of large sum of money or they already went through some trauma based off a large sum of money et cetera. Either way, they did not state that they would "kill them" or "I have force and will use it." They felt uncomfortable and unsafe by strangers request and responded with that discomfort which stated: they have forces and they are not afraid to use them if something dangerous would come their way. If they responded with your exaggerated answer then those dogs would have been after them already.
There were people who stated "no," "not interested," if pushed it would've easily turn into a same response of 'we have ways of protecting ourselves if forced into it.' They chose to give neutral answers first and that is their choice. There were some nicer answers but that does not negate whether they felt comfortable or not. It could have easily turned. At the end of the day, we respond by the means of our emotions. But, calling these people paranoid is seriously narrow. Just like your responses that do not respond to my points. I don't live rich but I am in private neighborhood. If some strangers snooping around show up people will be notified for safety reasons and it's appropriately so.
Evan was a cool dude. Doesn't let success get to his head, and enjoys the little things in life. Great video guys!
People like Evan are the people that deserve their wealth the most. He opened his home and time to essentially two strangers just for the community/comradery of it and I love that
ABSOLUTELY. I wish him all the luck and success. Let's not forget his wonderful wife agreed to this as well. They hosted their home, family, and food without cause or concern.
The ability to sacrifice ones own time is really a marvel. If you think about it not many are up to it on a smaller scale. It takes confidence and compassion to open yourself to new people. I hope we can learn from this person.

We have some estates on the river near me - Very well secure, Security everywhere - 7 houses robbed in 1 night. (I personally think it's an inside job with the security) but it was very clear they used the river and a quiet boat to get in and out.)
That's all golden retrievers honestly lol but I agree
Man, the thing I love about this is that Evan is clearly quite an open person but also has a rational view and judgement of people which has clearly helped him in his career. This is really the kind of success that I'd want to emulate in my life, not just on a superficial/monetary level but also on the emotional and interpersonal level. Props to you guys for making this video!
Yeah
staking it out in a public place, inviting them on the boat for a talk before introducing them to his family were are really smart moves. Cool guy to boot.
This is so awesome, loved this episode and the connections made on this platform ❤ Evan and his family were so wholesome and humble. Major props to Judy for making that connection happen 👏
In these times where wealth and influence seems to be all that matters, it’s so incredibly heartwarming to see this. An obviously wealthy family, opening their home to complete strangers. AND cooking for THEM! Mad props to this family, some redemption for the way the world is going. 😊😊
You can tell how good his family was judging by how friendly his dog is.
Lol.
golden retreiver topped 3 guard doogs...... love riot.....................
More like how not trained it was, jumping on people. Dog training is an investment, I think most ignore.
He was called by the name of cupcake
my dogs always do this it just means there happy@@KeenKoala115
Shoutout to Judi for putting in a good word. This man is amazing and the definition of humble. It makes me so happy to see a person with a heart like his have what he has. He deserves the best of everything in this life.

I wish this family all the best and i am glad they're doing well. Happy , healthy and wealthy ❤
There is still good people in the world. Thank you to the homeowner for being a BEAUTIFUL PERSON. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander.
Can we please get more Evan and his family??? They are just so adorable and wholesome!

All this gorgeous content of humility, compassion, love, inclusion, heart, and soul....yet still there are haters. Keep up the good fight, my friends. You are the perfect example of amazing humans.
This is such a great reminder to all of us to keep connecting, keep loving, keep living ❤️ and sharing
You should definitely setup a reunion with all the homes ya cooked for and have a grand cooking at an exclusive event space for the final episode of the season. That would be awesome to bring those who believed in this journey together.
That's a great idea.
Yes !!
Love this idea!
this is a fantastic idea
Yes!
I HONESTLY WISH THAT MAN AND HIS FAMILY NOTHING BUT THE BEST AND SO MUCH MORE! NEED WAY MORE PEOPLE LIKE THEM IN THIS WORLD! SO HAPPY THEY HAVE A KID TO JUST SO THERE IS ONE MORE OF THEM IN THIS WORLD!
If more people do this, What If criminals do it to?
But yes, I wish this man and his family the best. ❤
@@TheUnknownD Criminals wouldn't go through the effort...they'd just break in.
👏👏👏👏 couldn’t agree more! Wish them the best!
This series is SO genuine! i love it.
The humility in his voice throughout the whole video is heartwarming.
he seems so wholesome. even his company’s mission involves helping a vulnerable population, that’s amazing!
Seems like a humble, hard working, and solid dude... Don't think you could have stumbled upon anyone better!
I LOVE this guy!!! What a great personality & down to earth! This is the kind of human we all should be so lucky enough to befriend.
Such a genuine soul! We need more people like this gentlemen in the world. Thanks again guys for making my day!
Evan and his family is a rare gem! His demeanor is priceless.
May he, his family, and the people that surround him be able to live a fulfilling life ❤
It’s not a rare gem a lot of millionaires I’ve met are holesome than egotistical assholes
It's very rare to find people like Evan, his attitude is the reason why he's rich!
I don't believe that is the reason he is rich. He is the perfect human tho. The one neighbor is loaded and she is evil.
@@michaeldunar8986 I mean she has a right to be suspicious of people and it's understandable, but yeah she should have just said "no thank you" instead of threatening them lmao.
@@TheMarksman0415 *In fact yes, she are absolutely right to be wary of 2 strangers who offer to cook the dinner for her, but there was no need to be rude
That's the exact opposite of what the video is saying. Evan sure is awesome bt that's the thing the video is getting at. It's not rare. There's lots of awesome people you can go out and make connections with.
@@ingridlou5041 Yeah there is definitely a lot more good, but the media likes to highlight the bad for money.
Love what you guys did with this idea. We need more ppl to see that there are still genuine individuals in the world worth making a connection with. We're all here together yet most of us seem to stay in our own little world. ❤
You can tell when the owner is always happy and doesn't have anxiety because their dog is so happy to greet people. That dog is living a stress free life 🐕

But without seeing this 99% of people would be saying he made how much? Tax that asshole more. Just how people are. Most wealthy people are like this, people just picture them differently.
I wish all wealthy people were like Evan and his family, not just in the US but around the world. Sharing their blessings, showing you what it feels like to live in their neighborhood, and welcoming them into their home is such a beautiful and selfless act.
I wish that too, but I think it's only hope. Because the most very wealthy people want to be anonymous...
That's how it used to be. Before all of the technology, before everything became "This is mine and that is yours".
@@Jetraychamp55 Yes it's terrible what consequences we have to take beacause of that system - in Germany we call it "turbo capitalism "
Why just wealthy? You mean share their money? C'mon. People have become so jaded because many people think others owe them something. Why can't we all connect without trying to grab what someone else has earned?
I snapped that issus not that they wanted to grab something. I wanted to express that there is a great emotional distance between the richest 10% and most people in the other 90%.
Imagine being successful and yet so humble and open to others.
Love Evan's vibes!
Btw Judi sounds like she's pretty cool too!
That one dude accusing them of canvassing...classic rich persons reaction to anyone "below" them walking in their neighborhood. Evan is the complete opposite of that, what a lad!
He is a really kind person, you can tell. didn't seem to care about your wealth, your background, your house or anything like that. Just wanted to make friends and he deserves all the wealth he has.
I'll never forget a stranger once in New Orleans gave me such endearing hospitality. She was older and a local. She attempted to buy my friends and I dinner but I could not let her (so I snuck my card to the waiter). She let us park in her garage so we didn't have to pay it at the hotel and showed us around the city. I will never forget her southern hospitality. She was incredibly pure and kindhearted!
That is so amazing, esp in New Orleans. I had the lovely experience of being screamed at by a local on the trolley b/c I dared carry a closed bottle of water onboard. Screamed at me to the point of feeling unsafe. I've done a LOT of travelling & have experienced much kindness, but never in NOLA. What a gem you encountered :-)
Surely, I could list many bad experiences, even from Chi-city which is where I am from. The point of my positive comment is to recognize the good hospitality cause it happens rarely. I am happy for you that you are well travelled and have encountered great kindness, but don't be coming at me with that haterade and sarcasm cause you're just making yourself look bad.

This guy needs his own channel. He’s so funny and friendly.
"Three scoops!? :D"
No, he doesn’t “need” one. He might enjoy having guests but he also may not be as invested in making his life known to the public.
I am watching your show on a gloomy Saturday afternoon in (ironically) Japan 😊 The connection between you all immediately heightened my spirit. Congratulations for the wholesome intentions and your pure hearts, enjoyed it very much, thank you ❤️
This is the most beautiful, wholesome encounter. This renews my faith in humanity❤
I always love seeing these videos and imagining how pissed the neighbors must feel when they find out in the neighborhood chat that the two strangers were actually legit
