I know, it's just always frustrating. You never know what some stranger will do after hearing that exchange, or the video could be ruined if I have to stop recording to talk to the authorities. I wish there was a way to make it more clear that I'm not interested in filming people, just the trains. Oh well
it says you can film on the L on the cta website the general public is permitted to use hand-held cameras to take photographs, capture digital images, and videotape within public areas of CTA stations and transit vehicles for personal, non-commercial use.
The cta brown line 407 operator is worst then the lady he got so mad when I filmed railfaning train at the clark and lake elevated station I believe he switched to 406
I wish they'd just be honest and say they personally would rather not be on camera, and I'll do my best to avoid them. But instead, they try to make up rules.
keep filming,i enjoy your videos
Thank you! I appreciate your support!
def keep recording, they can't tell you stop recording

I never checked the official policy but I knew I was probably safe to film. Thanks for the info!
