The thing about the receiving end of an angry boar at 7:14 is very true. I had pigs last year (one of them was a boar) and I forgot to fill their feeder, so they were without food for about a day. And when I went out to feed them the next day, the boar rammed me against the shed's wall. Ouch.
Fun fact: if you have a bucket/bowl some thing flexible like cling film (or in moanas case a leaf might work) to cover the top of the bucket, a smaller container and some pebbles you can make a small filtration system. Place the small container in the bottom of the larger one, get some ocean water into the container, but not enough that it flows into the smaller container inside, wrap the cling film or equivalent over the top and place pebbles in the middle over where the small container can catch it, and leave it in the sun. The salt water will evaporate from the sun, collect and condense on the top, gravity on the cling film from the pebbles will make droplets go to the centre that when fall will be collected in the small container inside

2:36 let me guess, it’s because that it will make Morana feel more pressure for that pig, making her not thinking about her own safety. (Please be right)
Catching all the fish shouldn't really be a problem. In Moana, the ocean seems to be at least somewhat sentient, and could therefore bring the gang some fish.
I thought Pua didn't go on the journey because he DID go with her on her first attempt, the one that got wiped out and Pua was so traumatized by that he wanted no part of boats again... oh yeah, and Moana left quite literally right as her grandmother was dying... in the middle of the night, Pua probably was asleep and Moana wasn't really thinking about Disneying this journey up with a bunch of cute sidekicks. But hey, it's just a theory...a FILM THEORY!
I will add that the main reason she didn't bring sweet baby Pua along is because of the fear - she realized bringing someone else along could put them in harm's way. She decided it was best that she venture out alone on this adventure. Heihei had other plans and decided to stowaway on the boat.
In "Moana 2" this is one of the things Disney got wrong: the main antagonist Matangi. According to sources, they list Matangi as the Goddess of the Underworld. However, the problem is Matangi isn't the goddess of the underworld, nor is she from Polynesidan/Maori mythology. Matangi is a Hindu goddess. She is one of the Mahavidyas, ten Tantric goddesses and an aspect of the Hindu Divine Mother. She is considered to be the Tantric form of Sarasvati, the goddess of music and learning. Matangi governs speech, music, knowledge and the arts. Her worship is prescribed to acquire supernatural powers, especially gaining control over enemies, attracting people to oneself, acquiring mastery over the arts and gaining supreme knowledge. The actual Polynesian/Maori goddess of the underworld is Hine-nui-te-po. So yeah.
There is no way that tiny pig weighs 200 pounds. Also when Disney says the journey would be easier because Pua is like home, I'm pretty sure they mean easier mentally because Pua reminding her of home would make her happy.
