Winter Harbour episodes are my favorite. Justin have you thought of getting with a boat manufacturer and doing a few episodes based on the boats best suited for different areas such as the columbia buoy 10, middle columbia, puget sound big water tuna off the coast?? As a person in the market for a boat I would love to see them in action plus you could cross market them!
Has the fishing gotten worse, or we're there just more restrictions on limits. In previous years it appears that you guys caught more or had large limits. Just wondering :)
Christine Mair the fishing along the entire coast of british columbia has gotten worse. The ocean and the tributaries have steadily seen a decline in fish the DFO is constantly reducing the limits that we are allowed and this spring they closed the entire skeena river system for salmon retention until the 15 of july and it is still up in the air if they are going to let us keep chinook as the number are he lowest theve been in years. theve taken sockeye off the table already and wont open it until next year its so sad to see what is happening to are pristine waters that are steadily declining in fish and wildlife.
Nonsense. He's incredibly knowledgeable - I've seen him on Addicted Fishing, and he really really knows his stuff - more than you and I will know living 100 lifetimes.
I loved my trip to Winter Harbour. Now that my kids have grown up, it would be a great father/son trip.

The size limit on the halibut makes the fishing, by looking at the fish at the dock, seem worse.
The best thing you can do to keep your fish tasting good is the freezer in saltwater
