Winter Harbour Albacore Tuna & Lingcod

This year's Winter Harbour episode and the first to feature the incredible tuna fishing the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC can have. We load the boat with Tuna in the morning and then quickly grab our limits of Lingcod on the way back to Oli's Fishing Charters in Winter Harbour.

We had a great time at tuna fishing…caught over 30 in short time… hand fishing was lot of fun when you hit the school of tuna. The way the lines and rods were set , we had no tangles or lines cut by propellers. The boat was moving at quite the speed

You have some great content, but this is one of my favorites! The tuna was great. I can't imagine reeling them in while still trolling. Tough. The lingcod fishing makes me want to book a trip!

Experience mixed with skill. Just doing the opposite of what you try to with a fishing rod to keep them on the hook.

It's painful watching sport guys catch tuna. Commercial jigging and Jack pole will always be the way. You boys want a real taste of that action join the commercial fleet

In my opinion, and knowing a lot of commercial albacore fisherman outa Ilwaco you do not like how our boats are now built and reliable to go after em and these fish are some of the stupidest tuna and super easy to catch. I got 40 in half a day only 20 miles out. We were able to also get lingcod, halibut and salmon limits same day lol
