    Great video love to see how people clean coins many different ways to do it personal preference is the main one a you do a great job. I live in the UK plenty of Roman coins over here but I don't find that many. 2:28

    Can i ask a question on why the letters on in english and not greek if the coins were minted in greece or Rome? Really interested to find out

    beautiful, in what solution did you soak the coin before cleaning ? that look oilded

      Thanks! I only soak in distilled water - usually 2-14 days. It may have been previously oiled by a collector, who nows.

      Great suggestion! Each coin requires different approaches, so i tend not to get too detailed in each video. I'll try to expand on some of those things in the future.

    So we have a ton of found coinage, do we have any of the original stamps and dies as well? I'm assuming they're more rare, but would be cool to see one of those.

      Good question! Yes! Bur very few coin dies survived because the old/broken dies would be systematically meted down and recast to prevent counterfeiters using old dies. So it's VERY rare but you can google some examples. If i ever am lucky enough to get access to one i'd love to make a vid about it.
