Love your videos but please no music. It distracts from the information. Thanks!

Thank you for this useful video! I must agree with other posters. The music is a bit loud and competes with her voice, making it harder to hear what she is saying.

We're working on that for the future, so thanks for the feedback!

Hi, how would you add ease to a pattern you are drafting/changing?

  • @miriamgladen9615

Thank you for this explanation. But... I've already know that. What I'm trying to find is the amount of ease that is necessary for snug, loose or oversized fit. I understand that this might be individually designed for each pattern and person but is there a general amount of inches and a standard list? Thank you for answering and love from Germany

You are right that desired amounts of ease vary from person to person and design to design, but if you Google "ease chart" you will see many examples listing ease ranges for fitted, semi-fitted, loose, and oversized garments.

It's hard to hear you well with all the music.

If you're having trouble hearing, you can turn on the closed captions -- just hit the CC icon at the bottom of the video.

How do you calculate negative ease for stretch fabrics, given there are fabrics that are more stretchy than others.
