I want Sarasalan to return. I've always wanted a Super Luigi Land kind of game where Luigi goes after Daisy. It would be funny to see how Daisy even if kidnapped is giving a hard time to her captors, while the meek Luigi ventures to go and find her.
Knowing Daisy’s personality I would want her to be a playable character fighting for her kingdom.
We really need to see Sarasaland and Daisy again... seriously! Sarasaland could be awesome in color or something and his enemies should return. We can watch Sarasaland only on Super Mario Land and a small reference in Super Mario Maker(with an awesome costume), but the last one does not count.
Sarasaland have a lot of potential, Daisy have a lot of potential and maybe Tatanga should return. READ THIS NINTENDO!
I was hoping Tatanga would have shown up as boss in one of the Mario Galaxy games, or at least have some kind of cameo.
Well tatanga is an alien after all. So it would Mack sense.

I'd love to see Sarasaland as a secret world in a 3D Mario Game, with levels remade in 3D, and Daisy as an unlockable character once you finish it !
I want Tatanga back in the series, i was so annoyed when galaxy had no mention of him or even easter egg, i mean come on you have a game taking place in space but you don't reference the actual alien in the series, that is such a missed opportunity. even if they brought him back like daisy, like his space ship could easily be refitted into a kart

Nice to see Daisy's fascinating kingdom get a little more recognition. I hope Daisy will become playable in a future canon Mario title, as well as have Sarasaland as on of the worlds.
Or at least use it for her home stage/track/court/stadium in the spin-off games where she continues to appear.

Elvarg RS To be honest. I'm biased against Metriod fanbase. When blast ball came out and all the Metriod fans hated it ,and tried to cancel it. I know how hard programing games are, and all the work it takes to make it.

I like the idea of a missing in action episode concerning Knuckles' actual involvement with angel island and the master emerald.. Not incredibly interesting, but still. His role as guardian seems to have been either revoked or completely abandoned

Missing in Action: What the hell happened to the Legendary Starfy games
There were like 4 or 5 in Japan, and Nintendo brought them over to America with the titular game, The Legendary Starfy, and then just vanished. Nintendo acknowledges it exists, with Starfy bring an assist trophy in Brawl and Sm4sh. So why no new game in years?
So...when is this show gonna fall off the face of the earth and die like "Know Your Enemy" and "Cool Bits?"
Let's not think about that now and just enjoy the show. ^^

Nintendo should create Daisy’s own game just like Super Princess Peach or Yoshi’s island a modern version of Daisy and Sarasaland !
Sarasaland should be a dlc kingdom for Mario Odyssey. It would be amazing.
I think it's missing because Miyamoto didn't made Super Mario Land, so I guess he doesn't want to tamper with other's work for that kingdom.

I'd love to see more Sarasaland and Tatanga. Just mixing up the setting for once would be a super cool way to keep things fresh in a modern Mario game. Or a Luigi game. It'd be great to see such an inspired place get an actual 3D treatment.

It's been missing because it wasn't created by Miyamato. Today every Mario game requires the Miyamoto seal of approval and he's not fond of anything non-Miyamoto.
That's why the last two Mario RPGs don't have any characters that he didn't create.

+Quinten Hines It very much seems like it. He instructed the developers of Sticker Star to only use characters from the main series of Mario games and it seems like he did the same for Paper Jam. There's also almost never any reference to the Mario Land series in other Mario games.

I agree that Mario and his pals should take more trips to Sarasaland and Mario Island.I would love if a new Mario game( whether it be Paper Mario or Galaxy) have Tatanga, Wario, and Waluigi cause some mischief again,leaving only Mario and his crew to set things right.
+ShyGuyXXL I kind of get the feeling that Miyamoto is getting stingy with the series too. The Mario side-games, and even the main series Mario games were interesting when creators were allowed to come up with new concepts and take Mario to different environments. The path he's taking with the RPG series in particular is going to lead towards a stagnation of the franchise.
Not even characters that are considered main Mario characters are referenced in later main Mario games. Has Wario ever been even slightly referenced or hinted at in a main Mario game since Super Mario Land 2? Never.
But if you want a _really_ rare form of a Mario powerup for the next MIA episode?
Bomb Mario. The form that Mario takes when he erases a file in Super Mario Land 2. Unlike Shell Mario in NSMB, which, while it is only ever used in that game, is at least used in most of said game, Bomb Mario is literally only used for one purpose. To walk around above three pipes waiting to destroy all the sewerage (that coincidentally looks like Marioland with a sea and some levels)

I think Tatanga could be reintroduced as a secret miniboss in the next main series Mario game. I think that would be pretty cool.

Missing in Action: Vaati the Minish! So much potential, he could easily be used in Hyrule Warriors as a rep for the FS games or a new LoZ game but Nintendo ignore him. If we went by the timeline, he could still be alive in the Adult timeline and the Decline timeline.

Daisy will appear as a playable character in Super Mario Bros Wonder and if it is true a Sarasaland themed course will appear in Mario Kart Tour and in 8DX in wave 6. The track is currently unseen with the datamined code "MOB DK".

My #1 choice would be Mallow and Geno from Super Mario RPG. :-)
My #2 choice: All of Mario and Luigi's previous homes. Mario's had a castle (SML2), a pad (SMRPG), and a house he's shared with Luigi (Paper Mario series). Luigi's also had a home of his own (Luigi's Mansion series). Have I missed any? And what's with all these changes of address?
You know who's missing in action? Shadow MARIO. He was such a cool concept, but he seems to have been forgotten.
Doesn't Smash 4 count though? There was also Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. Shadow Mario appeared in both those games, as a playable character and when Bowser Jr. (or the Koopalings) transform into him for the Final Smash.

I don't necessarily want to see Sarasaland return, but I'd definitely like a main series Mario game featuring Daisy again. There could be a game where there are many different Kingdoms that Mario could explore, all ruled by different princesses, Daisy being one of them. I want to see Mario leave the Mushroom Kingdom more often, and see new characters, as well as old characters we haven't seen in awhile.

not only would I like to see Sarasaland return, I'd love to just see more of the side cast having an impact in the main Mario games. Just imagine bowser teaming up with Wario and Waluigi, with Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina working together with Mario and Luigi to stop this diabolical team of villains.

Man I love this game! I remember going with my dad to a pawn shop to buy it when I was like 4 or 5. It was one of the first games I ever beat and new all of the secrets. And that music... Easily one of the best in Mario's history!

I’ve always been surprised how underused daisy is. They could’ve had an entire spinoff series where daisy is constantly saving Luigi considering he seems helpless.

Derrick, Sarasaland has also been mentioned in mario and sonic at the olympic winter games for the nintendo DS. Every character has a description and Sarasaland is mentioned in daisy her description.

This is what id love the new 3d mario successor to be based on. The pyramid theme already exists in mario 64 but id love to see more or mario lands themes realised and built on in a 3d mario successor.

I can't help but wonder if Mario Odyssey took inspiration from Sarasaland, especially with the Sand Kingdom, for it's real world inspired Kingdoms. They had a golden opportunity for some Mario Land references with that game. Sarasaland would be awesome to explore in some DLC.
Sarasaland is mentioned in the wii u port of Bayonetta, as well.
The Daisy costume references it in its description, and I believe it's also called something about Sarasaland.
Sarasaland is actually mentioned in Daisy's profile in many of the Mario & Sonic games; most recently, in the 2014 Sochi Winter Games.

Sarasaland, Mario Land, and Kitchen Island all need to make a return. The Super Mario Land games and later the Wario Land games that they would spawn were amazing.
I loved this game. It was very short and I finished it really fast in one night, but it is awesome. I really miss Sarasa Land, it was a very unique place where Mario has been.

Here's something that I'd want you to cover in the next episode: A power-up (or sort of a quasi-power-up) that hasn't been seen since 1991, but has been recently mentioned in a game for the Wii released in 2009 and has become "popularized" on various websites.

Loved Super Mario Land and the way it connected to Super Mario Land 2 and Wario Land into a plot.
This is my personal favorite Mario game, I've always wanted a true sequel to Super Mario Land with the same graphical style, music style, and more levels. I know it'll never happen but if they could do that it'd be pretty sweet

Now that you bring it up, it'd actually be really cool seeing Sarasaland return. I never realized how inspired each of its areas were, and that really stands out from the now-cliche themed worlds that Mario platformers have begun to rely on.
