😂 it definitely was the glasses. VN sounded amazing, what exhaust was that? I’m running an AFe midpipe on my Kona N and it sounds much higher pitched than yours.
After Dan told about his cappuccino build I could only think how I’m like him. A very unique, fast build with a shit ton of unique tech made specifically for that car. It just reminds me how I wanted to do something like that. Or maybe EV swap something silly, sporty and fun with some powerful electric engines
but given his height limitations its odd why he doesnt aim for a honda s660 to give a bit more height and modern features, unless its a cost thing as a cap would be way less then a 660
@@ProtosR with a custom interior he can drop the seat rails and get a few more inches out of it, i had to do it with my old NA miata i couldn't fit with my neck straight
What makes me sad is that it won't have it's own video since they don't have a car focused channel. They have more employees into car than I thought. If they have found a balance for their video output then it might be time to start a car channel now.
i’ve gained a lot of respect for LTT and it’s crew. i’ve always loved them and their videos and considered them to be awesome people but now i consider them to be my kind of people. awesome cars, badass computers and just awesome people in general. what i wouldn’t give to be part of their team.

@18:46 You can definitely tell it's Linus' car: he's got the label maker out again and is labelling the bleeding obvious. Great video really enjoying it so far even if I am not a car person.
Recovering SysAdmin, now DevOps engineer checking in. Definitely an awesome collaboration, I’ve been watching y’all both for a while now. Your car content is great and why I started watching you but also those couple of vids with the breakdown of you IRL backpack setup, remote and home, were awesome too.
I literally discovered your channel because it was on my suggested feeds on TH-cam, because you were at LMG. A crossover we didn't expect but much appreciated, and yes, there are a lot of people who are into tech are also into cars, as you have clearly shown in this video. You just found yourself a new sub. :)
35:04 he can just get an SMG to manual conversion kit, way more cost effective and you don't have to wait for your smg to blow up, just get a shop to modify the bell housing, get all necessary clutch components like master and slave cylinders, pedal, shifter, wiring etc and then code the DME of the car a decent amount of work but from what I've seen it's not a terribly hard job compared to dealing with the V10 on this m5 lol
Bro this video was actually so damn good! I didn't know Jake had a whole shop and all the employees showing off their car was so damn cool! It was actually awesome af when you and the other employee in the lab started speaking Japanese! This is my first time ever watching this dude, but after this video I gotta subscribe and check out the other videos!
Or something more durable. Even like a low carbon steel or a plated driver. I found my screwdriver got scratched pretty bad after putting it in my tool bag.
LTT Automotive Enthusiast Screwdriver: - Shaft: Titanium. Different possible finishes like; raw, polished, brushed or burnt. - Body: Obviously, carbon fiber! Different possible finishes like; raw, gloss and color tinted exposed carbon fiber like you’d find on the McLaren Senna. - Accent Ring: Brushed aluminum with a wide ray of anodized color finishes. - Butt End/Bit Storage Cap: probably not possible due to its size but perforated leather wrapped with a 6 speed transmission pattern badge on top.
I would be stoked to see more programming related car videos. There are plenty for hardware but there is so much software now and just learning about all the behind the scenes stuff like OBD would be nice.
The crossover between IT and Automotive shit is huge. I think it comes from a common attitude of "I bet I can fix this." I never saw your channel before, but subbed.
Really cool to see two of my most watched creators in one video. Congrats. Would have also been cool to do a track day and take them all for rides. But I am sure scheduling for something like that would be impossible. Also with the IT and Cars cross over, I am a Software Engineer and a Car enthusiast. I never noticed the IT/Cars cross over before but thinking about it most of my co workers are into cars as well.
I think the main thing for automotive screwdrivers is just it being able to handle decent torque. As long as it has the most common bits it should be good.
Not only is this super cool, but it's an amazing time for this because people get to see the personality behind the LTT/LMG teams. Its sick Also, SAMMIT pink LTT screw driver?? what an idea
What a collab 😂 never knew I needed to watch this.. And yeah the crossover between IT people and car people is huge. Every IT co worker knows car stuff and drive some pretty cool cars
This is an amazing video! I was wondering who else you planned to visit in Canada and I'm so glad that you got to hang with the crew from LMG. I have been wondering for ages if y'all would collaborate. Now we just need them to visit Japan!
ltt automotive screwdriver would be rubberized bits and an actually decent swivel attachment, also a magnet stick that is like a cheap retractable one but with the ltt magnet
An automotive screwdriver hmmm. I think there are 2 things I would love most that might be impossible. a 10mm socket and then an extendable magnet for when you drop the socket in the engine bay.
It was really cool to actually see this side of Linus Tech tips between Luke and Linus and Jake and all of them to actually know their car people as well and it's cool that you got this opportunity Nami have to go buy them on their own channel😂
18:53 think something like an Volkswagen ID Buzz would be perfect for this, already has all the electrical work done and the battery is big enough to run a gaming PC 6 hours per day every day for over 2 months straight, so you don't even need to do work with the solar panels.
Sam! Dude! I opened youtube, saw the thumbnail and thought “hey, new LTT upload”! Then I noticed the channel name and went “wait, WHAT”? Read the video title and went “NO WAY”! Didn’t even crossed my mind that you’d do a collab with LTT, this was freaking dope! For a automotive Screw driver - Chemical Resistant Rubber Coating. Longer Shaft or the ability to switch the shaft out for a much longer one for those hard to reach places. Of course a 10mm socket.
For an automotive and or general industry screw driver, would love to see a screwdriver that has an actual 1/4" socketed head that isn't beveled for the tip, but slightly rounded to allow bits to still be inserted with general ease. Then add a 3/8" & 1/2" sockets hidden/ recessed in the handle. With maybe a 3 or 4 bit holder in the handle still. That would be an ideal driver for door installers or general industry work but could see that being helpful via automotive and general engineering/building jobs
