Magician's Red would be a huge counter to Sheer Heart Attack the moment Avdol realizes it targets the hottest thing in the room. His stand can control the heat & temperature in a room and redirect it.

I think something to keep in mind is that Stand Users are attracted to other Stand Users, meaning eventually, the Crusaders WILL run into Kira no matter what. so, I think the question is more, can Kira 'Hol Horse and Boingo' his way into killing off the Crusaders one by one once he discovers they're after him.
That is kinda relative tho, isn't it? I mean, the Josuke-gang DID infact run into Kira by accident one time, but it was before either side of the conflict even knew that they were in conflict with each other. The crusaders would probably also run into him by chance due to the Stand User-gravity, but it is not a given that this meeting would be of any use because the original one already wasn't.

@@lpfan4491fair. But I do feel like the Crusaders also do a better job of realizing when something’s off and figuring out why. Either by their intuition or by sheer luck usually at least ONE of them gets a clue. So prob by a combo of Hermit Purple clues and some bad luck, I can see like Kakyoin stumbling into Kira, the first time paying him no mind, but the 2nd time realizing something is off with him. Then probably gets Killer Queen’d but leaves a message which Joseph deduces.
They definitely could’ve since they are arguably the wittiest of the squads in Jojos.
Imagine josephs luck with him running into kira and seeing the hand hes carrying and thats how they get him

@@highcaliber350then why didn’t they do that? He was in part 4, and he was in Morioh with Jotaro at the time. The answer is that they could only track DIO because they already knew exactly who he was. They didn’t even know Kira’s name until they were in the middle of combat, and just a few minutes later he completely changed his identity.

@@NeedyBoBeedy he has the mental capacity to RAISE A CHILD WHO COULD TURN INVISIBLE, as a single parent no less, so I imagine he has plenty of mental capacity to be able to use his stand.
One thing i think should potentially be considered is Polnareff's ability to find Diavolo, the guy who does not want to be found. Although, that could be thrown out if you think that Polnareff only became that good after Stardust Crusaders.
While bringing up the speedwagon foundation investigating oddities in morioh, you neglected to mention the biggest non-stand user phenomenon in the town, the Ghost Alley! If any of the crusaders stumbled upon Reimi, they would take her warning extremly seriously (unlike Rohan), and would therefor have a specific concept for hermit purple to focus on. I think using this method, they could find him no problem.
Or they could keep taking photos after each stand user and he desire the photo of the closest stand user they haven't fought or something similar that makes the people they have cleared of being the serial killer Kira
5 Adults who are some of the smartest out of all the main cast teams who can spend all their time, in addition to assistance from the SPW foundation + basically a stand user dog who can defend itself pretty well.
They have range from Kakyoin, Sheer Heart Attack is no longer an issue with Avdol, and even if it takes forever, the stardust crusaders just shit on everyone until its literally only Kira left. The moment the crusaders arrive Kira is on a timer, regardless of how perfect he is with covering his tracks.

For me, it depends on what the starting point is for the investigation. Without Shigechi, the Duwang gang wouldn’t have their lead on him. So if we say “they’re just looking for him bc...” then they’re probably not crossing paths. But if we say “the Crusaders go after him after Shigechi” then they more than likely catch him at the tailor shop
Yeah like, it takes a specific, notable death, from someone who would somehow be able to leave behind some kind of message or minute evidence, for anyone else to be able to find Kira.
Like, if Kira were to kill Josuke's mom, for example.
Realistically the Stardust Crusaders would need to split into teams of two after lets say the hired hands from the Speedwagon Foundation find possible Stand users that are causing issues. The two teams would be Jotaro, Kakyoin, and Avdol then Joseph, Polnareff, and Iggy.
This is because both teams have a powerful user (Jotaro and Polnareff) and someone with a form of tracking (Avdol, Joseph, and technically Iggy with his nose).
Now realistically, I don't see them finding Kira unless Avdol literally walks around with Magicians Red and tries to 'scare' Stand users into a confrontation. He could use Life Detector and watch for any person whose body heat raises, because only a Stand user would see Magician's Red and be somewhat worried, and then he could use Red Bind to constrict Kira and ward away Sheer Heart Attack if it was already summoned.

That's honestly a genius strategy! I feel like they'd only use it as a last resort if they find no other way of finding Kira, as scare tactics are admittedly not very heroic, but it'd still be a pretty harmless scare, so it's something they could consider. Good idea!
The only potential flaw I can see with this plan is Kira actually kept his cool remarkably well when Shigekiyo pulled out [Harvest], even despite not knowing that other people could also have stand abilities or that they were called stands until Shigeki used the term. He just knew about his own [Killer Queen] and his father, so seeing Avdol roaming with an active [Magician's Red] should certainly have some impact as it'd be him first finding out that other people also have stands, but that in itself might not prompt much of a reaction from him.
The first time we see Kira eating that sandwich with the hand he said that it was starting to smell. If and ONLY IF, the SDC or even just iggy were in the general area he could possibly catch the scent of the hand either as Kira gets rid of it or shortly after

I'd love to see this scenario for Passione at some point in the future.
I think Passione has so many versatile stands at their disposal it would be hard for Kira to hide especially considering they can track him from the air. If they have to square off close range I think Kira struggles with Bruno and gets crushed by Giorno no GER even required.

The question I would have is what reason/motivation would the stardust crusaders have to start an investigation on Yoshikage Kira? Maybe a member of the speedwagon foundation went missing in Morio and the more agents that went looking for him kept vanishing? Anyway love this video Kaleb!
I mean, Spirit Photography with Joseph is already crazy enough, not to mention it does have some limited fighting ability. But then you bring in Magicians Red which is a direct counter to one of Kira's biggest abilities? Not to mention they're teamwork is crazy and they'll be close by each other almost all the time making it nearly impossible for him to pick them off one by one. This has also been brought up already but Speed Wagon foundation would go hard, like CRAZY CRAZY hard, if it's allowed. Already mentioned in the video but Kakoyins range and Iggy's, well, being a dog, literally makes this team perfect for this situation. The only problem I see is Polnareff maybe honestly being more of a bane to the group, like a younger Polnareff we see in the first half of SC, but even Jotaro in part 3 was very intelligent and perceptive, he just leaned into it more so with age.
You know.. if they just *removed* all the stand users they found, then that would eventually clear up the area enough to spot kira

Here's a thought: the smell of the rotting hands set off Iggy. Kira does use perfume to cover the scent, but that wouldn't really work for a dog. Similar to how Shigechi stole the sandwich bag, Iggy would probably take the bag with the hand and bring it back to the crusaders or something or even just outright attack Kira in broad daylight, causing him to lose control of the situation and drop the hand.

Kira is definitely more of a psychopath than a sociopath because hes not terribly violent (he just wants to live a quiet life).
Sociopathy is an obsolete term in psycholog but used in pop psych which I don't recommend taking seriously. Psychopathy is a well-researched concept but isn't a diagnosis. He's a psychopath (fits the concept) who would likely be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder (shows signs of symptoms). He doesn't care for others, feels no remorse, manipulates, has poor impulse control leading to criminal behaviour, etc.

I found the lack of talk about Kakyoin's ability a bit strange, but the more I think about it, the less we saw him playing detective in SC. I still think his feats during the Death 13 and the Tower of Grey arc shows his ability to move one step ahead of his opponent, which could trip up Kira
But I don't think he would have any whereabouts. Sure if Kakyoin was given the sources to track Kira down he could, but that would be a lot of sources.
you forgot one thing: dogs can smell dead bodies through several feet of dirt, all they need to do is to have iggy find the guy who's carrying a hand in a paper bag and in case you're wondering, no the perfume he uses would not fool a dog.
hell even irl cops would find kira eventually because the cadaver dogs would smell the hand in his bag.

A video idea, how far into A Certain Magical Index would a JoJo team get?
I mean if we assume the Crusaders crew run into Reimi, that’s probably what brings the Crusaders to directly search for Kira in the midst of Morioh’s madness. And let’s be real in DIU the only one who actually cared ab detective work was Jotaro. EVERY ONE of the Crusaders is capable of high level detective work, especially when given clues. And they have such a wealth of experience/ powers.
That team make up combined with Joseph/ Polnareff’s sheer luck, Stand User gravity, and the fact that the Crusaders have much more experience recognizing/dealing with cunning stand users esp with the instincts of Avdol/ Iggy, I could see Kakyoin being the Shigechi here: accidentally running into Kira after committing a murder, getting Killer Queen’d, but leaving a message that the Crusaders would eventually decode. Def high difficulty but I think it’s realistic. When the Crusaders set their mind on something they can really get a lot done.
The only other hiccup is if the Crusaders back Kira into a corner and he activates Bites The Dust on a stranger, it’s GG. I could see Kira’s dad realizing the Crusaders are onto Kira and using the arrow to save him? But also the use of Bites The Dust was so specific idk if Kira could use it in literally any other scenario besides DiU
Yoshikage "Wouldn't lose to anyone" Kira would get absolutely blasted by Jotaro "Star Finger" Kujo, Joseph "I killed several ancient gods" Joestar, Noriaki "I can control people and also shoot out a wide area attack that's nearly impossible to deflect" Kakyoin, Mohammad "Shangri-la Frontier MC but with fire" Avdol and Pierre "I can pierce five coins and five flames in a millisecond as well as your mother" Polnareff. And Iggy, whose stand is a few hundred thousand sand grains which Kira would have to explode individually
Polnareff is weak and pathetic.
I'd love to see you do a video of what characters from other franchises (L from Death Note, Conan Edogawa from Detective Conan, etc) could catch Yoshikage Kira or even Diavolo and how.
I have a few solutions/ideas in my head for how they'd win.
1. Similar to when the The group finds one of Kira's Buttons that fell off, they coukd have either a button OR a patch of clothing fall off of his outfit during some sort of situation involving Kira, and then Iggy gives it a sniff and starts searching for him.
2. Joseph uses Hermit Purple and desires to gind the Serial Killer. Because in the way you were saying it, you make it sound like he'd desire for it to find a stand user when it reality he'd smash a camera while looking for Kira. Then theyd have a photo to search the town with looking for him.
3. (The funny AND best option imo)
Polnareff goes out for lunch and buys a sandwhich from the same place as Kira like Shigechi before bumping into him and taking his bag with the hidden hand by mistake. This could either lead to Polnareff seeing the hand and going to the Crusaders, OR Kira figthing him and getting a piece of his outfit torn off, with him calling Jotaro for help with "Sheer Heart Attack" which Kira would inevitably use when he realizes he's outmatched by Silver Chariot. After this, a fight similar or the same to the one between Jotaro and Sheer Heart Attack would happen with the Crusaders winning and finding the piece of clothing, getting it to Iggy, the group finding Kira before finally getting into an all out brawl that Kira loses and takes a stolen identity like he does in Part 4, which would lead to them now knowing Kira's name and asking Hermit Purple to "Find Yoshikage Kira" only for it to show the face of whoever's Identity he stole, which would lead to them getting yet another final battle between Kira and the gang where he tried his hardest with "Bites The Dust" and the Cat Stand thing with the bubbles, only to eventually lose to the Crusaders.
So a couple things - firstly, the Morioh Crew were ABSOLUTELY closing in on Kira regardless of Hayato. In fact, arguably, Hayato set them back a bit because he caused the event that led to Kira obtaining Bites the Dust and put everyone getting close in an immediate danger they couldn’t possibly have been aware of.
But it WAS possible to get close to him, and even if they’ve lost Jotaro, they’ve GAINED Joseph - not his stand, HIM without his old age issues, AND Avdol, who are both just as experienced as Jotaro was. If Jotaro was able to start getting close to Kira, then they 100% would’ve been able to stumble across him at some point - close enough I reckon that he’d end up sending Sheer Heart Attack after them, and then, well…
The second he lets that thing loose on them he’s honestly done. The Stardust Crusader’s ability to work against long range stands and consistently managing to track down the owner before they get ended is probably the most impressive out of anybody in the series, and given that SHA has to actively go back to Kira eventually I can’t see them losing this at all unless Avdol accidentally nukes the town by using Magician’s Red directly on SHA right out of the gate.
And once they find him… Yeah, there’s no way he gets away from them.
… Unless he somehow gets Bites the Dust before they get close, in which case, to be totally honest, he probably wins unless gravity gives them some insane luck like what happened with the Morioh crew and Hayato.
I think if it simply comes down to them investigating each of the suspects shown by hermit purple either in groups or one at a time, and in that way they can narrow down the criteria for hermit purple to find Kira.
the most important thing about this mind experiment is that Polnareff would be able to eat that italian blondie's food

Rubber Soul/Yellow Temperance would be better than kira tbh. Kira is a terrible fighter and Mahito would probably blitz him.

@@thegreatgamingkid8252mahito most likely is anywhere from .3 Mach or Mach 1 you can scale him off of Shibuya Nobara, Todo, and Yuji. JoJo's characters aren't fast like that in travel speed but in reaction time most of them are light speed so Kira may be able to dodge it

@imbampir Finally! Someone got it right! In terms of movement speed (acceptions aside), they aren't unnaturally fast. However, their reaction speeds can be well over the speed of light.
I think that because it was known that many women had disappeared in Morioh, they would probably be looking into it, so even if they didn't connect them directly with Kira, they would have Iggy sniffing any trace of corpse or women scent, which if they as much as pass near Kira, Iggy would get startle and they would at the least press him into an unavoidable fight, or Jotaro would just use star platinum's precision to make a very convincing fake out attack so Kira has to reveal Killer Queen, or just do what Josuke did and try to trick him into giving himself away. Also in the scenario where Kira manages to escape the Crusaders, pursuing him is actually a lot easier when you have the combination of a competent Joseph that can now use Hermit Purple to track him, Iggy's nose and Avdol's overlooked life detector, I think Kira would have a very hard time getting them off his tail and that's without counting Kakyoin's Hierophant Green's range, which would make an escape very difficult, I think they can pull it off, but that just what I think.

Okay so the best benefit this crew has that comes to mind is Joseph's deductive reasoning. While not focused on much in part 3 his "your next line is" trick was because he could read people well... I'm not sure the exact process they'd catch Kira, but it is noteworthy for a detective arc

Polnaref is a literal villain magnet. He'll probably bump into kira with a severe hand in a sandwich bag which Kira will drop after Polnaref bumps onto him. Kira will yap how hes found out and polnaref with his speedy silver chariot will blitz him

Polnereff prolly makes it more personal, his sister was murdered, he would relate to these serial killings. Things could go like part 5, he finds the id, fights and loses. But can now pass on new info that the team uses to finish the later final fight.
I'm thinking spread Herifant green around the city and use it as a basically CCTV System to keep an eye on the city. THat is their best opportunity.
I’m pretty sure it only stretches so far. There’s a scene about it in part three. It has limits.

The scenario would probably be something along the likes of the Speedwagon Foundation investigating “mysterious disappearances in a small Japanese town” and sending the Crusaders because it seems to be the work of an enemy stand user. While Kira doesn’t leave evidence, he does probably leave a smell that Iggy could pick up. So, they investigate some of the disappearances, Iggy would find a smell, and then locate Kira. And with Magicians Red hard countering SHA, as well as the sheer overpoweredness of SPTW and time stop, I think they should be totally fine finding Kira in a reasonable amount of time (while probably also taking care of Angelo in the meantime)
I partially agree except I think Kira would definitely kill Iggy in a scene not unlike how he dealt with Shigeshi. My thinking is they have Iggy track him but then lose the scent at the school prompting everyone to split up and search the grounds. Iggy would eventually pick back up on the scent or better yet the scent of the hand and confront Kira only to be silently blown up leaving only some sand behind or something to mark where he died.
From there the story progresses more or less the same albeit with the Sheer Heart Attack fight being much shorter. However Kira would still escape there and late with Three Freeze he will escape again much faster likely avoiding a confrontation all together.

I think Iggy gets smoked in the exact same way as Shigechi. Hungry dog smells and tries to nab a sandwich, finds that the guy eating it has a severed hand, hell iirc there literally is a dog trying to take Kira's stuff in that episode. Kira could recognize that the dog is smart and reacting to his stand, but if Iggy tracks him by smell, he's only interacting with things Killer Queen has already touched. A small sand-pile of the Fool can deliver the button to the Crusaders before being dispersed by the wind

I know exactly how they would beat the kira case josuke uses crazy diamond to track the DNA from the tapes to missa missa finds out she's in cahoots with lights and then fuses them with their books if it was a roulette to see which show star they'd get they die to everybody except josuke and Jonathan Jonathan would never kill a teenager and he would get killed for that meanwhile josuke with just fuse them to an object forever
well...there is one variable that can help them heavely... that victim girl in the ghost ally ....she could guide them in a direction at least....they can set speedwagon foundation people to investigate diffrent people , and either he sees kira going around with a hand , or kira kills him , and the girl sees his soul in the ally . when they know that this specific agent died , they can narrow it down to the indeviduals that agent was tracing.... then it is easier for them.... it is based on luck , but with enough time , speedwagon foundation agents can monitor almost all the citizens of morioh , and find kira...
I think if they walk around enough eventually they’ll cross paths and iggy will be like hey wtf that smells like a dead person and they find the severed hand

If Joseph could find Otoishi Akira (that was literally the reason of his trip in part 4), he could reveal Kira as well.
One thing to mention without the Morioh warriors the amount of stands in Morioh would be a lot less along with a younger Joseph maybe Hermit Purple could have a better chance to track down Kira.

I feel the best bet is avdul trying to find evidence by doing some Fortune telling in the street and kira being opposed with luck might go to avdul and might find something to get kira and again we seen avdul fortune telling and how good it is we just know he is

When I read this, I thought he said "could the stardust crusaders do your homework?"
This reminds me of an old forum post I read many over a decade ago about anime VS discussions. It ended up coming down to a question of “Well sure, this character can blow up a planet but can he do your homework.” The poster then used this framework to describe why Kazuma from the s-CRY-ed manga specifically was in fact the most powerful anime character since his Death Bullet ability essentially boils down to “Kazuma punches a thing and then whatever he wants to happen happens.” This is pretty accurate to the manga. The one time he missed a punch his fist literally ripped through time and was the “asteroid” that killed the dinosaurs. Yes. That actually happened in the manga. So, the argument then became that yes, Kazuma despite being an idiot could do the homework because he would punch it, and while the punch would destroy the surrounding city or possibly more, the homework would be properly filled out and finished.
Once they get a good hint, Part Three squad bodies Kira. Avdol will crush Sheer Heart Attack, Joseph was younger and will be able to use Hamon which will throw - not just a wrench - a whole freakin' toolbox into Kira's fighting strategy, and Iggy with the nose. Joseph and Jotaro will be able to beat Kira in a fight.
The main problem will be just trying to find a clue to start the investigation with in general, but once there's a solid piece to go off of, Hermit Purple and Iggy will track him down lickity-split.

I think they can catch him, let's lay down how it would turn out. My take here is that all the canon events happen, alas they will differ. For example Shigechi stills dies, Aya dies, etc. But how the crusaders know about them, im going to break down each crusader down
Jotaro and Joseph: They will play out the same as they did in DIU, nothing will chance, the only minor change that I think would happen is that Jotaro will have a better time stop since he is fighting more and more, however i don't think he would have 5 sec. maybe 3 max.
Avdol: He might not have connections in Morioh, but he may still have connections around Japan, and he can help gather information as a "fortune teller" remember Morioh is know for its exccentric places you can visit, maybe Avdol opens a store of his own, he might end up running into another stand user since they attract each other, also he can counter Shear Heart Attack.
Kakyoin: He can help Jotaro in his reasearch by doing "field research" meaning he spends his time walking and meeting people in Morioh, also Hierophant has range, my setup here is that Kakyion meets Shigechi at some point, and he sees himself in shigechi, let's remember they both didn't have friends before since they have stands. Shigechi can look up at Kakyion as a big brother, and work the relationship from there.
Polnareff: He can work at the school as the new "french teacher" and find information from his adult peers, also when Shigechi dies at school he hands down the button from Kira's shirt to Polnareff. Also he is the most likely to run into stand users, let's say one day Polnaref was walking the morioh streets and he ends up in Aya's salon.
Iggy: He might not be that useful, can't figure out his part in this play.
as i stated before when Shigechi dies he hands down the button to Polnareff. Then He, and Jotaro go into the tailor's shop, fight shear heart attack, then comes Avdol and Polnareff to save the day. Kira sees that shear heart attacks is not working since it's BODIED by Magicians Red. He reveals himself but manages to flee, that's when Kakyion or Iggy might kick in and look for Kira into Aya's shop. After that I think everything plays out as in DIU, but the one who takes the photos around morioh is Kakyion/Avdol instead of Rohan.

I believe they would eventually run into each other because of the "magnetic" fate effect that attracts stand users to one another. It's a really lame answer since it's like "the writer would want it to happen" but I think this is correct

Before watching the video, my first thougt is for Joseph to spam spirot photography over and over again to fond every stand user in morio and check all of them out

The Stardust Crusaders could probably snag Kira eventually just by following the disappearances. Assuming they knew they were going there specifically to investigate the creation of Stand users, they’d probably find the arrow fairly soon with Hermit Purple looking for that, and them have Joseph read Bad Company’s user’s mind. They’d go check up on the various users, best them all, and eventually find their way to Rohan if not Kira himself. Rohan would find the ghost alley and tell them about it, Joseph would be worried she was related to the pillarmen/vampires, and that would put them on the scent. Then they’d follow the disappearances, each tracking them in their own way, but coming up empty because no evidence. Given their thorough search beforehand, Joseph should be able to get a picture of some of the users made by the second arrow, and eventually find their way to it and to Kira’s home. They’d end up confronting him and his dad, and probably be able to either drive him off or at least escape and survive.
Let’s assume Kira goes to Cinderella as normal to hide again, just for the sake of argument, but now the gang is on the hunt for any signs of him. Let’s assume he gets another single dude, just so he has the absolute highest chance of vanishing again. They have a series of episodic adventures going after everyone who got the second arrow stab, eventually find him again and have the advantage (and since his dad didn’t get free they don’t have to worry about others) and take him out.
Morioh Warriors already proved they can.

(And quick note for the “kill everybody” idea. I can’t think of a single stand in part 3 that actually has the ability to wipe out a whole town fast enough they could guarantee no evacuation and thus Kira vanishes with the arrows again.)
Part 5:
Could Doppio & Diavolo find the arrows, assuming he wanted them back for some reason and didn’t trust anybody else to bring them back?

Since this isn't the TV world they wouldn't have access to their personas and even if they did they have no way to find kira unless he makes a mistake.

That's true. But do they know that he is the murderer? No. This exact thing happened to Josuke. Kira drove past them, and they even talked to each other, albeit breifly. They had no idea who the other person was.

I remember Koichi having a internal monolouge about how Morioh has a abnoramally high rate missing persons (which I imagine is mostly women), what if the speedwagon foundation dug up info so Jotaro would have an easier time navigating stumbled upon police reports? I feel like that would be enough to make the Stardust Crusaders aware that shit isn't right in this town aside from being filled with stand users, hey don't even need to find out about Kira's crimes when he was a kid with no stand.
The only problem is that you still need Kira to make a mistake for any of this info to be useful. When you think about it the Morioh Warriors got lucky, Rohan had ties to Reimi's murder and if only that sick bastard left the servered hand in the breast pocket all suit wearing anime characters have Shigechi would never have died.
We would probably have an instance of Iggy being with either Avdol or Joseph at the sandwich shop, Iggy would smell the hand, act aggressive, and that would be enough for Avdol or Joseph to know that something is going on. Kira would then need to kill Iggy and whichever the two he is with right then and there or the he will get smoked on the spot when the all Crusaders regroup. Hell, if they end up going the same route as DiU crew did, they would end up at the tailor's at the same time as Kira, but Avdol would be able to hard counter Sheer Heart Attack while Joseph or Kakyoin's Stands would prevent Kira from escaping.
Honestly, the first encounter spells doom for Kira. He won't even have time to develop his Stand powers up to Killer Queen.
