- “Camaro Z/28 and Chevelle SS 396 Zap Competition” is a training film that was sent to Chevrolet dealers in early 1969. This film compares some features of the Camaro Z/28 to the Mustang Mach 1. It also compares the Chevelle SS 396 to the Ford Cobra and Plymouth Road Runner. This film was intended for internal use at the Chevrolet dealership to educate the sales staff and was not shown publicly.

69 Camaro my favorite car in the entire world and that was my first car when I was 16 then I had another at about 19 years old.
My dad's brother bought a brand new 1969 Chevelle Supersport 396 350hp had a vinyl top black interior dark blue
This 69 Chevelle Supersport was bought just after l was Born the sad thing about it racing and won 🏆 a lot but rapped it Around the Tree 🌳 😭😭😭😭
That 302 was one of the best engines Chevy ever built. The short stroke meant it would wind up faster than a big block and the lighter weight gave it a handling advantage.

I'll wait until 1970 when the 351 Cleveland comes out. A much better performance mill than the 351 Windsor.

In this rare case, Z is the first letter in the alphabet as I would definitely take the Camaro over the Mustang. 😉 The Chevelle SS vs Road Runner question is much tougher. Did anyone else notice how they conveniently skipped the 440 engine options in the Plymouth? 🤔
