My parents had a Burgundy with a black vinyl top Caprice and it was Gorgeous. Black bucket seats and it sounded like a jet taking off to me when my Mother would hit the gas. We always asked her to go fast and she'd tell us to sit back and hold on. It took off like a rocket. It was Beautiful.
When i was a little boy, we had a 1966 turquoise Chevy Biscayne with a two door hard top, and a 327 engine inside of it. It was all rotted out, but it ran very nicely. However! even though I'm not a paint specialist, or anything like that, I noticed that there's alot of people who simply like to criticize the few little flaws, that are on this car, down inside the comment section. Personally, I think that this car is perfectly fine and it's a real clean beauty. $7500 is more than just a fair price. No the interior is not original, the original interior was in the exact same material and pattern as the door panels are in this car, I doubt you could find that satin type fabric anymore it was truly beautiful and soft. My parents bought the twin to this car brand new and ordered it with a 350hp 327 the only exterior difference from this one was ours had the black vinyl top and was denoted as a caprice classic broughm, maybe the vinyl top is the difference because everything else is identical
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :!!!!
