Bought the TinHifi T2 based on your review and I am super impressed!........got them for about 44 euros. The best in-ear headphones I have ever used. Can't recommend them enough! Thanks for your review!
T2 was my first iem, now I own higher end sets like blessing 2, and still get back to the T2 often, I think for the price, if you like neutral sound they're an awesome deal.
thank you for mentioning the hearing loss, i have damage from my time in the service and have been looking for a review like this , i struggle with higher frequencies and often wondered if i would be better off with brighter sound signature, ps i am a music lover enthusiast but i am a tech novice.
Thank you for this video. The original T2 seems like the right pick for FPS gaming with less bass. I have Salnotes 7hz but I'm looking for an IEM with less bass like T2.
Amazing review ...no frills and straight to the point I own most of what you do and agree with the T4, T2 plus and T2 selection. Although I put Plus first T4 close second and the T2...but only because it needed a little more bass quantity. T5 is excessively priced....from what I have heard from countless reviewers , they are a big let down. Let's see if the T2 Evo....maybe you can confirm will be better.
Been running with the T2 Plus for a few days, after much time with my CCA C10. The T2 Plus signature is much more comfortable for long listening periods. The treble on the C10 gets real messy and artificial on some bright tracks. The T2 Plus has no problem and is a little warmer. It sounds best at higher volumes as the bass really livens up there. I do miss the perceived clarity and airiness of the C10, especially with mids and vocals though. T2 Plus could do with a touch more treble, but is excellent value
I have both the T2, T2 Pro and the T3. Out of the 3, the T3 felt like a whole different ball park to me. Like way wayyyyy better than the T2 pro, and a fair bit better than the T2. count in the multiple worlds better cable and I love the T3 to bits
First time watching. Finally a review that actually talks about everything I needed to know! Torn between T2 and T2 Plus. I mostly want budget fairly neutral sounding IEMs to keep in my camera bag. I am a wedding videographer and am tired of using crap earbuds when doing quick sound tests. (Gotta record those letters, vows, and toasts) Though if they are nice I'll use the IEMs for music on the go too. The reason I think I should have that balanced or flat signature is so I can detect unwanted noises in my recordings. Sure I can clean stuff up in post but the cleaner the initail recording is the less time I'd have to spend on that
Hmmm, I would say for work I recommend the T2 more, it's more neutral and with the lack of bass it allows for easier monitoring for the smaller details. Thanks so much for the kind words! :D
thanks for this tin-lineup review dude ! I recently bought T2’s since it was on discount ($30), it was really good and perform as you decribed. previously I used kz zsn pro x, they’re good too but I had complaints about sibilance or white noise and it’s weight. so far I’m happy with my T2 purchase (now it’s 2 pin connected). what are your thoughts on Tin T2 Mark II ?
Subbed! Hope you get more subscribers. I liked your style since it is straightforward, to the point. Timestamps would be appreciated. About the Tin line up; I got first the T2 and afterwards the T4. Even though I've a couple of other IEM's T4 is my to go right now and T2 is especially good if I'm travelling since losing it wouldn't cost me that much compared to my other sets. My only complaint is the isolation with these pairs. Even though I'm using Comply T-series tips the isolation is subpar.
Thank you for commenting! I'm happy you found the video useful! The T4 is my current favorite as well. I don't have isolation issues myself, might just be differences in ears. I wonder if this is a problem for many people.
Thank you so much man! I'm going to remember you even with 100,000 subs someday (hopefully lol). My favorite balance / neutral pair would be ER2SE by Etymotic. You can find it sometime for $80 but retail is $129. If you can handle the fit it is by far the best neutral set under $200
Please please please recommend me an IEM that would be a technicalities upgrade for me coming from the TinHifi C2 mech warrior. I listen to mainly Jazz Blues and Funk so a lot of piano, bass and trumpets. Oscar Peterson, Ray Charles, Charlie Parker, scary pockets Vulfpeck and more. My budget is under $100 Thank you!
YES subbed. looking forward to that Aria/Starfield/KXXS shootout. Didn't quite like the Starfields I borrowed for 5 days against my Aria. Too warm and slow for my taste. Any chance of comments on where the Kanas Pro sits as well? Also if you have AET08 tips, would be interested in your thoughts how it changes the Aria's tuning. Just tried them today and enjoying the thicker presentation without messing with its current frequency response. Quite reminiscent of the Starfield from my memory but without the smoothed out details and slow/borderline muddy bass to low mids. Also do you have any comments on how the HZSound Heart Mirror compares to any of the TinHifi IEMs? I'm thinking maybe the T2/ T2 Plus/T4 based on this review could maybe compete or compliment the Heart Mirrors. I love your 5 new IEM shootout. definitely will check out the Oracle too!
Hey man! Thanks for the subscribe and all the recommendations. 1. AETO8 Tips - I have not tried these yet. I'm planning on order a bunch of tips and testing them for a video in the future. I'll add this one to that list. 2. HZ Heart Mirror is quite good, I'll have to compare side by side for a full opinion. I'll cover that in the review of it. 3. Kanas Pro - I have not tried that one unfortunately. It was before my time in the hobby. 4. Oracle is awesome lol
Kanas Pro is one of the best IEM's I've owned. I prefer it more than the KXXS, QDC Neptune, DM7 and Ibasso IT01s. But newer IEM's are much better. No contest. I prefer the Aria and Starfield over it. Aria takes the cake because it's identical to Starfield and it's much better than Kanas. All subjective. Don't take my word for it. But after the KXXS, Moondrop QC has gone down the toilet. Channel imbalance machine, dead drivers and paint chips. I'm gonna avoid their products from now on. My Aria and Starfield has died already but they sound much better than Kanas. Of course and obviously. My Kanas Pro and KXXS are still alive. Have nothing to say about the Kato.
@@daghetto101 too many horror stories on Aria. I can care less about paint chipping but it is slightly annoying. both my SSR and Aria already had this problem and the only way to avoid it is to take care of it and wipe it after use. I have a friend who is very anal about wiping his stuff down and his ssr still looks good as new while mine is already stripped completely haha. pros about being stripped is that it looks okay again since everything's even. still curious about the Kato but i am afriad of its tuning if it veers further away from neutral tunings. but as for detail, soundstage and imaging i am very curious especially maybe if tip rolled with the right tips to retain or improve those things + push it towards neutral. but for the price, idk if i can commit to that. I also prefered my Aria over the Starfields ive borrowed. no experience with KXXS still, none of my friends have it and am not willing to buy that since it's the same price as the Kato. and both are kind of out of my range esp that I have their cousin, Aria, already. not sure how much value owning a Kato will bring to the table, might just feel like a side grade.

Thank you for commenting! If you want a very good midrange performance like the T2, I suggest upgrading to the Seeaudio Yume. It is the best tuned IEM you can get for under $200.
