There is a tunnel that runs down the right side of the car and right where the jack support is up front on the right is a reinforced section to place the jack to lift the front of the car. This gives you access to place the jack stands in their proper place.
Thank you for this well edited video. I'm going to try to jack my dead Boxster up so I can access the emergency hood opening cable since my jump points aren't working.
I don't see why you couldn't, if you watch my video on removing the motor out of the Boxster you'll see I used 12x12 2 inch boards to give me the extra 6 inches I needed. Thanks for watching.
@@ArrowheadGarage i can lift it using 3ton stand jacks. but i need more space so i want to use 6tons stand jacks to lift more. but i am wondering it is safe ....
Good video I would suggest that you also use a hockey puck on the floor jack when lifting on the front rail. That way you don't mar the surface.
Great idea!! Thanks for sharing
How did you put a jack up front and also get the jack stand at the proper location? The jack was in the way, wasn’t it?

Glad my videos helped you out with getting your Boxster back on the road!
Isn’t the jack blocking you from putting in a jack stand when you lifted the front?
Place both front and back jack stands under the body donuts or jack points. Hope this helps!
if i want lift higher , can i use 5 tons jack stands? and is it ok for safety review point??

Youre chewing through the metal when you put raw jack without some type of puck or wooden piece
Nice black
Thank you man!
Is this high enough to remove the tranny?
Should be the trans isn't that big compared to the engine removal.
