Great video buy the way. I do not use Broncos as you guys do so sound deadening will be a welcomed pleasure being it’s there every day on road vehicle. Answering a comment from someone who said it’s a bit much for a vehicle that not meant to be a luxury quiet vehicle.
While the Big Bend and Black Diamond are going to be more of a off-roading vehicle, the Badlands is going to be something we travel and camp in. We want to make it as comfortable as possible.
Hey guys, off subject, but y’all did such a great job tracking down your Bronco, I was going to see what you have had about this. Our Bronco arrived in Memphis at the rail yard about 5-6 weeks ago, after a 4 week wait at the factory. Neither Ford or my dealer can tell me why it hasn’t shipped yet. I talked to United Roads, and they actually had it scheduled to be delivered May 6th, but it was pulled from them. I was told this week by a Manager from a Dodge dealership that there was a break in at the rail yard in Memphis and a lot of vehicles damaged and keys stolen. They are trying to go get theirs, but the rail company isn’t allowing them. My buddies Bronco got to Memphis last Monday and made it to his dealer today. Definitely getting ridiculous! I figured if anyone had heard anything it may be you guys. Thanks!
If your vehicle was a part of the property that was damaged or keys stolen, 1) a police investigation will be launched and any and all damaged vehicles are entered into evidence. 2) once released from evidence the rail yard, you, or manufacture/dealer may be contacted. 3) if it is ONLY keys taken, it takes a while to rekey an entire vehicle. We did several at the body shop. Took a couple of weeks or more to get the locks, the associated small parts, both keys and a locksmith had to come. 4) insurance companies will be involved and depending how good they are - will determine how quick things get done on their end. It’s going to be a while. Check in maybe 1x a week but don’t be calling them n hounding for info. Active cases are tight lipped and u won’t be given much information. Hope this helps. I hope ur vehicle wasn’t damaged or keys taken 🙏
I'm thinking it might help to get a razor blade and precut some of the paper. That way you could pull off small sections while you're installing. Especially if you're doing it solo
Nice work! Would you recommend removing the doors to install the Dynamat material? Maybe give you better leverage and the ability to use gravity to position the material.
All gone there you go again y'all going lord-a-mercy manual y'all doing it to it has Ronnie from Georgia good gracious y'all know every part of that vehicle
We never had a rattle that I can remember. It could be the panel rattling, could the window mechanisms rattling. It’s hard to say. Could be a screw or bolt lose 🤷🏻♀️
Nice video but a lot of work for an off road vehicle. I think if you want quiet, buy a luxury vehicle. You’ll get road noise with the top off or soft top open which is what they’re made for. How does this stuff hold up with water protection?

WOW, it must really work I didn't hear a thing. LOL Oh yeah, that's right my laptop wasn't on when you posted the video LOL
I saw another brand and they were also using the pre-cut pieces in the INSIDE face of their Bronco hardtop to deaden outside ? sound even more.
Wow -- it's amazing the difference it makes just while tapping on the metal. Sounds much more solid.
It does sound more solid for sure. still have to floor left and we will go test it out.

Well done! Great video series. Thanks for the support as always.
Our pleasure. Can’t wait til we finish it all and go on a trip.

Thanks for the info! Love the content, definitely one of the most informative channels on TH-cam!
@@clayheslep179 thank you. Glad we can help!
My only concern if you have a door ding will a door ding specialist be able to massage the ding out?
Depends on how bad the ding is. Sometimes they can pull it without going behind the door skin.
Always enjoy your vids. Thanks for sharing
Thank you!

I would leave them on for risking damaging the doors when laying them flat. you might press on the on them too hard and damage the outer skin.
Being in body shop, the outer skin of the doors are thin n easily dented. Because of this, it made more sense to leave them hung.
What is the noise db after the install?
We haven't measure the before and after. We started installing it and realized we didn't get an initial test.
Another TH-cam reviewer did a db meter test and was around 77db ear level with a hard top. So how much lower there will be the answer.
Question was it worth it? Or would you do only a few sections. I was thinking doors and trunk.
We noticed a lot of difference in ours. It’s entirely up to you n ur budget.

Knowing the vehicle is our goal
Have y’all found anything that fixes the window rattle? It’s driving me crazy, about to take it in to a dealer but I’d rather fix it myself. Help

It will help with the travels we plan on doing. As far as water, I don’t plan on getting to inside too wet. It has carpet after all.
Honestly.. the thumbnail's are doin it. XD Keep that up!
Thanks ☺️
