Fun fact: It's illegal to own a crocodile without an exotic pet license, and even if you get one, the proper pen for a crocodile needs a length at least twice the crocodile's length, and a width at least equal to the crocodile's length, that contains both land and water. Meaning that even if Doof had a license for those crocs, he's still penning them illegally.

Even all of his crimes, the one thing that he never fails to do is to be there for his daughter even if its utterly embarrassing for him and his daughter, but he never failed to be a father.
most of the trapping he does against perry the platypus is probably not illegal, considering he lives in the USA, which has home defence laws strongly favouring the homeowner. he could easily claim that perry the platypus had broken into his house, and when he trapped him he was simply defending his propety
Given he's mentioned Perry destroying his doors was something he had to pay for (notably, because Perry stopped doing it after that) and it's unlikely Perry has a warrant, that does seem likely.
It would still be illegal, but it would be because of boobytrapping, NOT kidnapping. . . We need Perry the Platypus's Crimes counted now though for sure.
I never thought about it until now, but most of his crimes were just a bunch of property destruction and theft + the numerous amounts of false imprisonment and first degree attempts along with that. 'Sigh' Such a hit of nostalgia watching a childhood favorite once again. Also, yes to making a part two! Let us see the more numerous instances of the above listed crimes that are most likely in the near future!!!
The false imprisonment charges might not be valid, considering it's mostly him capturing what a judge would assume is a unclaimed animal or pet. I only saw Candice being a valid charge. You're gonna have a fun time pinning him for all of his vandalisms, thefts, and other considering his machines make things disappear and the only one to see it generally is Perry the Platypus. Edit: Also animal cruelty for those instances as well.
No, those charges are completely valid, because in addition to being an animal that Doofenshmirtz planned to kill after imprisoning, Perry is a secret agent who was sent to Doof’s lair under express orders to stop a crime that his superior briefed him on, so not only did Heinz capture a government official in the execution of his duty, Agent P isn’t even the only one who knows about Doof’s crimes, meaning he can very well be held accountable for them. It’s almost like it doesn’t matter what’s the “only” thing that you see as “a valid charge,” because you’ve completely ignored the circumstances of why Perry was sent after Heinz. In other words, he’s “gonna have a fun time” my foot.
@@imfsresidentotaku9699 Perry is not a recognised public agent, and the agency itself is top secret. This means that even if, dare say. Perry is considered a sentient agent with rights and protection, the government would refuse to charge Doof for it as that would blow Perry's cover and break the secret of the Agency's existence, at which point it would become useless as its entire strength relies on the two things you've just made useless 1. Animals being able to covertly move, spy and attack threats. Now that the agency is uncovered and a known quantity, everyone will know not to trust animals to be simple, dumb animals 2. Doof inventing things they can then steal and or copy from him once Perry stops his latest attempt at Tri-State conquering. You tell this person that he ignored the circumstances of why perry is after Doof, but you yourself ignored the circumstance of why the agency never captures Doof or, indeed, charges him for his crimes. And without Agent P and the agency to back you up with their surveillance and evidence, most of the evidence if not all of it is, like the other guy said, covered up well enough that few if any people could trace the crimes to Doof.

Moreover, since the agency is never shown to be legal or recognised by the government, there is a big chance that much like CIA assets overseas, no one would claim Perry is an operative since that would both reveal the agency's main method and sole purpose for existing as well as get them in trouble with the civil authority since they have conscripted a pet and constructed tons of secret entrances and shit on the property of a civilian surburban family. Even if sentient to a much larger extend, Perry will still be property under law as the universe in P&F does not show to have additional or changed rules regarding pets given almost everyone still perceives them as normal, dumb animals, so the government would NEVER claim him The MOST that Doof could be charged for in this case is the killing of someone else's legal pet, yet even then one can argue self defense as it escaped their owner's property, broke into his house and attempted to harm him.
The fact this is only season 1. And he already was senteced to jail for 600+ years due to traps alone. Really probably says something about his record. Also keep in mind, there's that one episode. Where doof had multiple traps set to capture perry.
2:39 he didn’t actually do that. He was just talking about what he wanted to do. Edit: there were also a few others where he just talked about his plan without carrying them out due to being thwarted by Perry.
If he took action towards carrying out those plans, then he should be charged for attempting the crime. But if he just talked about doing it it’s hard to charge him for intent there.
At 4:36 you gave him 2 life sentences. In the segment, you decreased it by 1. Then you started counting up from there. In total he should have 12 life sentences by the end, not 11.
@@gavindinsmoor8196 technically, everyone gets at least two Lifetimes - regular, and a movie network ("Lifetime - television for women who enjoy watching other women get abused physically, psychologically, and portentiously...")...
I think a life sentence is overkill for just killing a few trees so he dropped that one. Also he didn’t actually do the bit where he killed the talk show host, he just planned to kill them all (so he should’ve gotten another death penalty as he was planning on killing dozens of people at once)
A potential error I found was at 3:52 where 24 years were added for Mass Theft where usually it was 25 (also the joke is that the animals are escaping the Zoo and prisoners are rioting, but Major Monogram mixed it up) And something that is definitely an error is at 4:50 where the life sentences go up by 2, and the next crime decreases it by 1. So there’s 1 missing life sentence and (probably) 1 missing year.
I wonder, was it “Convicts are rioting, animals are escaping from the zoo,” or “convicts are escaping prison, animals are rioting in the zoo”? Both seem equally plausible in Danville
2:06 destroying all the wood will cause most buildings to collapse endangering a lot of civilian population. This could be much worse than simple property damage

@2u29wjiowk2iswj Planning a murder ain't though. It entirely depends on if he actually attempted to do that specific plan in the episode. (Least to my knowledge, gotta be a legal grey area atleast)
The problem is we get completely different crimes depending on if perry is a human in the eyes of the law. (Funnily enough that may also be why door never gets charged, legally speaking he's an ocelot)

I think I know what Mousait does when he charges villains. He does the following: Movies: Couple of cases TV series: Individual person Video Games: Individual with extra murder charges
Doofenshmirtz could argue for every case that Perry broke into his home and that he had the right to restrain him, and he could also argue that he'd find it silly to call the police over an animal that he could handle himself
Favorite quotes from these clips: "As a lazy tailor would say, suit yourself!" "Say hello to my new pet crocodiles, Susan and Susan! I named them after each other."
3:51 it’s a 5yr sentence for every convict he helped escape. There’s also charges for releasing the animals, including damages for releasing invasive species into the ecosystem and any liability for damages or death that those animals cause. Heck, since he is explicitly causing chaos, he could be brought up on charges of terrorism.
I can't imagine someone would be charged for an escape they didn't cause? Sure he left an entryway but the convicts escaping wasn't his intention he was just stealing bricks. Probably still getting charged for some kind of negligence though.
I nearly fainted. I still can’t believe everyone’s favorite « evil » scientist murdered someone.

They mostly have permission to do what they do, including permits from the city and other paperwork. As far as they know, they even have permission from their mom, and their dad and grandparents have even participated in the shenanigans on multiple occasions.
@@lightsidesoul The problem is gross negligence and numerous OSHA and city code violations. A LOT of big ideas showed very real dangers towards their participants -- Phineas & Ferb themselves straight up died once when they put themselves in the video game with Candace. Also, the boys only received permission from their parents under the presumption they were doing other tasks, like tweaking their toy cars rather than their family's car, so it wouldn't count.
Though they'd still be off the hook since they're 8 and legally unprosecutable.
@@keithleracc That's a little iffy, even disregarding the age thing. Like I said, they have permission to do things, as shown in the Roller coaster episode, when Phineas is talking to the guy to show the building permit.

Shouldn't Dr. Doofenshmirtz be charged for animal cruelty too? He did a lot of heinous things to Perry.
It's not animal cruelty due to Perry being a secret agent.

Even better when he gets completely acquitted of it all and becomes a high school teacher!
Perry is considered a sentient agent with rights and protection, the government would refuse to charge Doof for it as that would blow Perry's cover and break the secret of the Agency's existence, at which point it would become useless as its entire strength relies on the two things you've just made useless
1. Animals being able to covertly move, spy and attack threats. Now that the agency is uncovered and a known quantity, everyone will know not to trust animals to be simple, dumb animals
@@imfsresidentotaku9699
Agent? Yes. Government agent? Not to my knowledge.
As far as I'm aware OWCA is NEVER established to be a government organisation.
Even then the Candace one was when she swapped bodies with Perry, so technically it was still a platypus. In addition the one with the robots was in another dimension which I don’t think can legally be held against him, and they also erase everyone’s memories at the end of the movie so anything from Across the 2nd Dimension is essentially not canon.
@@imfsresidentotaku9699 Has it been considered that for a majority of these crimes, doof was not charged? The agency just cares about stopping them, because as shown in the movie they want to keep him free and inventing to then steal his ideas and inventions for agency usage, thus there is a high chance that since for MOST of his crimes only Perry and the agency would know Doof did it, no one actually charged him or exposed him to the public as being the one responsible.
Even if sentient to a much larger extend, Perry will still be property under law as the universe in P&F does not show to have additional or changed rules regarding pets given almost everyone still perceives them as normal, dumb animals, so the government would NEVER claim him
The MOST that Doof could be charged for in this case is the killing of someone else's legal pet, yet even then one can argue self defense as it escaped their owner's property, broke into his house and attempted to harm him.
The fact this is only season 1. And he already was senteced to jail for 600+ years due to traps alone. Really probably says something about his record.
