LeBron is bionic. Pretty simple. Lol
Like how he can twist his ankle 45 degrees, and then he just tightens his shoe extra tight then sprints down the court right after. Lol

The off the backboard dunk he did on Javale was all I needed to see when he talked about his "broken hand". Not only was it perfect but he thrashed a bit on the rim after the monster dunk. His hand was fine.

LeBron is amazingly resilient when it comes to injuries. He would definitely risk reinjuring it in order to give his team any chance of winning.
No matter tho, it does not seem to have affected him that much. So it should not be a big deal, for any of the sides (lovers and haters).

And think of how many more he could have gotten. You put LeBron on those teams, he averages over 8.
And it's not just about stats here. There's a video on this channel, Bballbreakdown, that compares Kobe to Jordan in the Triangle. Basically: Kobe only helped himself, and the offense suffered with no ball and player movement when he was on the floor (and those 2 things drastically improved when he went out); while Jordan helped his teammates so that they could help him.
While Kobe would often not pass at all, Jordan would make a pass, then get a screen for good position and receive a pass for the score.
The difference is amazing, especially so if you consider that Jordan is not even considered an unselfish player.

One time I had a severe ankle injury in football. I got it iced, took some painkillers and I very nearly went back into the game, as I could jog on it without too much pain. I eventually decided to not go back in, because I’m a middle linebacker and fairly undersized for my position, wisely realizing my sub 6 foot 170 pound frame wouldn’t handle 250 pound lineman with an injured ankle. The next day when I woke up, I couldn’t put any weight on my ankle but even with a walking boot on.
The point I’m trying to make is that painkillers combined with adrenaline can make very serious injuries non existent. I nearly went back into the game with an injury that sidelined me for 4 weeks.
The injury was obviously there, and anybody who says it was a fake injury are simply unaware or haters. The combination of adrenaline, painkillers, icing and manning the fuck up made it seem like Lebron wasn’t injured.

I didn't hear Iggy complain about his leg...but it says a lot to see LeBron biitch about his bruised knuckles only after game 4. I guess you can say that on and off the court, LeBron can put on a show, but did LeBron really need to flop during a post-game press conference?

Just my opinion, but I think the hand injury effected him significantly. If you compare his numbers in those three games to the numbers he was putting up during the whole 2018 playoff run, or the numbers he put up in the previous finals against Golden State, there's quite a difference. After that 51-8-8 game, it wasn't a stretch to expect a 40pt triple double in every game, and he came up way short.

What I noticed after Game 1 was the difference in his shooting form. It didn't look natural anymore and appeared to look awkward coming off the palm and fingertips. Also his drives to the basket looked cumbersome and not as strong and he faded to the left in alot of those drives but alot of that has more to do with the warriors defense since they started loading up on LeBron.

I think you missed the fact that it's highly possible that he was purposely using his right hand as usual despite the great pain because if the Warriors had found out he was injured they would've definitely attacked him more both offensively and defensively. Acting normal is the only way to prevent that. It doesn't really matter how much the pain was bothering him.

LeBron is an incredible player, almost certainly top 5 all time. But nothing makes me laugh harder than those who claim LeBron has some sort of supernatural ability to ignore or cope with pain. It appears, based on his performance, that the injury was not all that bad. Moreover, LeBron is sensitive to discussions about his legacy and is not above exaggerating or lying a bit to soften the impact the sweep could potentially have on his legacy (much like Jordan flu game aka Jordan hungover game - different result admittedly).

LeBron is a legend , however I was dissapointed in his leadership. When things go wrong like with the JR situation, knowing that there are potentially 6 more games left, that is the moment you rally the troops , recover and come back for game 2. He didn't do that and instead let his emotions get the best of him. I hope LeBron learned from this defeat as he does in most cases and comes back with a feorcity next year.

    L3-6ron Blames

  • @mmmcounts
    @mmmcounts 6 ปีที่แล้ว

"But this is a tough one, what am I looking for?" It's really simple, G. You look for a string of games in which Bron takes no threes, his mid range game goes away, and jumpers are virtually all replaced with hard drives and attempts from 2 feet away from the rim. This is not the best way to make the most of your possessions, and becoming predictable is not all that good, but it Does lead to high percentage 2-point field goals and if he gets a lot of touches and has a lot of attempts he can still put up good numbers while doing that. Another thing you can do is look at turnovers and assists in order to see if his passing game was affected in ways that are statistically meaningful. If you're going to take the stare-at-Lebron approach to watching a game, you could focus on his passes and try to get a sense of how many somewhat difficult passes were attempted and completed. Then see how that compares to games in which he doesn't have a broken hand. That's how you do it, and you can do half of this by looking at his shot chart.

he does not have to think, he plays well enough to think he is the shit. It's not like the warriors gave him a ring, KD did his part.

I dont think it was a bad break, but he's just good enough to go past it, plus pain killers. And it's not like he used the hand to make an excuse of why he lost, a reporter asked him, and the reason he put a cast on after he didnt have to play basketball.
