No matter what happened, this Boston team is my favorite all-time. No they didn't have the beautiful passing style of the '86 team. No they didn't revive the franchise like the '08 squad. No they weren't à Dynasty like Bill Russell's army. But they've shown passion, determination and truemondeous will. Even when everything went against them litterally since day 1. They shouldn't have done as much as they did, yet they've pulled it off. Of course this wasn't Boston's year. But the future is bright now. I truely believe in Irving, Hayward, Rozier, Horford, Tatum, Brown, Smart, Stevens, Ainge and the rest of the crew. The 18th banner will come.

It's because of LeBron James and his glory that we overlooked how stacked the Boston Celtics team really was. This team had Kyrie Irving, a rookie Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward, Marcus Morris, Al Horford, Terry Rozier, Marcus Smart, and the list goes on yes to all stars were injured but this was still a very super stack team this low-key was a super team that was overlooked because of how good LeBron James really is say what you want but that Celtics team went up against a bunch of dead Corpses and LeBron James. The only difference is again Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward were both hurt now I do believe this series would have probably and it weigh differently had those two been in and I would have loved to have seen that Celtics team a go up against the Kevin Durant Warriors that would have been a great 2018 NBA finals

LeBron is unreal. There is absolutely no reason they should've beaten the Pacers, SWEPT the #1 seed Raptors after they're greatest regular season ever, and beaten this young squad that, yeah, was inexperienced, but was far superior as far as coaching goes. Wow.

3 things that were most amazing about Lebron winning game 7 at Boston. 1st obviously the only other star player on that team was out. 2nd The Cavs would have been underdogs even with Love. Lebron beat the superior team after he was down 13+ midway through the 2nd quarter. He could have folded given the circumstances and he still managed to win a game they had no business winning.
