    What part # is the actual turn signal bulb socket holder for halogen headlights? I'm not having any luck finding it for halogen headlights, all i come up with is for xenon headlights. I have a 2013 bmw 328i xdrive. many thanks in advance.

    By the way, there is a little panel in the fender liner that you can take out and gives access to the back of the headlights (was put there to make changing bulbs easier and so you don't have to take off the fender liner). It is held in by two push clips on top (push down and pull towards yourself), and then slides up and out and exposes all of the bulb doors.

    • @InlineSixAuto
      @InlineSixAuto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but from what I remember, that opening only gives you access to the low beam bulbs?

      @@InlineSixAuto negative, just did the upgrade myself… didn’t even move the tires. The angle is weird… but definitely can access both turn signal bulb and headlight bulb through the access panel

      @@robertrodrigueziii5304 that would be an E90 chassis, which I am not familiar with but if you look at the front part of the fender wells there may be a small door that opens, again I'm not sure if they have that on E90s so you would have to look yourself.

    I replaced the halogen bulbs on my F15 for both the turn signal and fog lights with LEDs. It was a $30 and 10 mins job to modernize the car a bit. Also, those dynamic/sequential LED is an Audi thing.

      Where did sequential tail lights come from?

    Upgraded to these same bulbs through this video and now I'm getting all kind of lighting malfunction, went and bought bimmercode + adapter to try and code it and still getting the malfunction plus flickering,( 2012 f30 modern fully loaded)

    • @InlineSixAuto
      @InlineSixAuto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I've noticed, not all BMW react the same when it comes to changing electrical parts like bulbs. Some are just more sensitive than others and will react like yours. However some will not react at all. Mine still hasn't had any issues since installing these. Though it would flicker sometimes because of the voltage check but I just coded that out. You just happen to have one that didn't like the change. I would just reinstall your original bulbs and maybe try a different LED bulb.

    Isn’t part of the appeal of LED bulbs the fact that they will last much longer than filament bulbs?

    • @InlineSixAuto
      @InlineSixAuto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually that's the case. But sometimes when they're cheaply made they won't last that much longer or less than the filament bulbs. At least that's based from my experience.

      Nope. However I am noticing that they flicker every so often which I'm assuming is a voltage check. I think that can be coded out though.
