Hi, your TH-cam channel is excellent. I can't wait to call in next week to buy my first pair of Tricker stow acorn antique plus big thanks for the engraved horse hair brush wow! great stuff from Michael Pedelty
Absolutely no problem Michael. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing if we can sort you out with some Trickers. Let me know your size before you travel over, and I can be sure to have your size in. There's absolutely no obligation to buy them, but we are only a small business and keeping all sizes and styles in stock is just too expensive. Antony 👍
Ok I have a 10 stow in acorn with the dainite soles and a 9 1/2 in marron to try for size......your choice is leather sole or dainite sole? We recommend dainite, but your call. 👍
If those Next boots are like the Firetrap ones I bought a while ago, sadly the construction ain't it. My case the bonding they used was awful and the sole started coming away from the boot. Cheap, but not even worth repairing. Amazing that a bit more spent on that will get him a fair bit more life out of the boot.
A cracking job on the boots, just a pity the uppers lack the quality of the decent brands. I suppose it’s a case of you get what you pay for, even though they won’t have been cheap when purchased.
I’m sure a factory repair will be a good one, they will return them like for like to what they were originally, using the reconstituted leather heal stacks, and if you send them today you will get them back in the new year. If you send them to us it will be slightly cheaper, you can choose a different sole and we will use full leather heel stack, and you have them back in a couple of weeks or less. You might even get a video done 😂
@@shoehealer8853 I'm coming to Doncaster this week, I'm going to stick with a quality local company like yourselves who know exactly what they're doing.

They will be the same cemented construction, designed to be thrown away in less than a year.

Don’t think they will be expensive from Next, but they probably don’t do them anymore and they wouldn’t have had a sole like this on.
In your expert opinion is it worth sending a pair of Loake brogues back to the Loake factory for repair?
