    Your vids helped a lot when I first got this machine. It's a simple machine but in some ways not really because there's so many possibilities

    Cool tutorial. Does the lfo work on every instrument? I tried setting it up with a closed hat but couldn't hear any change. Thanks. Mind you, I didn't do that ctrl+instrument knob lfo depth that you did.

    • @UnitE808

      It works on every instrument. You will need to either assign the knob or when you go into the instrument edit screen set the LFO depth there.

    Quick question, didn't see the answer here-- I can't seem to disable the LFO by setting the depth to 0? I have a few kits that I've fallen in love with, but the first beats I made with them featured an LFO set to detune a star chime at the end of the beat. Now, whenever I try to set the LFO to 0 in hopes of disabling it, it's still definitely doing stuff to the instruments it's set to. I've tried both Kit and Instrument settings. Thanks!

      Is the lfo assigned to the ctrl knob? It might be motion recording.

    Roland should add a one-shot mode to the LFO so it could also be used as a pitch envelope if desired.

    I have a question: I work with the TR-8S, and every time I find a nice setting for my kickdrum and want to save it (by pressing shift+write) it changes my kickdrum sound and the sound I worked on is gone. Do you maybe know how this can be possible? I'm having this problem for quite some time now, hope you can help me out. Thanks in advance!

    • @UnitE808
      @UnitE808  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      What version of the firmware are you on? So, you are saying that as soon as you press shift+write, the kick drum changes?

    • @klangwaffe9703
      @klangwaffe9703 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UnitE808 Version 1.10. And yes, as soon as I save the sound (with LFO) it changes weirdly enough

    • @UnitE808
      @UnitE808  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@klangwaffe9703 LFO is a moving effect. It is meant to make the sound change constantly.

    • @klangwaffe9703
      @klangwaffe9703 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UnitE808 Yes, off course. But this LFO is set on a kickdrum in a rhythmical way, like with techno kicks (so that it has the same impact every time). It just seems very weird to me (with all the settings in the right place) that I can't save it. It sounds all good and perfect, till I press shift+write. If you want I could make you a little movie and send it via email
