- There is an ongoing mission to save Biscayne Bay, but frustrations are mounting after another disheartening video went viral showing boaters trashing the watershed.
Ban the public use of this island! They deserve it, and more strict use of personal use of marine craft, system fault that laws arent that strict! Big fines for trashing the enviroment!
5k fine for trashing our oceans, first offense 2nd confiscate vessel
We should fly drones around and keep the boaters in check! $500 for littering on the highway $1000 on the water!!!!
More $5k
Since I was a kid, I remember my family always brought at least one large trash bag when boating or whatever event outdoors. I always thought that's just common sense.
99% of those people throwing trash come from 1 island 90 miles from Florida everyone knows that they just don’t care & think they own Miami.
Close all the islands. Make it seasonal.. simple. Fine people
The people who doing it nasty low class not use, to a proper home they just like the trash themselves 😮I got some where I live too..
CLOSED THE BEACH!😮
Ok we get it. You don’t like the way you look 😂

@HR-md3ph 😂😅😆 🤣 I'm Beautiful 😍 🤩 👌
Scoff laws - its starting to look like the rest of the Caribbean, I wonder why?
How about war crime laws do that the world doesn’t start to look like the US ?
They should help the Indian River to.
Ban all water bottle sales under 32oz that will massively cut the water bottle trash issue. Literally will transform that aspect overnight. People can fill canteens or refill reusable water bottled from gallon containers etc.
Senator Garcia me and my family are voting for you
No more trash bins. Strict carry in carry out. 1st offense $5,000 fine, 2nd offense $15,000 fine, 3rd offense vessel confiscation and arrest.
Close the islands or charge for each boat pull up. It will never end. Only get worse. New age boaters are trashy.
Maybe they should pick up trash twice a week,,
And a 10 $ fee on all registered vessels for a shore line fund it currently a disgraceful situation
I am not interested in being in the Miami Dade County area for various reasons only limit myself to only four places and if wider areas only if I have to , but Broward and Palm Beach Counties yes , I would really like to tidy the beaches but weather wise it would be too much for me to do it . When it goes down in the sixties matter of when as usual, I am out there find some way of travelling to the beach and go
Upsetting
Put more bigger barrels out
Wtf ar fish and wildlife are doing 😐
Not a damn thing there’s not enough of them, but they are plenty of Miami Dade police every two blocks you pass on the road. You’ll definitely run into one, but in our waters ghost.
Noooooo!
Chief Bay Officer can't understand why this is happening ? Interesting . States "we need to find a solution . Mr Louis Aguirre reported this in 2021 , now , and I'm sure next year , 2025 , 2026 and so on. I think most of the viewers on this channel can do a better job than "chief bay officer " in keeping our islands clean. Always reactive not pro active while collecting a nice check . Good job chief bay officer
Blame the Hialeah Santeros Cubans the minutes they have money saved up they buy jewelry and a boat to trash Elliot key and here
Oh Miami
Bar the pleasure boating trash. They just about all roll like that.
Umm? Get rid of the trash cans!! First step. Make it permit access only thus restrict the number of craft allowed within a designated island/ zone. Make it a dry ie no alcohol nature reserve. Use that permit $ to fund enforcement of permits, water way regulations and boating laws. Same behavior is being seen at beaches driven to by car also. If people can’t behave and police their own behavior then sell access permits so you know who is on the land/beach etc and have funding to police their behavior. They don’t like it? Tuff they created the problem
Closet the island
Wtf
Why not just burn the trash?
