    People are probably confused by the English translation, but it's calamansi. Not only does it look different from a kumquat, but it tastes very different as well (much more sour and aromatic).

    In the US, a kumquat is oblong and orange, which is why I thought those are calamansi. When I made this comment on a video a few years back, local Vietnamese in the comments told me it's a kumquat (quat or tac is what they call it, depending on the region). I think due to the calamansi having lineage with a kumquat, Vietnamese may just be calling it that.

    What a major let down to sell delicious breakfast with a hard, sad looking bread. I'm guessing they order the bread from a nearby bakery. If I was them, I'd leave the bread rolls in the bag and only take out when needed. Leaving it in the glass display for hours is not good for freshness. And why not order bread similar to the traditional banh mi bread?

  • @tomnguyen2246
    @tomnguyen2246 ปีที่แล้ว

    You didn't order the Xiu-Mai. You didn't say "NO" to the Hot Dog. You were a sloppy eater, who dropped foods everywhere. Slowdown, when you speak to the local. Keep in mind the locals don't speak our language, English, and you don't speak their language. Body/hands gestures may be more helpful, sometimes.
