Hey dear Sorin, I'm an IT technician don't worry, I'm not going to send you a device to fix, I fix it myself. But I'm sending you my brotherly hugs for sharing your knowledge and showing people about oddities of business and being ultimately sincere and intimate 😊
hello Sorin. because you don't edit movies I love watching you and I really liked you as a person. by showing such a complete recording, you prove your have knowledge and experience acquired over many years of your work. you can disassemble any laptop and repair it in less than an hour, you are a real professional and even when you show dodgy work, you prove that you know what you are doing and at the same time teach how something works and what you can do. I hope that someday I will be in England and I will be able to shake your hand and take a souvenir photo. I think and believe you are the best on YT in terms of your knowledge of electronics and what you do in front of the camera.
Sorin, you are a wonderful fountain of knowledge and insight. These unedited videos where you go through all of your troubleshooting steps, the repair steps, and coming up with ideas on the spot makes me really admire you, both as a talented repairman, and as a true and honest person. If I could travel from South Africa to give you a hug - and not to deliver a broken laptop for repair - I absolutely would. I wish you all the best, and I hope you keep making such frequent and interesting content. You truly are one of the greatest technicians. Much respect Sir!
I founded a Laptop Repair Business a few months ago because i started watching your videos like 2 years ago. i had a background in IT but still, you are one of the best channels to teach people like me to fix their laptops and im really grateful for that. thanks. if i ever see you, i need to give you 50 hugs :D
Well Sorin, i really want to meet you and ofc why not, give you a hug yes!! I don't have anything to fix no worries. Wish i can get there but im far far away from Greece :) PS. Almost EVERY youtuber that is fixing stuff, are editing their videos and ofc if you are clever, you know that you can't trust those. Sorin, thats why we love you and your videos, you are an original, you don't hide your real personality and knowledge.
Sorin you are one of the most honest and legit man on the youtube. Keep it that way. We are here because of you and your repair ideas. Everyone else just change parts and that is ok, but your way of fixing things has never been seen. I have watched all of your videos and because of you I have desire to open my own workshop.
Sorin I want to hug you too. I try to watch all of your videos for the past 5 months. I owe you hugs but you owe me about £200 for all the equipment and kits that I have bought!!! Because of you, I now have a brilliant hobby that I love! Thank you.
Sorin my golden man, keep doing what you are doing you are a great person for sharing your knowledge with us. You are an inspiration and the fact that your videos are not edited speaks volumes about the quality of your work. I wish I could give you a hug as well, can you tell me your address so that I can bring you my laptop for repair?
Hey Sorin, its not only the repairs, its your personality too, so nice.... Get home from work, and maybe start to cook something watching some electronics magic and listen so positive personality... Im 10.198 km far away to a hug, so i send you a virtual hug
Hi Sorin , just i wanted to say thankyou for your tutorial video , thankyou for zoom in and show us every things in details , it was unique , Fantastic ,awesome and absolutely for beginners. thank you so much that you spend a lots of times for us to teach us a lot of things. please upload more like this video . thankyouuuuuuuuuu
thank you very much, due to your videos i was able to fix a laptop whose computer shop said it had no repair.Im so happy and i think i found a new passion :)
Thank you Mr sorin for this insightful knowledge transfer, please what are the basic tools required for repairs, can you please do a video explaining the most important and needed tools for repairs
We should hug you.(SORIN )YOU ARE OUR HERO, YOU MAKE ME UNDERSTANDING ELECTRONICS ISSUES ,YOU MAKE MY HOBBY MY TRUE JOB NOW I WORK WITH MY ISSUES LIKE I KNOW WHAT GOING ON ,IAM REALY THANK YOU FOR YOUR TEACHE
I learned everything from your old videos and still learning more.may God bless 🙌you for the knowledge you have shared.within 6 months I'm able to diagnose and fix a motherboard
First great video and appreciate you sharing your knowledge I think it has solved a mystery for me with same brand different model and power connecter module. The center pin had got so hot the solder had melted and I could not get it resolder properly, I made a new pin out of solid copper wire and a longer leg to hold solder under the board. Worked fine for a while but still got really hot and I resoldered a few times but eventually gave up. I will try again looking for a short first. BTW. My experience shows that + center pin will come loose if not anchored to the board, epoxy might have been better than hot glue.
Well if I live there in London I surely go there to your place and give a nice hand shake or hug cuz I think you are a realy good person Sorin. Humble, honest, selfless, and a very good teacher...If you ever tired out for this kind of job, you should try to be a teacher. :) Keep up the good work. I cannot wait for you next video every time cuz I enjoying it and learn a LOT from you. THX and regards.
Great video. Another You Tube content creator that also shares his knowledge about his specialty is - Carey Holzman ( a PC Tech ) for 30+ years now. I have always liked learning so your channel and his are channels I like to watch as often as I can.
hi sorin how are you?? very informative video.. thank you.. you ar a very good man ..i really appreciate your work.. i so much learn from you.. keep shear your knowledge with us.🙏🙏🙏❤️
well due to the smoke coming out and then not doing anything as the customer note said and sorin's diagnosis i would say the customer plugged a bigger voltage charger in or it was the wrong polarity
Hi Sorin love to watch your videos I've learned a lot from your videos another Grate video Sorin keep up the good work and just wanted to say hope you have a lovely Christmas with your family merry Christmas and happy New year Sorin wishing you all the best John
I hate screws under the pads. Hate them. I'd never design anything to hide screws this way. PS: I just fixed a broken hinge with hot glue, and it really works! Do what Sorin said and use the hot air to melt the glue - it'll be almost liquid when you apply it, and it will hold everything together.
This time you had the luck to have this fault on a daughter card, Last time i had a burnt epoxy on the motherboard itself, i had to dig into very long in a large surface to get free from the short between layers, that was a hell, finally i rebuilt a lot of tracks and it worked great again !
Sorin you're a good man and your electronics knowledge is through the roof, Ive learned so much from you and wanted to thank you...even for the "dodgy" stuff lmao
Hi Sorin, thank you for your content! I trying to repair the Laptop of my Mother's Laptop for Christmas because no repair shop is even trying. There's a burn mark on the top of the Super IO(IT8585E 1544-FXA SC4UIA) the Laptop is a Asus P2520L (P552LA_LJ). It has 19 V, 3,3v goes to BIOS Battery, if it's unplugged and to the laptop battery. But I have no Idea, I'm no Electrician Engineer. So my only clue is that super I/O. The Laptop doesn't do anything if I push power button. Have you an idea? Thanks
Tq very much sir for your valuable guidance sach every step explain really a lot to me for gains good knowledge people like wanna training from you sir tq once again
This happening also to me every day :( I'm in Italy and here repairing old laptops can't keep a shop open... too much time for any price... I'm repairing only my-customer pc... and every day I have requests about sending laptops... ( I added a watermark on every TH-cam video to warning viewers to NOT SENDING LAPTOPS )
Hi, sorry to ask this question here, but you're the best guyu that might help out, don't know anyone smarter in these matters than you.. I have thought of using a modern laptop webcam as a stationary webcam for my PC, done that in the past with some old webcam soldering a USB cable to it, but with this hp x360 webcam I have 12 PINS - webcam has two 6pin connectors on each side, have you encountered such device before?, I have identified +5V and GND, possibly one of the data terminals too, is it possible that it is usb 3.0 webcam ? why are there 12 pins for it ? thanks in advance
Hello sorin, Are the two antennas from the wifi card doing the same thing? Because you inverted the white one and the black one when getting everything back together... Thanks for all your videos. Have a nice evening ;)
I wonder how you can determine the charge to the customer for this much time, when you consider the cost of the device itself or even replacement cost. And yes, I understand that making a video and explaining what you're doing makes it take more time. Any thoughts on how you can still make it profitable?
People should not send things to be repaired without asking first. They are just using your kindness to force a repair :-( People are selfish, no supprise there.
Im huge fan f your contetn. Also i need advice. I got Asus rog laptop. All light indicators work fine, keyboard caps lock and all. But i have no video. Not even HDMI works. Tried bios reset and even tried graphics chip heating but im afraid i will ruin it. What advice you can give me?
Surely the shop that sent you that one would have had a look at the charge port and seen the burnt board? That's an easy fix. A bit harder to fix when the connector is soldered to the motherboard tho'. I concur with other posters here that the shop that sent it is just being lazy and playing on your good nature Sorin :)
well i really wanna meet you Sorin and invite you for a dinner in any place you want the problem is i really live far far from you, i live in Algeria :-(, one day maybe one day i can come to London and when i come believe me i will contact you

Thanx big Bose👏👏👏👏🤝
Nice and simple job. You forgot to put the tape back on to secure the power cable / connector on the mainboard. Or its not shown on the video ;-)
Seen the pin move when you were probing, let’s see if it’s - damage port middle pin possibly broken.
Well if I live there in London I surely go there to your place and give a nice hand shake or hug cuz I think you are a realy good person Sorin. It wouldn't be a good repair without some hot glue! 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for the video.
I guess was right though, I always feel there is contact between the port ground and load 😀
I did what you said on your page Sorin ”just do it” so i made a retro channel on youtube :) not a buissnes yet but maby in future ;)
The first thing I will do when I go to London is to meet you
This happening also to me every day :( I'm in Italy and here repairing old laptops can't keep a shop open... too much time for any price... good job mate.
Hello sorin,
Are the two antennas from the wifi card doing the same thing? Because you inverted the white one and the black one when getting everything back together...
Thanks for all your videos.
Have a nice evening ;)
Doesn't really matter to be fair
If wifi card incorporates a bluetooth module, you have to connect main antenna to main and aux to aux.
Many thanks for your videos i love them
people will never fail to disappoint
Thanks! for the video!
Thank you that was great , I really enjoyed the video
Helo man you do a great job thanks .
But if I join the group here what is the benefit please.
Hi idol, are you giving some give aways this december, Christmas? Maybe tools, meters to start with?
JOB WELL DONE!🎯
Hey. Why is the Power Platine smoking off?
Nice job Done sir.
5:45 the voltage drop on the middle pin is much lower then the direct short to ground so I bet is not a shorted charging port
I do have the same laptop N53sv.
It’s a nice 👌one
Tell me how can this pin be shortened to the ground? Dust or water ??? Help

What is the name of the tool you are using to remove the screw
An electric screwdriver kit from Ali Express. I have one, comes as a kit in a strong box. Very cheap and very good!
