- Sarah Palin (Julianne Moore) trying to say the surname of the president of Georgia.
ABC Gibson interview about Georgian-Russian conflict.
Game Change is a 2012 American HBO political drama film based on events of the 2008 United States presidential election campaign.
It's amazing how Julianne Moore and Tina Fey can play Palin.
i give the slight edge to tina
Its more like Julianne Moore playin Tina Fey, playin Sarah Palin.. But its a decent portrayal.
@@kangjhha I actually give the edge to Julianne in terms of looks. Though Tina was amazing and obviously hilarious.
Tina Fey always did a caricature of Sarah Palin whereas Julianne Moore did a more serious and believable version of Sarah Palin. Plus, I actually think Moore looked more like Sarah Palin.
But the best stay Sarah Palin in her own role!
The days when you thought that Sarah Palin was the worst that it could ever get. No would ever beat that level of ignorance..
What sweet summer children we were
Yeah they did Trump
@@ronkeenan9288 I think that was the point of the comment. Pointing out that we never thought anyone could be worse than Palin, before Trump came along.
I don't like Trump however I feel he has more intelligence in his small hands than Palin has in her entire being.
Trump litterly 'trumped that', didn't he?
😂
This movie was casted so well I loved it. Great acting.
Palin was a Rhodes Scholar compared to Marjorie Taylor Greene and Boebert.
Wait till they try to run Don Jr America is better than this
Palin wasn't very knowledgeable but she knew what she stood for. Those two are just deranged clowns.
"Well, ya knowwwwww... I can see Russia from my house!"
Hellwyck She didn’t say that
@@kennyryan625 no one saying she did. They're riffing off of Tina Fey's impression.
@@VoodooV1 Actually, she did say that on the Katie Couric interview
Here for Sarah Paulson
outsidetherain _ she did Nicolle Wallace justice
Same!
I think we’re ALL here for Sarah Paulson 😂
AHS and 12 Years a Slave is what put her on the map, but i do remember critics praising her work as Nicolle Wallace in this film
@@skippythealien9627***Palin
To be fair, that's a really hard fucking name to read
To be fair, are you fucking kidding me? Lololol
Zach ohi
no it’s not, you’re just lazy
Not really. Sack-ash-villy. Ya nailed it.
sure it is. but 1) as an elected official, kinda the job to know stuff like that. and 2) once you hear it pronounced correctly enough times, at the very least you should be able to mimic it. Sarah Paulson's character tried helping her out multiple times, but she kept repeatedly flubbing it.
She was so good in this movie.
That's what happens when you give someone a set of questions and answers to memorize with zero comprehension of the material. It's like, they're basically parrots and the moment you deviate a little from their set pattern they're going to spot crazy stuff that makes no sense.
Woody Harrelson's face when she says "you can actually see Russia from here" 😂
Julianne Moore= perfect choice/actress to portray Sarah Palin!! Couldn’t have done this any better!!
Between Julianne Moore and Tina Fey, Sarah Palin has actually been represented in rather sympathetic terms. In real life, she is much simpler of mind and meaner than their portrayals indicated. Do some homework with the public footage and you'll see.
Juliane should have made her character's voice a little more sweeter so it would have been perfect
ell diavolo it was actually a fresher take as most Sarah Palin’s impression was very cartoonish
I guess that’s how come she won the Emmy and other award possible that year. Damn; she almost had her!
I feel the same way now that someone you said that. I still like her performance.
That may be her public voice, a put-on, folksy “hometown” twangy patois for the cameras. Her private voice may have been more down-to-earth.
The fact she can't pronounce Saakashvili isn't a big issue. That she could'n find it on a map with directions is.
great film
If Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt really believed Palin had potential, they were fools. I have hope and faith that they are wiser people now.
They thought that they could make her into a female Dan Quayle.
Julianne Moore seems way more plausible than Sarah Palin.
I am taken with how great, 50-year-old Julianne Moore looks in this film.
☮
Her and Lisa Ann were both great Palins
Factually it's correct. You can see Russia from Alaska. Beautiful real estate along the coast and fresh sea air.
Is it just me or why do i find myself thinking of the palin and bush ii eras as ones where a bit of obtuseness, ineloquence and the occasional cringe were the biggest concerns we had about presidential candidates?
Tina´s take is actually more accurate. That said, Julianne did brilliantly.
S.P. did correctly predict Russia invading Ukraine as the next step, despite everybody mocking her for that statement, back then.
+Adi Das People have been predicting Russia invading caucus states and Ukraine for over two decades, and you bet that was taught to her just before her interview.
she didn't predict anything, she's an idiot.
It seems like any uneducated person can be a presidential position SO this doesn't seem that bad
They can now. You can basically ride some one-liners into legit candidacy at any level
Julianne Moore was so good in this that , at the end , I had to look at a picture of Sarah Palin to remember what she looked like.
I pass a SunTrust bank every time I go to work. So on the Sarah Palin scale that makes me Alan Greenspan
🤣
ADI DAS, thank you.
The GOP saw Russia from their house and then invited them in.
1:13 I laugh every time
Haha it’s too good
She resembles Sarah a lot even Tina Fey would well cutiepie
great movie....on a side note, remember when Republicans used to warn us about Russia/Putin?
Yeah, the good ole days...
It's impossible to portray just how moronic and cruel Palin was and is.
It was a silly answer, but what was the question getting at? "What insight into Russian actions, particularly in the last couple weeks, does the proximity of this state give you?" Like what would have been a good answer?
God say what you want about Palin but her attitude on Russian aggression vs. JD Vance's is staggering
That's not fair, Sarah didn't say that about seeing Russia from Alaska. SNL said that. Sarah had so many missteps that we don't need to pad her resume.
Yes. Yes she did say that in her Couric interview
She ABSOLUTELY said that, despite her advisers continually telling her NOT to say that. But she did anyway
She did say that dumbass. SNL said "you can actually see russia from my house" but what she said in this clip is word for word.
Julianne Moore was brilliant.
Every time I watch scenes from this I get a Pitt in my stomach, not because she could’ve been President (God Forbid), but more because her responses remind so much of my ex wife. Good God she was a space cadet
why did you marry her?
@@js7dragon Because he liked it. He probably thought he could control her bc she was stupid & she was most likely very attractive.
I'm sure she was a lovely small town mayor.
In 2008, we thought the GOP scraped the bottom of the barrel with candidate quality. In 2020, we realized they could dig past the rusted barrel bottom and 6 feet underground.
Woody Harrellson is in everything...
It’s amazing how you literally can see Russia from Alaska lol it’s just the irrelevant parts
Well she was right about Russia
Julianne looks so hot.
Omg 🥰🥰🥰
As much as I can't stand Sarah Palin, I couldn't feeling sympathetic for her. She agreed to be the running mate out of a sense of duty and for all the right reasons. Yet, she was clearly in-over-her-head and probably realized it too late.
Arturo Tinoco Nicolle Wallace was mistreated by Palin
There was no sense of duty. She wanted to be famous and could give a ripe shit about the US.
You actually can see Russia from Alaska, specifically from Little Diomede Island. So she didn’t lie about that. People just assumed it was wrong.
uhh, no, that's not the issue. No one cares about whether or not you can literally see Russia from Alaska. This issue is that Palin tried to claim that seeing Russia somehow gave her some sort of experience/insight in regards to dealing with them.
@@VoodooV1 someone with logical sense👏🏻
@@VoodooV1 Yeah, and Nancy Peloci said she felt connected to China because her parents told her when she was little the if she dug long enough she would reach China. Everyone seems to be okay with the speaker of the house saying that, and with president Biden being completely brain dead.
Yeah that was not the point it was the intellectual hollowness of this response from her
The fact that you can go out to our westernmost point in the tundra of our noncontinuous state and see a little bit of russia's tundra 6000 miles away from Moscow is completely irrelevant to anything.
0:13 "Шишкашвилли" ахахахах))))
I would prefer Lisa Ann....
The Cat...
@@
SO WELL DONE, EVERYONE!! Esp. Julianne Moore, wow!! POTUS candidates... never pick stupid people as your VP mate...
palin is way better looking than that.
I'm from Alaska and you actually can see Russia from St. Lawrence Island, you can see the coastal mountains of Siberia. She wasn't wrong. I think from some of of the outer most island of the Aluetians you can see parts of Russia too.
That wasn't the point. He was asking her what experience she has dealing with Russia and she responded I can see Russia from my house!
@@cspan1993 What experience did Obama have with dealing with Russia? They never asked him that, even though he was the Democrat nominee for President.
Saakashvilio😂😍😍😍🇬🇪
wow my moms!!!!!
Saa Kash Vili then join the 3 up and bingo.
Maybe she is Russian.. you know former USSR colonial resident... Lived at border.. daily checking in russia when she was kid.. thus reverting to those childhood instincts. 😅

Kamala hasn't faced a single serious question yet. It wasn't that long ago policy mattered. This is the crazy times
Right, so I'm certain you're just as bemused by the GOP's complete and utterly insane flip flop on Russian aggression?
2008 GOP: "Russian unprovoked invasion of sovereign nation = bad"
2024 GOP: "Russian unprovoked invasion of sovereign nation = "
@@nottelling4828 You're deflecting. Kamala is just as clueless as Palin yet they're hiding her and the media goes along with it.
Mediocre Julianne.
