The ONE - **Country Dance LIFT Tutorial** (aka "Wheel of Fortune")

We call this lift, "The One!" Mostly because we could never remember what it was actually called -- but we're pretty sure others call it the "Wheel of Fortune." Either way, it's such a fun lift/flip to master! Make sure you have sufficient space when you're learning & performing it -- dance etiquette is so important! That looks awesome! Any tips for when the girl is taller than the guy? (I'm neat always as tall or taller being 5'11") And also any tips for doing lifts in a skirt/dress? Thanks so much for the tutorials! Love them! Especially the ways to dance into them, that's a great addition!

Grant is 6ft and is strong enough that he's done this same lift with girls who are much taller than Shalee. However, finding a partner who compliments you is really the key! This is probably not one of those lifts you'd do in a dress/skirt since it could critically impair the guy from catching and throwing you correctly. Thanks for watching!

Question: is there anything to add about the arm for the base when connecting after the full 360? Hand placement is under and more on the shin?
Also it looks like the base bends one knee and leans at the end for a pose?

I tried this and it didn't go so well, I'm 5ft tall and 90lbs and my bf drops me 😭😭😭 thankfully we were doing it at the beach so I didn't fall too hard.
