I start off this video talking about the Native American style flutes, their history, how they work, how I got into them, and how 1 of them went missing for years which is what sparked this idea in the first place. After briefly demonstrating how they sound naturally, I spend the remaining time making some improvisational music with them, adding reverb & delay (echo) effects to create a relaxing, dreamy type of effect, and potentially trigger ASMR. I think it might be time for me to branch out and acquire some other flute styles, such as the shakuhachi, anasazi, etc.

At 19:34 to 22:30 I felt like I was listening to the story of a lone wolf in the winter. The loneliness and the struggle that the wolf had to endure. It painted a sad yet surreal picture and was great to imagine!

As a German, it’s always so incredibly interesting seeing and hearing something about the Native American culture and people. Our people always have had a special place in our hearts for the „Indianer“, as we call them. Wonderful! Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Growing up in the mid 2000s I was surrounded by a lot Native American flute music, so hearing this brings back many memories.

I really enjoyed this video it was very relaxing and enjoyable, as well as informative because I honestly didn't know they were called Native American style flutes. I kinda just assumed they were all Native American flutes. And as a Native American it really warms my spirit to see people appreciate our arts and music. This reminds me a little bit of my childhood. My father used to play the Kalimba for me when it was time to fall asleep. Very beautiful and calming instrument.
When you see a glimpse of something that reminds you of your early childhood and your mind is immediately flooded with memories long forgotten and events from what seems like eons ago

My grandmother used to play native flutes, she adored instruments and collected all kinds just to dabble in them.. Native flutes though, she adored and could play for hours.. Watching this videos def brings back the nice memories I had with her while she was still alive. Means a lot to me, Unc, thanks for a stunning improv session. 💚
I met an older Native man in rehab who used to play his flute in the stairwell. All of us recovering addicts/alcoholics silently speckled the stairways beneath him, secretly listening like we had stumbled upon something unfathomable and sacred.
I wish both of us had recordings, in lieu of that though, there's this guy, and this lovely video where I'm finally not laughing too much to sleep 😊

i understand being a jack of all trades. today i saw someone online who had said "the learning process is an adventure, the skill is a chore" and somebody else had added to that by saying that the learning process is invigorating, but when the thing is mastered, his brain is ready to learn the next thing. i relate! always looking to learn and grow. thank you for your incredible videos 🙏🏼

I can't express how much Native American flutes give me a sense of peace. Makes me feel like going back to live in small communities, living in a primitive lifestyle, and sorrounded by nature where capitalism doesn't exist and the night sky is clear

As an adhder, I relate to that intro very personnaly. You my not have a diagnosis and I understand the wish to not self diagnose yourself, but if it was something you felt yourself struggle with during your life it's never too late to check it out with a specialist.
I used to think I was only depressed, but my inability to put effort in things and be ambitious enough to work through my difficulties Came from adhd but were the cause of my depression. So I'm just putting this out there for anyone who my need to read this or your ER, and now I'll go listen to the flutin' 😄

This is a go to for me. The flutes with reverb just hit so well. I can only get ASMR from music, and this doesn’t fail. Please do more, especially with the reverb and echo. Incredible, chill inducing.

Your channel never ceases to surprise and delight. Having a diverse set of interests (aka being a Jack of all Trades) is often looked down upon because people want to sort you in a specific “drawer”. But your channel proves that embracing this trait within oneself can be like a traveler journeying through the world and expanding their horizon. Your story of recalling where the flute is something that happened to me too recently. While moving my pc keyboard one of the keys went flying off into my bookshelf. I saw where it went but didn't go to look for it until a couple minutes later and by that point I forgot where I saw it fly off to. I looked every where for it, but it was missing for several months. Then one night randomly in one of my dreams my brain just decided now was the time to remind me where I saw it fly off to.
