The idea of soft-spoken singing was what first primed me for ASMR. My grandma used to sing to me when I couldn't sleep as a kid. I'd ask her ""just one more song!" She'd get visibly annoyed lol, but she'd still do it, because she was lovely. Years later I found ASMR and it gave me that same safe, warm tingly feeling, but I never came across the same singing style. I thought it just wouldn't be a thing. Last year, she passed away, on the other side of the country, during Covid. I tried to get all the paperwork exemptions and stuff, but that plus flight delays meant I never got to say goodbye. Thanks for letting me find that space again.

My sis always says my choice of music is depressing, but i think sad songs feel comforting on a bad day. Happy songs feel meaningless when the concept of happiness seems so foreign. Some days i just need to allow myself to cry lol.

Lauren... You were there for me after a very serious acoustic trauma that left me disoriented for many years. My mental and physical health were on a rapid decline at one point. It's video's like this that helped me appreciate asmr from a different perspective, where I focused on your singing from ear to ear to help me sleep. It's August 1st, 2023... a full moon, and once again I'm just here to listen. I hope my time spent watching you as of late isn't messing with my karma. I always have faith that your videos will provide a comfort, and sometimes they even speak to me.. as I continue this personal journey of healing & self-discovery, this rebuilding of positive routines, this new life of well-being... and a vice I pray is forgivable, towards a certain Fox that resonates with me 🙂

I played this video and, when I heard "Happier tan ever", couldn't stop crying. I don't know what happened, but everything that was triggering my anxiety, just left my body with my tears, and I was able to sleep after that. I’ve been listening to this video most nights to go to sleep as a replacement for unhealthy habits. This is one of the most effective relaxing measures I can take. Don’t change what you do. Just keep singing and scratching and kissing… I love it. If you did post an album of things like this to Spotify, you’d be my #1 artist, which might be embarrassing to explain to people, but worth it. I love you and your channel.

I live in New Zealand and while this was happening we were in a lockdown so that really messed with me as I was stuck with my Thoughts for awhile. I watched this video for the first time almost exactly a year ago from now, it was one of the hardest times of my life. I came back to this video constantly to comfort myself during anxiety attacks and massive depressive episodes and every time without fail I was able to calm down and cheer up a lil. Fast forward a year later and I’m doing so much better than I was then and I’ve been genuinely smiling for the first time in a year and I haven’t needed to watch this video in almost two months and just today TH-cam recommended this video to me again. I still have a lot of work to do, between CPTSD, an anxiety disorder and severe depression caused by old trauma, the worst heartbreak I’ve ever lived through and a gender crisis, it’s a lot to work through, but between therapy and this one video I’ve been able to heal immensely. I didn’t think I’d survive to see the light at the end of this tunnel.
