LOL at that restaurant, and the RV at 3 am - there’s always one!…. I always wanted to visit Canada in general and QC specifically. Thanks for sharing 👍
Absolutely!
Hello Joe!
Quebec is amazing, and beautiful! I love the French language. Thanks for the video! Take care! ~ Hardy MAAS
Thanks, you too!
hello joe, did you ever watch ed March videos, entitled, C 90 adventures? When he was traveling across Canada from the Pacific side all the way across during the winter camping out, when he reached Quebec, he and his girlfriend riding her own Honda c90, they were stopped by the police in Quebec. They were not allowed to even drive out of Quebec. On their motorcycles, they were fined $500 for driving a motorcycle in the city in the winter, and they had to contact someone somewhere which they did, that would haul their motorcycles out of the city limits, so they could operate them again to continue their trip. they have some kind of an ordinance about not riding a motorcycle in the city during the winter. Did you see any type of special rules for motorcycles when you were there? Because I would like to take a ride up through there because this not very far from where I am here in Western Pennsylvania.
have you ever run into a special situation with a local government that was anti-motorcycle? I have heard that some of the national parks do not allow any motorcycles in the parks. Have you run into that situation anywhere?
The rotisserie chicken diet! Love the contrast pictures, neat as a pin Quebec towns and large palatial churches! Keep up the good work!
That's right! Will do, thanks for watching!
So hats off to you for going down that muddy road and not dropping the bike. I know I would have at least once. Also I agree that mural i just knew was real at first. They did a really good job on it. Also enjoyed the music you had to go along with the city. Matched very well with the video.
Thanks man! It was sketchy, especially being all packed up. I was feathering the clutch to keep my speed under control, and to keep from sliding… I don’t think it liked it.
very nice. Can't wait to see where you stayed in Mattawa Take Care Joe
That one was a doozy lol. Stay tuned!
Was I the only one that thought when I saw that Blue Tractor Farm thingy, I bet Joe could drive under it !
Maybe on a shorter bike lol. I know a guy that did it on a rigidframe
Chug that syrup like super troopers..😂
Beautiful footage of Quebec City! What a cool place. Hey don't forget little Joe while there...I think French ladies yell "wi"
Lmao
Wow Quebec City looks amazing! I gotta go there and check it out…thanks for the great video
You should!
@Rural Overlanding Studio Hello Love the channel!!! Thank you for the videos.
Thanks for watching!
Tres bien monsieur...
Merci beaucoup
You mentioned a background check , I can't remember ever getting one before ,but that was years ago. Not that I'm public enemy #1 or anything. lol,,,,What a Magnificent place !
Took about five minutes. Presumably they pull up your criminal history. I hear they don't accept anyone with felonies and/or DUIs
Great tour of La Belle Province!
Glad you enjoyed it! ✌️
Camper coming in that early in the morning makes you appreciate your wild camp sites all the more.
You got that right! 💯 Lol
Et Voila! you've got a little piece of the Old France under your belt...next time direction the real deal France! Great Video as usual! A bientot mon frerot...!

Hey Joe! Nice video once again. Glad you enjoyed your time in Quebec City, it really is a great place to live. I'm glad I didn't looked too weird on camera. I meant to say that my bike has 23k km not 2300... oh well. Keep on the great work and aventure on ! Peace !
I figured that’s what you meant lol. Thanks for being in the video man! Made a good ending for it ✌️
That was a great video, Aaron. I enjoyed it immensely. Have a great week.
Joe* lol
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond, sorry. I get Scott's friends mixed up.
Joe, I’m about 95% on the carnivore diet. Have been for about 4 months. Of course, primarily meat including chicken, fish, beef and turkey. I also include avocados due to the good fat content.
“Avocados are a source of vitamins C, E, K, and B6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids. Avocados contain high levels of healthy, beneficial fats, which can help a person feel fuller between meals.”
I do add fruit including grapes, cherries, apples and oranges.
The diet is simple and I feel much better and never bloated. I try to stay away from carbs.
Of course I’m 67. Gotta take care of myself with diet and exercise.
Good stuff man. 👍 None of us are getting any younger. I feel sharp as a tack when I'm on it
Fantastic video your videos are getting better every time you help me go places that I no longer can go to thanks alot brother
Glad to hear it! Anytime bro
Joe
I had clutch slippage on one of my road racing machines during a race weekend. I ended up using thin washers About as thick as a United States dime to shim the clutch springs so they would Increase spring pressure on the clutch and that completely eliminated my clutch slippage.
👍
Nice video Señor! Thanks for taking us along to places far away from my Texas desert life.
Por supuesto! ✌️
Great video thanks for sharing. . I am not much for the big cities. Seeing the old architecture is cool
You and me both. Some of them are dope though
Well joe I thought Canada was full of smoke , you make good videos man
Depends how the wind is blowing
It’s really depending on the wind that day… but it’s not as bas it it was last week… the rain help
Thanks again for bringing us along Joe, I enjoy your travels!
Anytime!
I love these videos of yours! It shows a kind of freedom to explore new places in peace. I just happen to be reading Shadows on the Rock by Willa Cather, and places in this book are popping up in this video! So cool!
Awesome! Glad you enjoy them! ✌️ cheers
👍 So much good content, ride safe🏍️ !!👍
Thanks so much!!
JOE!! Glad to see you're doing good brother!! Great work like always!!
Always appreciate it man ✌️ thanks
You’re doing a great job with your channel and I’m confident big sub numbers will come!
Been a long journey thus far. I just keep trying to make decent stuff
Great video Joe.
Thanks man
Nice video, thanks
Thank you too
Time to order clutch plates and a cover gasket. If you aren't familiar with them, not all the plates are the same. I don't understand the mechanics of this, but the inner and outer plates are different from the center ones. I've pulled a trailer with a 800 Marauder, 900 Vulcan, now a CTX1300. The smaller bikes required clutch replacement because of the extra load and I'm sure someday the CTX. So I already have the parts when it's time, but this has a hydraulic clutch, so no advanced warning like you're getting. Maybe change them in Sturgis while you have friends and extra tools at your disposal. Just in case Murphy's law should get in the way.
Welcome to Quebec and thanks for sharing your motorcycle adventures!
De ríen!! Merci mon frére ✌️
Packing they let me thru that boarder but kept it till i came back thru into us again. In sturgis now. Come see chip at 3 wheel rally. He has since of humor working on the snowmobiles. :)😂
En route
Good stuff.
Thanks!
Can't believe you ended up in Marquette! Thats where I was laid over with my break down a couple of weeks back. Cool city.
Oh damn, I remember lol. Not a bad spot at all man.
Been there done that on the poor muddy roads searching for a camp site (on a Goldwing tour I bought new in 2020, loaded 1,000 plus lbs)
Don't care for Canadian flies/mosquitoes. Try Publix & Ingles for the best fried chicken breast & the boars head subs when in the south ,
P.S. Publix might have the best carrot cake.
Living in a hammock most of the time.
Ride safe brother!
Always 💯
If you can find Merguez a spicy lamb sausage, used in Paris as a hotdog replacement, delicious in a baguette with real French mustard
I need to try some of that lol
BROUGHT ME BACK TO THE LAST TRIP WE MADE TO QUEBEC. GREAT TIMES.
✌️
Joe, I enjoy your travel vlogs they take me places I would otherwise never get to visit. Thank you for taking us along.
Of course!
Jo I did enjoy your show
Thanks from the Netherlands
Glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thank’s Joe
✌🏻
Great video
Thanks 😎
Kool donuts
at 11:55 you were not on Pond de Québec ( that is the one to your right ) but on the Pierre Laporte. 👍
Ok 👍
If you visit Australia, here's a head start learning the language. Rotisserie chicken is 'hot chook' 🙂
Lmao! 🤣
You need to check out;
Observatory of mount mégantic in
Notre dame des bois on your way back
Next time!
Another great video hope to see you in sturgis
I'll be there!
Awesome
Appreciate it
Thats a lot nicer than where I was in Canada. I remember being in Detroit late at night and I was exhausted but didn't want my bike getting boosted so I figured I'd cross the border and get a room, when I got into Canada it was worse than Detroit🤣....safe travels, man👍
Lmao 🤣 thanks man
The last time I crossed that border was in '96. I remember pot holes big enough to swallow a VW beetle. Bad neighborhood on both sides of the bridge.
@@gregorytubbs3444 if you go to Quebec… well you will see that did not change some are sink hole… bigger then my tire
@@gregorytubbs3444 you ain't kiddin. I crossed it after you in '04 and on the Canadian side there was prostitution and all sorts of garbage. We rode through the night and found a little motel with a gravel parking lot on Lake Erie and down the rode was Claire's Harley Davidson I remember. Long time ago.
@@sommebuddyI don't believe Any downtown cities in the US are nice, and I've been to quite a few for work. A friend has been a school bus contractor for over twenty years, taking field trips to Baltimore and DC. It's gotten so bad at some places drivers refuse to go back. The schools are told, if you want to have a game, you come to us. We aren't coming back. I dealt with the Chicago and Milwaukee areas over twenty years, with all the liberal policies going on now, I'm not going back. That's the current state of the 2nd largest country in the world.
Great video I hope to go on that trip next year. Stay safe out there.
Will do 👍
Great Video. I stayed in La Citadel a few times back in my military days. It's a great place to stay during la carnival.
Awesome!
I must be one with the earth😂 someone stopped by the dispensary. Good stuff Joe be safe out there ✌
Lmao 🤣 maybe just a flashback to the 90's
Hey Joe, this was once again a fantastic video! Canada looks magnificent (not to mention all the amazing history) and I give you lots of kudos for disciplining yourself to learn the language (even if not great lol) - you are now a very sophisticated multi-lingual, culturally-enhanced person so congratulations - you're practically James Bond himself ... hahaha! In all seriousness, it is quite impressive and I think it's really great how much you're able to travel each year! I'm sure you're on your way to Sturgis at the moment so travel safe brother and enjoy the ride! Definitely looking forward to the videos yet to come! Thanks for all you do, you really are an inspiration my friend and I appreciate all the effort that goes into producing and sharing these videos! Ride safe and stay vigilant! 🏍🏍🏍
I keep looking for the Bond chicks... They're not in the woods as far as I can tell lmao 🤣 Will do brother, thanks for watching!
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond Hahaha - that's hilarious! 🤣
You’ve come a long ways brother in nearly 4 years. Adding up volumes of memories and experiences.
💯
You are a brave man ! Great video
Thanks!
Awesome, thanks for taking me along.
Glad you enjoyed it
Exciting travels, thanks for sharing….
Anytime 😎
🏕 Your camping vlog was amazing! The footage was so well-shot, and I loved seeing the beauty of the great outdoors. New fan from Bangalore...stay in touch!
Cool! Thanks so much! ✌️
I really enjoy your adventures. Hoping to catch up in Biketoberfest. Be safe traveling
I’ll be there 😎
🤘
Old to see a video of you again. Looking good. I’m off to WI for the 120th. Ride safe Joe.
120th what?? I’m right next to WI
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond yes, Harley 120th anniversary shindig. Big party in Milwaukee
Great film work My man.
Edit: I commented 5 mins in. Halfway through I didn't want the vid to be over.. Quebec City is beautiful..
THanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it 😎
maple syrup and shrooms to really connect to earth lol
lmao
A gee whiz question;
When traveling to other countries like you do; What do you do for motorcycle insurance and such? Also, all the French I know; I learned from Pepé Le Pew..
I was sad when they canceled him. I think you're supposed to buy it for Canada. I didn't. I bought it once for Mexico, but that was it.
This is Travel Network quality stuff. Really enjoyed it. What's the average cost to show up at a gym to work out and shower? See you in Strugis.
Thanks man! Hey- I do what I can. Sometimes it don’t amount to much 🤣 see ya Sturgis buddy!
Prices on the gym/ showers vary widely $8-$15
🤘😎🤘

Sounds good 👍
Have you had to replace the clutch in your bike yet?? Going in and out of wooded areas people definitely tend to slip the clutch alot which takes life off quickly.
No
Watch out for those Bigfoot Joe
They're out there
I've been looking at specs and reviews of your bike and the CTX700 with DCT. What I would like to see is the general gas tank layout of the NC750. The only thing that turns me off about that bike is the gas cap under the seat. So I'm curious to see if it would be possible to flip the tank 180 degrees and put the cap in the frunk.
It’s a bit of a PITA. You get used to it. The gas economy makes up for it
How’s the clutch Joe?
Still going.. 🤞
Etienne is riding a Super Duke, did you take it for a spin? Best V twin on the planet!! Cool vid, Joe.
Watched a little further and I was mistaken, a 790 is a parallel twin, but the 1290 is a great animal, if you get a chance, take a ride on one.
Oh, I'm sure it's awesome! ✌️
When people start camping to close too me I just start walking around naked and throw beer cans everywhere.
Unfortunately the cops get involved lmao
If you're traveling through Orillia Ontario hit me up, you can camp in my backyard and I will cook up some ribs, you must be sick of chicken!🇨🇦🤘
I'm in Michigan already man. Next time!
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond safe travels, you're not alone🇨🇦🏍🤘
Sturgis soon
💯

Don’t you need the jab to go into Canada
Not for more then a year. same for us going to the USA
No I think they changed that recently to get in. But I think Canadians still need it to get into usa
Not anymore. The US is the most bass ackerds of all…
@@Raven44 I am Canadian from Montreal, Québec, and i spend 3 weeks in may going to key west and back… and i just came back from a 7 day road trip to the US Yesturday… the custom both way ask for nothing more then the passeport or a Valid ID.
Obtain Canada Funny Money? Don’t they accept credit cards for fuel and for rotisserie chicken? Funny backward folk 😜
That was the problem. You got to call the bank to clear the int’l transaction. F’n bank was closed
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond it's best to use a credit card when you can. You get the current exchange rate and no exchange fees like switching cash at a bank.
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond and also. Can you set this up yourself using the credit card app?
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabondLive and learn. I always call the bank before travelling to clear them for any transactions.
