Another winner. I love seeing you travel through "my backyard". I was in Graham County Wednesday because I saw a patch of blue sky and decided to take a ride. Yep - rain, sleet, road construction, fog - everything that could go wrong for a fairly new rider ... and I LOVED every minute of it.
Hi Isabelle. You used your initiative very well getting out of the gated community and also with getting your panniers opened by the "criminal" 😁👏. Well done. So many bends and twisties in such short distance; it would definitely be a blast to ride😀. The scenery and the twisties were certainly worth the 5 out of 5 you gave them. Excellent footage. Isabelle you know when to ride carefully and are fully cognisant of the various conditions you find yourself riding in; this makes you are a very capable rider, never doubt that. Take care and stay safe.
Wonderful video! It’s fun to watch a TH-cam with you riding my favorite roads. There are many popular rides here but secret ones as well. 🤫 Of course we never speak of these! Best!
I did the Dragon for the first time in June of 2022. It was a cool road and I checked it off my bucket list but I don't think I'll do it again anytime soon. We went during the wk and there was still lots of traffic. In May my friends and I are doing the skyline drive and the entire BRP. Hopefully we don't get caught in a torrential down pour but we always bring rain gear just in case. Keep up the good video's. 👍
I rode it last Tuesday after being soaked in a rainstorm in Knoxville. Downside, it was wet, upside, spectacularly beautiful and lush, and EMPTY. Started at the top and finished in Deals Gap.
Wundervoll, tolle Erzählung der Geschichte super editiert! Vielen, vielen Dank!! Schöne Grüße vom Schwarzwald! Da wo es über hunderte von km viele Kurven gibt... 😏
Thank you Google for translating :-) Well, touring Europe is on my bucket list so I'll make sure to ride in the Black Forest for sure. Thanks for the tip.
@@dustnroad Don't forget the Voges (Vogesen) nearby (the Twin-mountains of the Black Forest), with the pittoresque villages and small, twisty und bumpy curves... I think you speak french as Quebeckoise ?! 🤗 And of course the Alps (the french parts and others, from West to East) ... 😀 Send me a Message, when you start to plan and i will send you some ideas for tours. And we gave allways a sleeping place nearby 🤗
@@bombadil_moto Great. I'm taking note of all that. Yes, I do speak french. And I'm actually orgininally from Belgium. Moved here at 30yo. But wasn't riding at the time so this is something I really want to do.

Hey, your road trips look very much like mine ;-)

Thanks a lot for all the kind words and comments, Jeff, as always. And yeah, that specific day called for a lot of initiative and caution.

Darn, that's harsh lollll Now I'll keep wondering what those secrets roads are ... But thanks for the good words :-)
@@dustnroad 😉❤️
Thank you! I may make it to The Dragon one day , but my favorite roads are the empty ones here in New England.
Yeah, I'm a big fan of empty roads as well

I agree, the Dragon is iconic but once is just enough. In the next video, I’m riding the BRP, make sure you don’t miss it.
@@dustnroad looking forward to the video. I've done certain sections of the BRP but never in its entirety.👍
Another good one my friend. Keep ‘em coming. 😊
Thanks John. They'll keep coming :-)

You are all over the place! Yeah, riding the rail is no fun when it’s packed

The helmet is light and comfortable but I find it more noisy than expected for the price point
Great video, the tail looks like a blast, I just wonder when it is less busy.
Early morning on week days is the best. Week-ends are crazy. But yeah it's a blast
Wow alot of nice view, ma'am 😊😊
Yes ma'am! :-)
