I agree Anastasia, that a clean, prepped nail is so satisfying. It also completely destroys the thought that enhancements ruin your natural nail (only if done improperly!!!!). When you called yourself a LAZY nail tech I had to laugh 😂 you are so professional and such an inspiring teacher. Anything BUT lazy. Your voice is another calming factor that makes me pay attention. You never rush or speed through things your classes and videos have taught me more than anyone else ever has!!!! Thank you for all you do to promote good, healthy, professional techniques. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
The black higher quality nail drill is actually cheaper than the pink one with the coupon offered right now. Nice ! I would love to see a video of you testing cheap Amazon nail bits. Some are a real bust and I’m not sure how to tell if they will be decent
Try pana bits! She actually has an Amazon store where she links some. They’re great quality and a good price - not the absolute cheapest but not expensive.
@@sue8412 yes. I love the tiny pana safety bit. I bought one to try it & then had to buy 4 more bcuz 😍😍😍😍 it’s sooo good for cuticle care. For toes that often have a lot of dryness and for ppl with dry finger nail cuticles. Then I use the flame bit for anything too stubborn for the safety bit. Plus the pana safety bit just removes so quickly without scraping the natural nail. I’m a tech in training. LOVE the pana ceramic bits.
Love when you do longer vids! I do my prep for cuticles at 5rpm, and removal 15-20rpm. From my experience a quality efile has really good torque, otherwise you do need to work at higher speeds. XOX Luna 💅🏻
Well, it was really lucky that you did this review! I was doing my nails yesterday, and my nail drill just....died!! Mid mani. I'd only bought it about 3 months ago, but it was quite cheap. False economy. My new Yafex nail drill arrived today, and it's extremely good and really quiet. So, I'll be finishing my main tomorrow!! Thank you! Xx
one day i want to have my nails done by you 💕 it would be the best set of my liiiife! the way you gently but firmly clean the cuticles and nail plate, i love it!!
The nails before you applied the nail polish were so beautiful and clean . So neat and smoothly shaped . The colors were fun . I don’t care for the black spots on the top coat looks like it’s dirt stuck on there but that’s a matter of style preference. Thank you for such a detailed nail fill process. You do such excellent work ❤
Thank you for the review and explanation. I'm a DIY and only do my own nails. Since I'm still learning I should get the first drill. Thank you for your clear tutorials, I'm learning a lot 😊❤️🌹💕.
Just a suggestion, u should turn the rpm’s down before u switch the direction of the drill. To be at 20k rpms and just switch directions will definitely eventually burn up the motor. It’s the same thing as waiting for your car to stop before u switch from forward to reverse or vise versa
I always do this. I don’t know if it’s just me but I feel like the speed is different as well when it goes to forward from reverse, almost like reverse runs slower...bit weird. So I just turn the thing down before turning direction then alter speed after. 🤷♀️
Depends on the e file though. Some automatically stop the rotation when you switch direction so it's okay. If it doesn't have that function of course you need to turn down the speed completely before switching.
When I do my manicure at home I put gel top coat over regular nail polish (lasts 2-3 weeks) and I've been hand filling off the gel top coat and soaking with acetone. It's so much work though and now you've got me considering an e-file. Thanks for your reviews!
Just bought the black and gold based on your review. I’m just starting to do my nails more and wanted to get something that was powerful and lightweight from the start. Thanks for your review!
Great work! Please make a video where do you speak more about greenies and how to cure/avoid it. I recently had a client with this problem and I was terrified because I just started to do nails and nobody told us about it in nail courses ☹😱 thanks to God it wasn't that bad, only one nail was green, but anyway it was not nice and client was scared that it is fungus or something 😒
I love watching you perform your dry manicures on clients. You are afloat so perfect and they look so clean. I'm just a nail enthusiast, but I do hippie to be some what good as you one day because I can never still enough skin on the sidewalls to be able to clip it and it just never looks clean at the end my cuticles that is.
I would definitely pick the black one even though I’m retired and I only do my own nails I work with acrylic I don’t use gel so I need something powerful enough for me to really get my acrylic off as quickly as possible
I really enjoy watching your work! I am learning so much from your channel and classes. I hope to get further into the classes soon. If a choice had to be made, it would be the black one since I would like to add nails to my small business.
I have learned so much through your videos! Thank you, Anastasia 💕 I would love if you did a video on how to deal with clients who have oily nails. I find it much harder to do dry manicure and have good retention on oilier nail beds. Any tips?
Could you do a video listing your favorite RUSSIAN brands that ship to USA? Like even-or especially-include ones that don’t have English websites. It’s easy to use a webpage translator but can be difficult figuring out who will ship here. So far i have found MiLK, Mystique and Cosmoprofi but I want MORE!! I am hooked!
Very nice review n info on these mandrills. Such a beautiful transformation of the nails. Beautiful. N beautifully done. I would choose the first one. To get used to the use of them. Tfs my friend ☺️
your definition of lazy is different.. I"m lazy so I apply product without too much sweating over the shape because I can sculpt and shape them with a file later. I just make sure the prep is good enough to prevent lifting
The nails are beautiful them drills look great I think black to although they both very pretty I’m looking for a drill right now I need one badly but they are so expensive being on low income is hard to buy but I would be interested to see prices so I will look 👀 just always feel down and like giving up when unable to get products needed but thanks so much appreciate your helping 🥰🥰🥰
How long does it take to do a fill for you? My clients come in expecting their fill to take an hour or less it's just not enough time for me so it makes me feel less of a tech because I can't complete it in their time frame
So, I have never drilled a hole from the bottom up (yet), but I HAVE accidentally drilled dips into my natural nail from overfilling and angling my e-file wrong as a beginner (and since my nails grow slowly, they are still there to taunt me, two years later).
I've made the same mistake too, when I was first learning on myself, I finally got the hang of it and managed to stop over filing my natural nails - until I used a new 5 in 1 ceramic bit to finish file... I didn't realise that there was a teensy weensy little blob at the tip of the bit, thought I'd just neatened up my cuticles, didn't feel anything was wrong. Then when my nails grew out about a month later, I could see the darker, recessed dip! 🤦🏻♀️
I think this is the first mistake we all make with e-files, it takes a bit of practice to tell product and cuticle from "oh that's natural nail dust....Oops!". This is why I ALWAYS tell beginners go super light and work slow, you'll get there.
I have that egg shell topcoat, same colour (brand is Senvenski I think), I just can’t get it to look very nice though. The bits take forever to mess about with, they either cluster or leave bare areas and my nails end up looking a bit mouldy rather than like eggs 😂. Never understood this trend but to each their own I guess lol.
@@Anon_E_Muss just as finicky if they’re that small I guess. I’ve tried with glitter hexagons the same size roughly, so finicky. But I don’t have a Crystal katana 😂. It’s a nightmare even trying to do it with Mylar and gold leaf. Like five mins of faffing about per nail. Lol. Probably why I prefer glitter topcoats and nail foils these days 😂.
@@JadeLeaf1980 yeah after I thought about it I realized it wouldn't work lol. Thanks for pointing me towards a brand, I would buy it if it was sold as a single polish and not a set.
Hi Anastasia 🙋🏽♀️ this efile looks cool with the light etc. In a previous video you said that for power, that 35- 40 watts is best, especially for acrylic. Have you tried the black efile on acrylic yet? Can you let me know how it performs on with acrylic please? Your work is flawless as always❣️ I wouldn’t say you are a “lazy” tech at all! You go above and beyond in your prep, compared to the majority of other techs! Ps.. could you leave a link for the Russian cuticle diamond bits you use (that are individually wrapped). Also which 5 in one carbide bit did you use at the start of this video ? I’m thinking maybe Kiara Sky? 🤔 I hope you are well, and managing to stay safe 🥰 Thankyou for another great video! 🙏🏽💕 xx
