Nobody can sing this song like Bobby Hatfield! He owns it!❤
"Summertime" is such a great song & has been covered by so many artists. Love this version! It shows just how good Bobby Hatfield was & his incredible range. The Righteous Brothers were known for their blue eyed soul music. These guys were the best. Bobby Hatfield with his beautiful tenor voice & Bill Medley with his deeper voice. They were magic together. Other great songs by them is "Unchained Melody", "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'', "Soul & Inspiration", "Just Once In My Life", "Ebb Tide", "Rock & Roll Heaven" etc.
These guys could sing, and without any of the acoustic help used by most "singers" today.
There is nobody these days that can do that!! So talented. Janis Joplin also does an amazing version of this! Bobby has more than his share of the juice!
This is so awesome! Bobby has such an incredible voice. Love this. Love your reaction!
This song was from a black opera "Porgy and Bess" by the great Ira Gershwin.
.........and his brother, George who threw a few notes together and came up with the toooons.
Now you got to react to you"ll never walk alone. Bill and Bobby are so good.
Notice his feet don’t move at all. The energy all goes into his voice.
Now it's time for "Righteous Brothers AND The Blossoms Night time is the right time"
Bobby was such a great talent everyone loves the rightous brothers ❤
Man 1965 was a good year. Bobby sang this…and I was born 😁
Such an amazing vocalist..just incredible. Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out ✌️ ☮️
Bill's solo after this was "Old Man River", I believe, and it's wonderful. Now you're finally getting into the essence of the Righteous Brothers that we watched every week on Shindig. They are more noted for their R&B and can really let it rip like this. Don't know of anyone else who was such a master of both sets of vocal cords like Bobby Hatfield was. His range was so unbelievable that he invented his own notes when they ran out of piano keys. Hope you dive into more of their livelier and humorous performances. What the Righteous Brothers do with "You are My Sunshine" will wow you, you'll laugh your butt off at "Ko Ko Joe", and I think you'll enjoy "I Need Your Loving Everyday". There is still a ton more videos that will knock your socks off.
I need your loving everyday is one of my favorites. Bobby's passion and excitement are catching. I can't watch it without laughing with joy. His vocals were always amazing but WOW what an entertainer he was. He could hold anyone's attention. It's so hard to believe that he was always nervous before a show but I've heard him say it several times in interviews and you can tell sometimes if he talks before singing. Singing seems to calm him down. That is/was his element. Bobby Hatfield will live on as long as his music is around.
These versions of "Summertime", "Ol' Man River", and also "My Babe" were on a television show called Something Special in 1965. The Righteous Brothers were regulars on the great Shindig television show, where "I Need Your Loving" is one of my many favorites too, and the other songs mentioned above and also a good version of"My Babe" -- which they wrote. I love their rhythm 'n' blues and rock 'n' roll more than the ballad hits started by Phil Spector, though they're good too. I think that Bobby Hatfield's nervousness involved him channeling powerful music/sound/vibrations through his body being. 🎶✨
I have never heard his version 😮😮😮 dam !
Me either…INCREDIBLE 💜💜👏👏👏👏👏👏💜💜
Both of them sing from the soul..
He hits the very top of the register.Love them both since mid 60s.Super talented, both
So much soul And in a black turtleneck and V-neck sweater
Love you reaction he is true legend ❤❤
Play Bobby singing Ebb Tide. Excellent
One of my favorite Bobby performances.
Top shelf blue eyed soul.
Thank you. Loved it.
Incredible performance
Bobby you invited to the bbq 😂
Please do a reaction video of Durand Jones and the Indications with the drummer Aaron Frazier singing Is it any Wonder
Another song by them is "See that Girl," one of my favorites. It is just a solo by Bill, though.
The one and only Bobby Hatfield. No one can hold a candle to him. He had crazy high vocals. For your listening pleasure check out this version of "Summertime" done by these 2 icons, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong
Great song and reaction!
Righteous brothers have another soulful track i reccomend"i just want to make love to you" . Great piece
Beautiful music, voices, talent have No Color,,,,, close your eyes & it’s just magical, no matter what they look like🎼🎼MUSIC IS LOVE. & you can feel it in your Soul😘💜👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I Love that your Loving it💜
The guys are not related. They are called The Righteous Brothers.Bobby passed in 2003. Bill Medley is still with us.
Great reaction. You need to listen to" I Need a Girl" by Bobby Hatfield and the Paramours. Bill wrote this song for Bobby to sing lead when they were in The Paramours before they became The Righteous Brothers. It's amazing too.
"I Need A Girl" is one of my very favorite songs by my very favorite singer Bobby Hatfield. 💗
@@marymichael1211 mine too. I listen to it everyday along with many others. Bobby was amazing and I often wonder if he truly knew what he meant to everyone who heard him.

I begin my day listening to "I
Need A Girl". It regenerates the girl in me which regenerates me the 74 year old woman. I don't think that he knew what he meant to people because he was underrated, and also because time and becoming a legend adds something to the love of him. Though I have faith that somehow however spirituality functions the love that he exuded shall return to him.
💜🎶✨
@@marymichael1211 I'm younger I'll be 56 next week but I've been listening to and loving them and their music since I was 6 years old. Bobby feels like an uncle to me because he has almost always been there.

May you have a Happy Birthday next week! 🎉
Oh, and they really aren't brothers.
They just rib each other like they are
Not three people...only one; Bobby Hatfield.
Listen to What I’d Say by the Righteous Brothers and Andy Williams. It’s back online! Bobby is showing off in that video and he knows it!
That was on The Andy Williams Show. He was exhilarated because he had immediately preceding that song just sung what was to be the performance of a lifetime -- his iconic classic "Unchained Melody". 💖
Need to listen to Ella Fitzgerald sing Summertime
Another live performance that will forever be unmatched. Bobby was the real deal. No one will ever perform Unchained Melody even slightly close to his version. I haven’t checked your videos yet but if you haven’t reacted to it, when you do, it will certainly get you a million views. It is often the highest viewed video for many reactors. That tells you so much. Please react to any and all available Righteous Brothers songs and while you’re at it, don’t sleep on any Billy Joel or Paul Simon solo artist or Simon and Garfunkel. Also, not sure if you’ve reacted to Elvis Presley’s If I Could Dream. It’s a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr and Bobby Kennedy shortly after they were assassinated. I loved this reaction. “Bobby you’re invited to the barbecue.” Priceless!!! 😂
Amazing performance ! Crazy - it was like he was channeling a blues/gospel singer 😮
Thanks for another great video! I highly recommend the Ella Fitzgerald/Louis Armstrong version of this song
Great reaction as always AB!! ❤
Hall and Oates also blue eyed soul
Seems like I heard Bobby had a five octave range. Something crazy like that
I don't see that you've done this one yet... you need to listen to Righteous Brothers "I Just Want to Make Love to You" - These guys just amazing!
Blue eyed soul...Listen to Janis Joplin....she was a trailblazer for women in rock.
Nobody like her...❤️❤️
Another great Righteous Brothers song is I Just Want To Make Love to You. Bill does most of the singing. Here is a link to the song. Too spicy for a video. Enjoy!❤ th-cam.com/video/Udyqprq46b0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3pGu0-4RFxqzRISo
That's some of that BLUE EYED SOUL BAYBAYYYY😊❤
Try them singing, I Just Want to Make Love to You. Amazing soul
I believe you did a reaction to Janis Joplin performing summertime. This is the same song. I do love this version although Janis Joplin is my all-time favorite female performer ever and I just absolutely love her version of a little bit more.
Elvis should have recorded this!
Without the constant stupid interruptions needless to say, this song was beautiful. Goodnight.
WOW 😮
Hi! Just a heads up, Stray Kids are releasing a new album July 19.Yesterday they released a teaser for their new music video and song called Mountains if you’re interested.I love the song already and the video is only 1 minute long lol
Righteous !!!
Crazy, but it was sooooo good.
Talk about the high plains rifter!
'"Soul" has no color. Stereotyping Sucks! Grow up!
