I wanted an electric S Class but Mercedes made a Honda Civic EQS instead. So now I own an i7 and I love it. Aerodynamics on the EQS might be great... But who wants to pay 130k for a car that looks like 50k
It's a pity that it's nigh impossible to buy 18 inch alloys that will fit over the performance brakes in Europe. T-Sportline in the US offer 18" wheels, allowing for better comfort and cheaper tyre replacements. Import tax/customs is a killer for buying the alloys from the US though.
Beautiful C pillar design with more rear headroom over those unpopular sloping rear designed sedan from Volvo, Peugeot , Audi getting less rear headroom wanting more aerodynamic BMW sedan 👍 good designers
That rear seat panorama screen is most likely to keep children occupied. Maybe for adults to watch a movie on long trips. Does it block the rear view of the driver at all?
The Genesis wins for me. The i7 and EQS are too weird. And I even like weird cars. But too much. The interiors are the absolutely biggest factor, terrible and low quality. Screens are not luxurious. I like screens but these are a terrible way to implement them. The normal S Class is just too bland and suffer with the same cheap looking interior. The Genesis just looks like it's actually trying. I dont even like the Korean brands. But gotta go with them here.

I love the new BMW’s. Mercedes has a special place in my heart. Sorry but Genesis and Lexus just aren’t in the same ball park.

If I was to choose based on the looks, I would go for G80(EV) first, then Merc, then the ugliest, BMW.
