if im not mistaken i believe he even has a 6th gear but he has it set so he cant shift into 5th or 6th without pushing the gear stick down or pulling a lever, might be a different car but im like 90% sure thats it
I'm going to apologize in advance for what I'm about to say because it might sound rude. I've watched through the whole video and I just don't understand why you don't use left foot breaking to maintain & prolong angle/drift... I checked your youtube catalogue and you have 6.3k videos on the channel and drifting vids dating back 12 years!!! That in it self something else but it just boggles my mind how you can be in the drifting for so long and not use left foot braking to make your drifts smooth as butter, especially with this car that NEEDS left foot braking to even drive well ... but in your case you just bang on the limiter until the gear you're on can't provide enough wheelspin so the wheels slow down (Compared to the movement speed of the car)and end up gripping up forcing you to transition or lose the drift. Then you have to either add angle and then fight with the wheel and throttle to not oversteer or bog down your engine. With left foot braking you can keep the revs up all the time and control the angle with pedals and just use wheel to suggest to the car where it wants to go. The only occasion when I saw you touching the brake while drifting was at 2:09, 2:48, 2:53 and 8:14 At 2:09 - You could have easily left foot brake a bit earlier to add angle and then steered to the left a bit more to make your self drift wider avoing the pole and needed to come out of drift. At 2:48 - You can see it working here for a second, bby braking you increased angle of the car At 2:53 - Another great example but a cone was in the way, in the corner just after this you could have easily used it as well to have better control of speed and not dip the angle just like you almost did at 8:14 again but since it was done too late the effect of it was diminished losing you the drift. I mean clearly over the years you subconsciously have the ability to use it to some degree when it's panic mode and you're about to hit something but you end up just ignoring it 90% of the time. Dunno I might be over criticising a bit to much here but after watching dozen or so of your vids that pop up from recommended feed i just had to say something.
@@SCREAMILLUSION True, but not using such an useful tool when you have so many people watching you especially if you're most of your stuff revolves around drifting is just sad to see.
@@RelaxSimmerleft foot braking is a useful tool, but I believe it’s more useful for chase runs, which he isn’t doing. The issues you mentioned about banging limiter is more of a gearing issue rather than a skill issue. Generally, left foot braking is still a form of braking, which means it slows the car down. In an ideal situation, you won’t have to touch the brakes, instead you throw more angle to slow the car down, this way you actually carry more angle through the corner, whereas if you were to use the brakes, it means you won’t have enough speed to carry the same amount of angle through that corner. Look at Hiroya Minowa’s lead runs, yes left foot braking helps steady the car and let’s him run an accurate lead, but he is so slow that he had to sacrifice angle in order to maintain a wide line.
@@SD_TG I disagree, It's a tool to be used when needed this whole ruhmor about "you don't need to left foot brake" is garbage. With throttle alone you can't hold drifts for very long because the car always wants to shoot forwards especially the cars like these who have tons of grip. Minowa fked up adam IMHO not because of braking is because he didn't step on the gas early enough. You can maintain speed just fine with left foot braking while still using it to hold the angle. And I'm not saying you need to left foot brake all the time but when you actually have the use for it. After all it's a tool ...

Nice one slap 👌🏻 👏🏾 👍
Can you take a look at Adam’s S15 mod I made?
SLAP
Very cool video slap train
I feel like given how well he did in the E36, I'm hoping he'll find another chassis and rebuild it.

lol he just built a brand one a couple months ago.. running it in DMEC and it absolutely rips
RIP Blue E36 😢
I have never testet GT7, maybe this is the time I do that.....
Fifth gear? I thought Adam had a four speed in the E36?
