      Green Bay was unfairly stacked in receivers then.

      @@Wolf_3125 Cobb had lots of smarts and was very versatile. Defense was still pretty good. No one could have foreseen the loss of Nick Collins.
      That was a major blow.

      @@davem5333 True, but not resigning Clullen Jenkins, plus his replacement, Mike Neal being a bust, hurt the pass rush and run defense. And losing Nick Collins was also a major blow.

    Best sideline catch wide receivers I’ve ever seen. Marvin Harrison and Jordy Nelson.
    I mean I always thought he was mega underrated. I mean I think he was a top 5 WR of the 2010s.
    Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins and Jordy Nelson in my opinion.
    I mean what he did in 2011 was amazing. 15 TDS in only 13 starts. That’s incredible.
    And those deep post routes were just deadly.
    Truly one of my favorite players of all time.

      Prime Dez was very good as well. Jordy and Dez are actually very similar in stats. Jordy has more receptions and yards but Dez has more TDs.
      Really, you could put their best season stats right next to each other and they’re just about the same. Both were excellent at their best but I just prefer Jordy cause of the more humble nature.

      Yupp. Look at some of those catches. They haven't had anybody with hands like that since him. Adams is great but he doesn't have the hands like Nelson or that ability to turn 10 into 60

      Same here! I think mine is/was cursed, though. The year I moved I forgot my Jordy jersey at my buddy's house that was the year he tore his ACL in the preseason. The one game I didn't wear it is the game where he broke/fractured his ribs.

    I like that Nelson highlighted Rodgers' mental game as the asset that sets him apart from other QBs. People talk about his arm talent, which is incredible no doubt, but people don't speak enough on how intelligent of a passer that Aaron Rodgers is.

    This is great to watch, wish GB didn’t cut him so early in his career, he probably had another 5 years left in him with Rodgers. He’s someone you can watch and appreciate no matter what team you root for.

      He retired to running a massive ranch in Kansas. I think his retirement job is more difficult than actually being in the NFL

    Just another down to earth good farm kid. Great role model on and off the field for many. He is my all time favorite player. I am a chiefs fan but When Jordy went to the packers I became a packers fan when it did not interfere with my chiefs. Lol. I watched Jordy run at state track in 2003 when I went for my sister when they were in highschool. An old man in the stands said watch this white boy from riley county run named Jordy nelson. Hes going to be something great. He ran a 10.63 in 100 and 200 21.64 he was a beast then. He holds the 3a state records.

    I’m a K-Stater and watched him in college. Then in the NFL. I know it’s a business, but I feel he got somewhat disrespected by Green Bay when they released him. I ran into some Green Bay fans when I was elk hunting and they were upset the Packers let him go. He’s one of the best.

    One of my favorite receivers of all-time! It sucks he wasn't able to stay here in Green Bay and have a really long career. Such an underrated receiver and a really great guy.

      That is true. Even when Rodgers was hurt in 2013, Flynn never really went to Nelson. It was more Cobb, Jones and Quarless. But he was electric before his injury. I miss him.

    The man who got me into football right here! Jordy Nelson was so much fun to watch, and had great chemistry with Aaron Rodgers. I miss him still, and was really upset when they let him go. He at least seems to be doing well now outside of football, but still. Love this man and wish him the best, and will continue to wear his home and away jerseys for packer games!

    Round 2 seems to be the sweet spot for the Packers drafting WRs: Greg Jennings, Jordy, Cobb, Davante
    People always clamoring for a 1st rd WR. I want another Rd 2 WR instead

    My favorite Jordy play wasn’t even a reception. Lacy was rumbling down the field on a long run and Nelson streaked across from off-camera, on a wide shot no less, passed Eddie and blocked for him. Holy smokes he was fast and a great person, to boot. I miss those days.

    One the best receivers to play. It's sad to see the Packers today not having the talented receivers they once had. The deep threat with Jordy coupled with Rodgers' accuracy was a deadly weapon against defenses.

    From 2011-2016 Jordy was one of the most explosive WR in the game
    Could play on the outside, the slot could run all 9 routes of the route tree, clutch on the sidelines
    Guess because he was white he wasn’t given that big praise
