Taylor Hawkins | Tribute | Toazted

March 25th Taylor Hawkins sadly passed away. Taylor was a phenomenal drummer, singer and songwriter who had a major impact on his main band, the Foo Fighters. Taylor was loved by many. He was funny, friendly, passionate about music. We were fortunate enough to have met and interviewed Taylor a couple of times. In 2007 we talked to Taylor and bass player Nate Mendel about the album "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace". In this interview the viewer can get an idea what Taylor was like. As we want to focus on Taylor in this edit, we cut out the parts with Nate (sorry man). The full interview with Nate will be on line in October. Taylor discusses his influences, the three major bands he loved, the important people in his career, meeting his heroes, and stage fright amongst others.
