I've been using the AirPods Pro for over a year now and I have found noise cancelation and transparency mode to be huge game-changers. I love listening to music, especially while working, so having these features in a very portable set of headphones is great. Active noise cancelation is great for obvious reasons, but transparency mode is fantastic because it allows you to hear external sounds without it feeling like you are in some sort of glass box or bubble. I like to play instrumental music at low volume to cover the miscellaneous ambient noise at the workplace, but I don't want to be caught totally oblivious when somebody is trying to get my attention. Transparency mode is nice for this purpose.
Just did an A-B comparison and the 3’s definitely sound better than the Pros. They are a little louder, have a clearer sound and have a little more bass. They were also more comfortable in my ears. The only reason to have the Pros is if you need noise cancellation.

I decided to go Pro after watching your video. Today is Black Friday so I am taking advantage of some good discount which makes the Pro only about £20 more expensive than AirPods 3.
I use Sennheiser M2, AirPod Pro, and Beats Fit Pro, each for their own purpose. For me, M2s are superior in sound quality but are not as comfortable as the others. So while they sound amazing I can’t wear them for an extended amount of time. I prefer the overall sound quality of the Beats to the AirPods, especially with bass. So if I want to listen to music (for an extended period of time) I go with the Beats Fit Pro. But the far most comfortable for me are the AirPod Pros. I use them if I want to listen to a podcast, YT etc as I can wear them pretty much indefinitely. That along with the great noise canceling means I usually always have them with me.

Pros have been fantastic. I’d get those over the 3s for the noise cancelation. And I would take the 3s over the 1st Gen AirPods any day. Those are just so fragile
Thanks for being so informative. I saw a few videos before yours and i was just frustrated. When i clicked on your video it was straight to the point and gave me all i needed to decide thanks!
@Verretta the tips are good because at least you can clean the tips. without them the vents get earwax inside them and makes it much harder to clean. eventually the sound will stop coming through because its gunked up in there.
@@Tiger212-h7c the silicone tips is why I love my pros, with the other ones, i have to turn my volume super high just to hear my music in peace if I’m in a noisy environment. The tips seal the noise out and the noise cancellation is super good
I bought the pros in the past, but lost them. I finally decided to replace them and unknowingly I purchased the new generation 3’s. I seriously thought it was a joke. I wondered if Apple had downgraded the pro’s quality. I couldn’t even use the noise cancellation feature. They felt uncomfortable and bulky in my ears, the sound was dull, and I had to take out the headphone when someone spoke to me. I like the sleekness and transparency of the pros. I went back and exchanged them and gladly paid the difference. Those features such as “spatial audio” are useless unless you know to use it.
I bought AirPods Pro about a year ago and I gave them to my nephew after a week. They did not agree with my ears. They created a vacuum, which created pain. I got Gen 3 AirPods this Xmas, so far I love them! Spatial Audio is a game changer.
The AirPod Pros are great. Every generation has its pros and cons. You just have to decide which things you can live without. Everyone wants great wireless earbuds that fit well and don’t fall out of their ears. The other added features for the 3rd generation are great additions but I’m going to stick with my pros. It will be a short time later and Apple will come out with the 3rd generation Pros. I just wish Apple would make the pods totally waterproof. A big company like Apple can’t figure out how to make them waterproof is mind boggling.
Actually no product can claim to be waterproof because it’s impossible they can claim water resistant which they did already🤷♂️ water proof would mean you can drop them in the ocean pick them up a month later and they still work,so they can’t do that because they wouldn’t work🤣 water resistant means they can be in water for how long they rate them for usually anywhere from 30mins-2hours
So even though water resistant can somewhat mean water proof because you can submerge the product in water for longer then 30mins they can’t call it waterproof because sooner or later if the product was left in water it would stop working hope you understand what I’m trying to say🤣, also most people just assume water resistant only means light water or splashes which it doesn’t it can very well mean you can forget them in the washer and the product wouldn’t be harmed depending on the time it’s rated for
If you want a ear tip inside your ear and keeps moving while working then no but if you want no ear tip inside your ear and stays without moving too much then my choice would be AirPods 3rd
Both are very nice AirPods but based on your reviews I think AirPods 3 is much better one I hope to have that someday thank you for sharing with that Aron happy and enjoying watching always with your Videos 😊💯
I just picked up the Pro for less than the Airpod3. Retailer clearing out stock - and I reckon early 2022 there’ll be a Pro Gen 2. But for the price - no complaints! Spatial audio on AppleTV blew me away! I forgot I was using headphones. These are an update from my 3 year old B&W PX which may have better audio but oh so bulky. Will still need them for inflight entertainment movies etc though.
I got the Gen 3, returned it after few days and went for the pro. If I had tested at the stores before buying, I would have automatically gotten the pro. The sound quality is much better on the pro especially with the noice cancellation. Also, the Gen 3 does not fit my ears properly, they kept falling of. The left ear wouldn’t even sit properly in my ear, felt like it was hanging on to dear life not to fall off, which it eventually did anyway.
Excellent Work Aazzza your explanations are always crystal clear I never have to stop and think which device is he talking about now? Your one of my fav reviewers thankyou 😊
I really wanted to use AirPods Pro as my main listening device for my commutes, but the style of the earbuds just wouldn’t fit well enough to not fall out and were not comfortable for me personally (I tried all the different sizes) 😔 Will get the AirPods 3, but hopefully the next iteration of AirPods with the same AirPods 3 style earbuds will come with noise cancellation 🤞
I’m still sticking with my Powerbeats pro…I’ve tried the AirPods Pro but the battery life doesn’t last as long as the Powerbeats and they kept falling out of my ear after using all the ear tips. Plus the “features” of the AirPods Pro I don’t even need
I have all AirPods & Beats Pro & I prefer the new AirPod Gen 3s not only because of louder bass but comfort. The pros always wiggle out even with the rubber seals. Buy the gen 3s!
I recently got the Pros on sell (Wal - Mart sells them at $197.00 at the moment) and I’m not regretting the purchase. The sound quality is good, but can be low at halfway volume. They’re comfortable with the silicone tips, but ordered some memory foam tips because sound travels better and is more effective in noise canceling.
@@scoot2917 Amazon is a great place. Comply sells some foam tips for 25 bucks. I bought some cheaper alternatives, but They’re were not comfy at all, for me at least. A for Foam tips, it all depends on you and your preference. I have both. I never had the 2nd Gen Airpods and got the Airpod Pros as soon as they were released. The Pros are my main Airpods, I even just got another one for the MagSafe capabilities and maybe it's me but the newer Pros sound better? I think so. I picked up the Gen 3s because I wanted a more casual pair that I can quickly pop in and out of my ears and I can save my Pros battery for the times I need the seal and noise canceling. If you're a heavy iPhone user and you fit every use case for Airpods, I think it's well worth it to have both.
Mr Zee. Do you ever do comparisons with other brands such as Anker as I know you have some of their products. Their latest Liberty 3Pro have some interesting reviews but I would really value to hear your thoughts.
I’m so satisfied with my Airpods Pro. I love its quality. Although when it comes to bass my secondary one (Galaxy Buds 2) has more punchy bass. Gotta say I’d prefer Galaxy Buds 2 over Airpods 3, but Airpods pro is the best to me rn. Airpads max is too expensive.
Are you restricted to which phone it would or would not work with? Do they fall off your ears easily? For the cost of these two, it would be sad to loose one.
Thanks for this man, this helped a lot and I love how you gave your opinion on it and talked much more about it personally than apple. I’m new here and this was great help man, keep it up.👍
I do love the old wired earphone from apple as I think it suits my ears well. I've never tried Airpods Pro, but I usually hate ear-tips silicone on earphones. I'm now so torn whether to get the airpods 3 or Pro. I didn't know how good noise cancellation is in the first place, so better get the airpods 3 instead for the no-silicone reason?? lol
I just recently got the Pro for around the same price as the new 3s and I think you can never go back to non-pro after you go with em. But how I wish the pros had longer battery life
It all depends on the place you get your AirPods for instance if you get them from the apple store it is 249 with tax but, on the other hand if you get them from Best Buy for example they are only 219 with tax and they work the same as the ones that come from the apple store
I got the 3rd gen a few days ago, but I feel like the right one will fall off my ear. I don’t know if it’s just my thinking. Should I return the 3rd gen and get pros?
Great video. With the noise cancellation will it block out the tv? My husband is watching hockey and I can hear it with my current earbuds. Thanks so much.
I returned my AirPods Pro in favor of my old Airpods 2. Recently upgraded to the Airpods 3, and I will be keeping this one! The Pro simply didn’t fit my ear no matter what tips I used, the ventilation actually hurt my ears with the pressure, and the sound quality in the bass sounds superior in the new AirPods 3. I also find that the new 3’s have a better “noise-cancelling-to-transparency” balance anyways. The Pros seem to exaggerate both of those settings while the 3 simply sits in between. Lastly, the superior battery life of the 3’s might seem marginal with the numbers, but actually feels like a huge quality of life upgrade in everyday use.
Think you, this is exactly the answer ive been looking for. I didnt know if i should get the pro's or 3's because i dont know if im gonna need the noise canceling and transparansy mode but when you say the Airpods 3 is in between the 2 ima get the 3's

I had the Pros and they never fit me right, and the sound was ok but the 3 I was impressed with the sound!
ordered my pros yesterday. i cant wait. the loud kids on my bus can finally be an external problem. i can sit and relax without having screaming children all in my ear 🙏
R u not a child as well? 🤨
@@MenisXTO FR LMFAO, if they’re in a bus with kids then they’re most likely a kid too.
@@RealJustinRoblox What if he/she’s the driver?😕
I have the AirPod pros but need a left ear replacement because it fell inside of the greyhound bus toilet. I was so upset 😭 Now I have the AirPod 3rd gen, will see how they do.
Update ?
Had original AirPods1 & Replaced with AirPods2 6 Months Ago due to Battery Failure in original AirPods1, but definitely considering AirPods3 or AirPods Pro if go on Sale Black Friday .. Thanks for the Detailed Review of Both
Thank you for this, i was thinking about getting the Pro’s
Same
This is the video I was searching for
Got the AirPods Pro back in May 2021! Have really liked them so far! Thanks for the video!
AirPods Pro, can’t go wrong with the features and audio quality.
@Verretta the tips are good because at least you can clean the tips. without them the vents get earwax inside them and makes it much harder to clean. eventually the sound will stop coming through because its gunked up in there.
But those silicon tips are bad. That’s why i would prefer AirPods 3.
@@Tiger212-h7c atleast they wont fall out of ur ears.
@@Tiger212-h7c you can buy other types in amazon. At least you have choices to change the tips for any other material.
@@Tiger212-h7c the silicone tips is why I love my pros, with the other ones, i have to turn my volume super high just to hear my music in peace if I’m in a noisy environment. The tips seal the noise out and the noise cancellation is super good
Pros (non-MagSafe) were on sale for $250 CDN and the new 3’s are $238… for the difference of $12 I got the pros. So happy with them, ANC is amazing.
Waiting for the Pro’s 2 !! Have the Pro’s & just picked up these 3rd gens … IMO the Pro’s are better
Thanks for the video I ordered the 3rd generation instead
Best video .. explained in detail. Thanks
So even though water resistant can somewhat mean water proof because you can submerge the product in water for longer then 30mins they can’t call it waterproof because sooner or later if the product was left in water it would stop working hope you understand what I’m trying to say🤣, also most people just assume water resistant only means light water or splashes which it doesn’t it can very well mean you can forget them in the washer and the product wouldn’t be harmed depending on the time it’s rated for
Which is better while doing activities?
I got a pair of Pros last year and I’m never going back, LOL!!
Thanks for the review!
Is the "MagSafe" charging case the ONLY DIFFERENCE in updated Airpods Pro? Is Everything else the SAME?
now both the airpods pro *sold from now onwards* and the airpods 3 will have magsafe charging cases
I got the Gen 3, returned it after few days and went for the pro. If I had tested at the stores before buying, I would have automatically gotten the pro. The sound quality is much better on the pro especially with the noice cancellation. Also, the Gen 3 does not fit my ears properly, they kept falling of. The left ear wouldn’t even sit properly in my ear, felt like it was hanging on to dear life not to fall off, which it eventually did anyway.
gen 3 sound is way better i have gen2 3 and pros pros just have noise cancelation
@@K.5iftharchive wtf are you talking about? The 3s are nowhere near as good of quality as the pros lmao. Why lie?
As a user of Air Pods Pro 1st Gen. I’ve been using the Beats Studio Buds A lot more recently.
What apple watch band are you wearing?
Excellent Work Aazzza your explanations are always crystal clear I never have to stop and think which device is he talking about now?
Your one of my fav reviewers thankyou 😊
I really wanted to use AirPods Pro as my main listening device for my commutes, but the style of the earbuds just wouldn’t fit well enough to not fall out and were not comfortable for me personally (I tried all the different sizes) 😔 Will get the AirPods 3, but hopefully the next iteration of AirPods with the same AirPods 3 style earbuds will come with noise cancellation 🤞
It’s impossible to have ANC without the rubber tips because the earbud must create a seal to have ANC
I’m still sticking with my Powerbeats pro…I’ve tried the AirPods Pro but the battery life doesn’t last as long as the Powerbeats and they kept falling out of my ear after using all the ear tips. Plus the “features” of the AirPods Pro I don’t even need
Can’t wait to watch 😊 Have a wonderful day!
Once you go for the pros theirs no going back honestly completely on another level
Hey! Any reliable place to get the memory foam? And is the foam more comfortable?
@@scoot2917 Amazon is a great place. Comply sells some foam tips for 25 bucks. I bought some cheaper alternatives, but They’re were not comfy at all, for me at least. A for Foam tips, it all depends on you and your preference. To me, they’re comfortable, but since The tips on AirPods are different that standard ear tips found in common ear buds, I’ll buy some in the large or small/medium size.
The best review by far... and I have watched quite a few ! Thank you !
Wow, thank you and glad you enjoyed it.
If you're a heavy iPhone user and you fit every use case for Airpods, I think it's well worth it to have both.
very nice extensive comparison.
Very well presented and clear good info 👌
Nice wall paper !! Thx for providing a link to!
Thank you for the video, after watching it I just ordered Aipords 3. That’s the best choice for me.
@TheEditor107 I got both and I can say the pros are way better
@@hydration640 I also have both and have to say My 3s sound more crisp and balanced, however the ANC is a game changer.
Which ones are best for mowing the lawn and listening to podcasts??
This helped soo much I am just a kid and I’ll be going for the Airpod 3rd generation.
Very great comparison video!
Thanks fir your video: very helpful with information for my next purchasing decision. Blessings on your day!
How are the AirPod 3s when running or working out?
Just got the AirPods 3 today and so far I’m loving it! 😊
Beautiful video ... explain everything I wanted to know
Are you restricted to which phone it would or would not work with? Do they fall off your ears easily? For the cost of these two, it would be sad to loose one.
Thanks for this man, this helped a lot and I love how you gave your opinion on it and talked much more about it personally than apple. I’m new here and this was great help man, keep it up.👍
I do love the old wired earphone from apple as I think it suits my ears well. I've never tried Airpods Pro, but I usually hate ear-tips silicone on earphones. I'm now so torn whether to get the airpods 3 or Pro. I didn't know how good noise cancellation is in the first place, so better get the airpods 3 instead for the no-silicone reason?? lol
Nah definitely pro, difference between 3 and pro is huge
I just recently got the Pro for around the same price as the new 3s and I think you can never go back to non-pro after you go with em. But how I wish the pros had longer battery life
It all depends on the place you get your AirPods for instance if you get them from the apple store it is 249 with tax but, on the other hand if you get them from Best Buy for example they are only 219 with tax and they work the same as the ones that come from the apple store
I got the 3rd gen a few days ago, but I feel like the right one will fall off my ear. I don’t know if it’s just my thinking. Should I return the 3rd gen and get pros?
I have the AirPods Pro. Is there any issue with the regular AirPods staying in your ears?
Just one question, does Airpod 3 support automatic play/pause when you remove it from your ears?
Great video. With the noise cancellation will it block out the tv? My husband is watching hockey and I can hear it with my current earbuds. Thanks so much.
I have the 1st gen AirPods and I was wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the pros
great thorough review i was looking for good job!
@MutedHimself I’m saying they block enough noise out without it anyway.
Think you, this is exactly the answer ive been looking for. I didnt know if i should get the pro's or 3's because i dont know if im gonna need the noise canceling and transparansy mode but when you say the Airpods 3 is in between the 2 ima get the 3's
I am the opposite of you, I bought gen three online and it doesn't fit with my ears at all, so I returned them and got pro instead. I am quite satisfied with pro so far.
@@sweetstrawberry5606 yes same i have the pros i got them monday and the ANC and stereo is so good
I love your videos 😊‼️ I watch them a lot just to know about different products that come out.. I ride the bus a lot so so what would you recommend for me to buy?
Just the info I was looking for. 🙌🏻
I have 2. Gen is it worth to buy 3rd gen over those??
Noise cancellation is great for sleeping
Get the pros I upgraded from the airpod first gens and damn they are good the tips go straight into your ear when you fit the right size they never fall out the sound quality is amazing you’ll be surprised how much you’ll want to use the noise cancellation and transparency mode after first using it and the bezels on the end are a perfect control system when you squeeze to activate a feature way more reliable than tapping in a certain place
Just bought my Airpods Pro a few days ago! I love them. They cancel out literally everything at my job. I can wear these working next to a loud grinder machine, with Ear muffs over my ears.
Go for AirPods Pro. Pretty sure there are good deals out there.
Will there be a second gen of the AirPods Pro???
best review i ever saw.. well explained and detailed.
I had the 3s but they just didn’t fit comfortably in my ears so I decided to get the pros hoping they’ll be a better fit
Did they fit better ?
Or worse ?
