It would be cool if they added pannage, where a herder herds the pigs into the forests during autumn. If you don't have good forest then you'll get less bacon

@MattWarrenAust it dawned on me watching this video. A pig burgage makes 4 meat every 300 days, without the perk. But a burgage consumes 1 food every 30 days, or 10 food in 300 days No wonder the pig farmers are starving. 🤔
How many cottages with pigs and/or goats is equal to one hunting ground in terms of yield? Late=game as the town expands I can see it being very difficult to not impinge on wild animal territories
@@greghilton7797 Yeah, but I need to get into the game again and actually do the math to work out exactly when cottage farming out-competes wild hunting
Can you make a video on sheep husbandry strategies? What im using is a lamb limit around 75% of the current amount of sheep, and i dont slaughter sheep at all My city reached 70 sheep and 30 sheep (limit) providing hundreds of meet per year
Dont actually know if my strategy is good but it seems to be working Its based around the assumpion that lambs give as much meat as sheep, and that more sheep = more births. I dont know how the butcher chooses which lamb to slaughter but i assume its random so its often a older lamb that is slaughtered, which is subpar
I’m glad they’re adding this stuff in, but they need to fix more of the mechanics and less of the cosmetics if they want us to keep playing. Ale production is a mess, and my weavers aren’t doing much. All of my flax and wool go away but I barely get any yarn or linen…
Would it be better for the Game/Dev to update the Development and Policy Trees before adding in more food items? Serious Question. I'm so tired of everything being unlocked.
I'm having wood problems since this update, now my lumber yard and wood choppers all say waiting no matter what i do with the cutting area as if there are no tree
Can someone tell me if it’s worth replacing all my orchards (365 days) with pigs (150 days) I’m not sure what the yield is for apples are and if 2 meat every 150 days is worth it? Thanks

Ah good sausage made with the actual sausage meat.

You're probably expanding your population too fast. Keep your population lower and you'll have plenty of everything.

It's still so hard to get meat..
Give this video a thumbs up to help spread the word pigs - or don't. meh.
Is it still less goods if you use the double homes or was that fixed.
@@cartertran270 It's limited to plot, so single homes for the win - but you will use more firewood.
I'm one of the 'select PCs' that crash with this update. I hope the hotfix will be soon. For now, I'm back to the original game all over again.

The wild animals are okay for a bit of meat and a few hides at the beginning of a game. But after that they are totally useless.

pigs in a blanket for food...
If I convert an existing goat shed to pigs, what will happen to the goats? Will they roam in the streets homeless, or join remaining goat sheds?
They line up at the church and get christened Billy & Nanny.
How many sheep is optimal per 1 family in a Sheep Farm? I'm afraid I'm undershearing my sheep if there are too many of them and just 1 family working.
That’s actually not something I’ve tested - typically I have more wool than I can sell with 1 fam
