What do you think of the latest patch to Manor Lords? And what else are you looking forward to from future updates? The fact you can checkbox if Industries (such as Tannery, Woodcutters etc) have their own stalls at the market. Not even sure if it was implemented in the last patch, since I just started playing the game on the newest patch. Besides that, the fact that you can actually move seperate Marketstalls and place them as close to the warehouse or granary that is selling the goods was a gamechanger for me.
It is, it is just a very big and difficult to create feature hence it will take a while. Pretty sure the dev hired a programmer to help with AI programming.
I wish they have the night time effects in the game too with moonlight and torches and house and streets lit with the lamp or torches. Would look nice.
I'm not sure if you know this or not but you can set it to have a day/night time cycle, although I don't think there are any torches yet, it'd be cool if it was added later though
I'm one of the many silent gamers waiting for a 'full release'. Game looks and feels great to play, can't wait for all the features to be finished and polished.
It's developing very well. I'm also waiting to play it, although I own the game. I just don't want to sink hours into a game and then have to restart or massively adjust because of a big update.
@@raginasiangaming910 Early Access games also have the issue that you can easily find yourself burnt-out on them before full release, resulting in you never fully enjoying the best version of the game. Sometimes this is a big enough problem that interest in a game can die off before it's finished development. I have a personal rule that I never get an early access game unless I'm interested in being actively involved in its development. I won't get it just because I want to play it sooner.
I really appreciate the realism and complexity of this game. The graphics are amazing, and it's a real breath of fresh air. However, after a day or two of playing, you reach a point where there’s nothing to do. I find myself not playing it until the next update comes out, trying the update for a day, and then stopping again because there's nothing more to do
@andrazstrmcnik2331 agree totally... this game is stunning.. I try to use the absolute hardest settings to create a challenging game too you can set initial bandit camps to five but turn off spawning and no raiders. This creates a situation where the baron takes all land and you have to farm for influence. I think this is the most balanced gameplay for this patch
while i dont really play manor lords due to me finding the food system somewhat confusing the game looks really fun and i can't wait to see what's to come
Yeah, this is why I don't play yet as well, since the rules of the system of ensuring there's enough food production and that everything flows well etc. aren't polished enough, so it kind of defeats the point. Kind of like playing chess but only some of the pieces can move the way they're supposed it. It all becomes too unpredictable.
Well said, lots of indicators of more to come and noticeable gameplay improvements. Imperfections, sure, but amazing what one dude has accomplished thus far with support from the community

I think a co op version of this where you both start on random regions in the map would be good maybe have it always in 4x to speed up the long wait times and keep it flowing would be lots of fun

I'm enjoying the game for what it is but yes, things are a bit uneven. I have several large vegetable plots in one region that seem to produce very little (like 6 or 7 veggies in the food table), while roughly the same amount of plots in another region are doing 10 times that. And while peasants and traders seem to follow roads for the most part, the military just does a slow, straight-line slog through forest & hills when you have them march across the map. Why don't they follow roads also?
CK3 level of diplomacy with this city builder and world map view would be immaculate but it can be seen as an unfair demand still I love this game and will continue to support it.
My top 3 wishlist items are AI players, random map generator, and at least some small form of private multiplayer so I could at least play with my brother...
